Tristen takes a step and vanishes from Lord Haro's eyes, moving faster than before.
("Damit, he faster than before.")
Lord Haro turns believing Tristen would come from his blindspot, but instead Tristen comes from the same place he was standing before.
Tristen throws the axe at Lord Haro with all his force, as the axe moves faster Lord Haro couldn't react fast enough.
("Shit he caught me off guard.")
As the axe hits Lord Haro Armor Haste the axe shattered on impact.
("You fool. Did you believe that attack would have landed?")
As Lord Haro is distracted by the axe throw. Tristen makes a quick move and tries to land a blow on Lord Haro.
But as Tristen goes for the hit, Lord Haro Armor Haste stops Tristen hit from landing.
"You have to be kidding me."
"You take the words straight from my mind."
Tristen quickly looks up at Lord Haro, as Lord Haro slams Tristen face into the ground.
"For someone like The Gifted Human, I was hoping you could do more than physical attacks. But it seems even I could be wrong about some things."
"Some things, I believe you're more wrong about a lot of things."
"What was that?"
Tristen slowly starts to stand up, even with the full force and Lord Haro strength, he is unable to keep Tristen penned down.
"This…is impossible. How can you still be moving?" ("Only if I could use magic to enhance myself. Then I could finally defeat this man, but because of Alek being near by I can't take that risk.")
Tristen grabs Lord Haro's hand, and within seconds Tristen crushes Lord Haro's hand, forcing Lord Haro to remove his hand from penning Tristen down.
"How did you get past my Armor Haste?"
"It is kinda simple really."
As Lord Haro looks down at Tristen, Tristen without hesitation quickly uppercuts Lord Haro in the stomach.
Forcing Lord Haro's feet to leave to the ground, as Tristen's punch lands without the Armor Haste stopping his attack.
("How did he connect again? What is going on?")
Without wasting a second Tristen starts to throw punch after punch. Landing each one.
After the 10th punch landed Tristen stopped attacking as Lord Haro falls to his knees.
"Now that looks better. Maybe you should start practicing that more and people just might start liking you more."
Lord Haro looks at Tristen and quickly goes to cast Fire Ray, but nothing comes out.
"What?"
"Do you not get it yet?"
Tristen grabs Lord Haro's hand and breaks it.
"You bastard. Do you not realize I will heal it back?"
"Really is that so. Then show me and heal your hands back. Well, go on. I am watching."
Lord Haro looks at his hands and sees that they are not showing any signs of healing.
"What is this? Why am I not healing?"
"It seems your awareness is no greater than an undead."
"What did you call me?"
"You heard me. Besides, you lost already."
Tristen points behind Lord Haro, as Lord Haro looks over his shoulder he sees Alek's body was much closer than before.
"When did he get there? Don't tell me you moved him closer."
"I guess you can say I did. Earlier when I moved the fastest I could. I grabbed his body and moved it closer, but not too close because you would have felt it. So I placed him where his ability was just out of range from stopping all your abilities from working, until you slammed me into the ground. You had to kneel to slam me down, and doing so put your foot into his range. That is how I got the under hand on you. Now I believe this is a win for us, so do the right thing and give up. You can't beat me."
"HAHAHA"
Lord Haro starts to laugh.
"You believe you have won this fight. You have no idea what you're rambling about."
"Can you not see or understand your position? You are unable to use any of your abilities and you can't beat me in strength or speed. So tell me how I lose when everything is against you."
"Simple. Should have killed that woman."
("Do what?")
Lord Haro snaps his fingers as it seems nothing happened but as Tristen quickly noticed that Alek's body was no longer that.
As Ash used Swap with Alek's body, allowing for Lord Haro to use his abilities now.
"Now Lord Haro."
"Shit."
"Fire Ray!"
Before Tristen could even move, Lord Haro blasted a giant Fire Ray straight at him, destroying that part of the castle.
After the smoke cleared, Tristen was nowhere to be seen.
"Did you get him, Lord Haro?"
Lord Haro looked over his shoulder at Ash before looking around the room.
"Without a doubt."
"That is good to hear."
Lord Haro stands up and starts to head to the main door.
"Where are you going Lord Haro?"
"To kill the one that brought them here in the first place. Is that girl that you captured still in the dungeon?"
"No, she got away when they showed up."
"Who was all with her when that happened?"
"I don't remember much, but I believe Nor was there."
"I see. So Nor help them get here then."
"What no. I don't believe he would."
By the time Ash looked up at where Lord Haro was, he had already disappeared.
"Is he going to kill Nor, and if so what will that mean for Alek?"
Ash quickly stands up and takes off to find Nor before Lord Haro does.
As Ash leaves the meeting hall, both Madison and Reinhart enter it a few seconds later.
They both look around before Reinhart starts to talk.
"Did we just miss them?"
"That is a good question."
Madison hits himself in the head.
"I can't believe I let my guard down and let her get away like that."
"It's alright, we all make mistakes like that. We are only human after all."
Both Reinhart and Madison look forward again and see Tristen appear in front of them.
As Tristen is glowing all white before the glow went away, like he just came back from heaven itself.
"What was that?"
"We both thought you died or something."
"Please, me die. Now that is a funny joke. No, it is impossible for me to die, as long as Princess Vita is still alive."
