"Morning, Ronan," Alistair greeted Ronan who drowsily stepped down the stairs to the kitchen where Alistair was making breakfast.
"Morning," Ronan greeted with a yawn, he made a bee dive to the sofa where he flung his spirit into the peaceful land of dreams. Everything was so comfortable that he didn't want to stay awake, he just wanted to sleep all day.
"We have school Ronan, so you might consider not doing that," Alistair said as he prepared a cup of coffee for the drowsy boy whilst lowering the cooker.
"Ah, I don't wanna go~" Ronan whined in a daze, his position just as hazardous as his bed hair, and Alistair couldn't help but laugh at how cute he was being as he approached him.
"Ronan, if you don't go, I'll punish you," Alistair muttered as he leaned in towards the sleepy boy whose eyes suddenly snapped open as he slumped to the floor in shock when he saw Alistair's up-close face.
'The hell?! P-punish?!' Ronan blushed in embarrassment as his mind wandered through different scenarios, his sleepiness clearing up as a result.
'He's so easy,' Alistair thought while barely holding in his laughter.
"W-what do you mean by that?" Ronan asked with a sulk as he stared at Alistair with suspicious eyes.
"I'll make you clean this entire building, after all, you can't stay all day lazing around while I suffer in school," Alistair said with a gentle smile which made the heart of all who saw flutter, Ronan was no exception as he cleared his throat to reduce the awkwardness.
'Damn, being that good-looking has to have a ban or something, it's too unfair to other people,' Ronan thought in annoyance.
Admiring a boy in the early morning wasn't what he was up for at any time and so he decided to caution himself.
"Erm… I don't mind doing the cleaning if it's to pay back, I clean my house most of the time since I live alone, and although this building is way bigger I don't mind at all. It's the least I could do after all your help," Ronan said sincerely with a soft smile.
Alistair was quite stunned, subconsciously checking Ronan's thoughts to know if he meant it only to be surprised by how genuine his emotions were.
'He's a good person, that's for sure,' Alistair thought.
"It's not a problem, you can always take me out to somewhere cool in payment," Alistair suggested while handing Ronan the coffee who briefly nodded in appreciation.
"Alright, but then I'll need your number, hope you don't mind?" Ronan asked cautiously.
"Of course, I don't mind," Alistair said easing up Ronan.
From then on their friendship which would soon bloom into something quite unusual began.

Later on, Alistair and Ronan began preparations for school, Alistair gave Ronan his clothes which he had laundered and dry cleaned when Ronan was taking a shower.
Ronan couldn't be more grateful and kept on showering Alistair with appreciation, he almost couldn't believe that such a good human existed. After breakfast, which was prepared by Alistair, the duo rushed out just in time to meet the morning bus.
Soon, the duo arrived at school and finally parted ways after exchanging numbers. Ronan couldn't be happier, he got a cool friend who was compassionate and also an upperclassman!
If he had a problem in his studies he could ask Alistair for help, after all, based on what John and Fred had told me he was not just a class topper but an entire grade topper.
'I hit jackpot!' Ronan thought in glee as he skipped to class but suddenly stopped.
Now that he thought about it, just when did Alistair take interest in him? Just when? Was he doing all this because of guilt of kissing him...?
Ronan's hands tightened at this thought but suddenly shook it off, did it matter? His reason didn't matter anymore, what did was that they were now friends and he would make sure that wouldn't change.
[In class- First period]
Ronan checked his assignments one last time before keeping them back in and just then his two clowns of friends entered at the same time and unsurprisingly began a circus show as soon as they showed up.
"Shit Ronan! We're in serious trouble!!" John started as he dragged his chair near Ronan's who barely glanced at him.
"Come on man, please help your bros!!" Fred pleaded as he made a prayer hand towards Ronan who slapped it off.
"Even Buddha won't help you at this point, we're given exactly five homework and our homeroom teacher will be here anytime soon so I don't know how to help but here anyways, you can copy Mathematics and English; we all know their teachers are tough," Ronan said as he handed them his books.
"Thanks a lot, bro!!" Fred said in relief as he leaned in for a hug at which Ronan glared him down.
"Either way, our homeroom teacher will be a bit late since our class is admitting a new student or so I heard," John said as he instantly started jotting down the homework.
"Wow? I hope it's a girl, by now it's only our class that has no girls in it," Fred groaned in the complaint, throwing his head back dramatically.
"Yeah hopefully, by the way, don't fold that and be careful with it, it barely recovered from the rain," Ronan cautioned at John who had folded his note in two.
"Sorry, now that I think about how did you end up yesterday? We were calling you so you'd join us but no go," John said.
"Ah… so it was you guys huh? About that, I ended up going home with Alistair, turns out our houses were close," Ronan said causally as he brought some sweets out of his bag, popping it into his mouth before facing the duo with a few in his hands.
"Want some?" he asked them.
"Sure…. wait! You went home with A-Alistair?! That Alistair?!" Fred exclaimed in shock nearly calling everyone's attention to them if not for the homeroom teacher coming in and snatching it right back.
John was just as shocked but seeing the teacher he just took a few sweets and minded himself.
"Yeah, and you might wanna quiet down since the teacher is here," Ronan said in annoyance.
"Ah… yes, fill me in later though."
Murmurs immediately filled the whole class as they watched the teacher enter with a new student, dressed in a simple floral dress with long black hair, the new kid faced the classroom with a beautiful smile lightening up the place.
"We have a new student class, you can now introduce yourself, Amber," The teacher said.
"Hello everyone! My name is Amber Lee! Nice to meet you, I hope we become friends!" the student said with a sugary smile filled with sweetness.
She had supple, beautiful black hair, a pair of beautiful teeth, pretty pink lips, and a cute round face that actuated the large glasses on her face making her look incredibly cute; but most especially- she was a girl.
And not just a girl, a cute one at that.
Amber Lee was very accepted into Class C who had waited for so long.