"That is one weird ability."
"Yeah, be happy he is on our side, and not with the empire."
Madison pulls out his only sword and hands it to Tristen.
"It is best if you have a weapon you're good with."
"Thank you. Now let's get an move on. We need to stop Lord Haro and end this battle."
"Yeah about that."
Tristen looks at Madison.
"What is it?"
"We ran into someone on the way here."
"And who might that be?"
"Well he's…"
"I am a man that wants to strike a deal with the leader of the Rebellion."
Tristen looks forward and sees Hoshiki walk forward towards them.
"Why are you here?"
"To make a deal like I said."
"As if."
Tristen gets in a fighting position.
"Now now, I think you should hear me out before you attack."
"And why should we."
"Because, I know something about your father, Tristen Welshock."
"What did you say?"
"So what do you say, Gifted Human?"
As Hoshiki is waiting for Tristen's reply, back in the Kingdom Of Beroenix Lloyd gives off a smile as he looks at Princess Vita.
"I guess it is about time for me to make a move now."
Lloyd stands up from his seat and gives Princess Vita a quick bow.
"I do apologize for the late notice, but I must take my leave now."
Princess Vita stands up quickly from her own seat.
"Is something wrong? Did something happen with the plan?"
"Not at all, my princess."
Lloyd leans back up from the bow and pulls out a pocket watch, and sees that the time is a little after mid-day.
"Then what is it, if I may ask?"
"I have something important to attend to, but I do promise this importance is to help us in the long run."
"Oh, I see. Very well, whatever you have to do, make sure to be victorious."
"Without a doubt."
Lloyd starts to leave, as Princess Vita spoke.
"Sir Lloyd."
Lloyd turns his head and looks over at Princess Vita
"Yes Princess Vita?"
"Will I see you before the battle is over.?"
Lloyd gives Princess Vita a simple smile as he replies.
"Who knows, the chances are slim but we will see. But if I don't return in time, there is a letter for you. I left it with the butler, he will give it to you before you leave."
"Of course. Good luck."
"Thank you, my lady. But your blessing is not needed for a man like me. Save that for a man that deserves your heart."
As Princess Vita starts to blush, she instantly starts to look around her for something to cover her face, to hide her embarrassment.
"That was unexpected, for someone with your standards. Sir Lloyd."
"I do apologize, but I just couldn't help it."
As Lloyd leaves, he walks over to a maid and speaks softly for only the maid to hear him.
"Is everything ready?"
"Yes my Lord. It will be the 3rd door on the right. They are waiting for you."
"That is good to know. Take care of the Princess for me."
"Yes of course."
Lloyd starts to walk down a hallway on the right, with a dark red carpet and grayish white walls with 5 black doors on each side of the hallway with a touch on the right side of each door.
As Lloyd walks up to the 3rd door on the right, the touch turns blue. As Lloyd opens the door, he appears in a different building, in the Kingdom of Farwell.
As Lloyd walks through the door, he appears in a hallway with a man standing off to the side of the door.
The man has on an all white suit with a red undershirt and white hair with red eyes.
"It has been a while has it not elder brother Philip."
Philip turns and moves his hand through his hair.
"It has only been like two or was it three years, maybe four."
"I see you have not changed at the slightest."
"Now that was kinda cold of you."
Lloyd gives Philip a serious look as they start to walk down the hallway.
"Do you have all the evidence that we need?"
"Are you talking about these?"
Philip pulls out four different files and hands them to Llody
"I only told you about three things, what is with the fourth one?"
"That one is only if we need to use it."
"You mean."
"Yeap. You're not the only one that has a brain in this family. You know that right?"
"Yeah, yeah. I almost forgot that you had your own things up your sleeves."
"The real question is do you think these will work?"
"They will have to. There is no way King Olaf would turn us down with everything about to unfold in the next couple days."
"It would only make sense, especially with the defeat of Lord Haro. It will force his hand to join the Rebellion."
"That is the plan at least."
Both Llody and Philip get to the throne room doors as the guard standing outside approaches them.
"State your business with the king?"
"We must discuss the future of the trades and goods for the Kingdom Of Stonehelm."
("I see we are playing that card.") "Yes, there has been a change on the market and we would like to take advantage of it before a different kingdom does."
Both the guards look at each other.
"Do you have proof of this?"
Lloyd hands over the files to the guard.
The guard opens each file and all he sees is trade documents.
"I see. You both may go in."
The guard hands the files back to Lloyd, as Lloyd hands them to Philip.
"Do try not to drop them."
"Sure well."
Both of them enter the throne room, and as they both approach the throne where King Olaf sits, King Olaf looks at the both of them as he clicks his tongue before looking at the guards in the throne room.
The guards stop Lloyd and Philip in their steps.
"That is fair enough. Now state your business."
"There will be no need for that."
King Olaf, takes a sip of his wine before throwing the cup at Lloyd.
"They are probably here to surrender and hope the empire will spare their lives, but bad news boys. I don't accept your surrender."
"That is good to know, because we are not surrendering today."
"Do what?"
King Olaf scratches his long beard as he looks at them both.
"Then why are you here?"
Lloyd smiles.
"To accept your surrender."
