"Creeek"
The door to a private room of a hotel opened. The inside was dimly lit. At the centre was a round table full of food and drinks. The people sitting at the table were probably non-alcoholic since all the drinks were soft drinks. There were several girls and boys about the same age sitting around the table. Only one chair was still empty.
As soon as the door opened the people inside looked up.
A girl walked in. She was tall and her long black braided hair fell over her back as she walked in with her head lowered. Her hands were inside her pockets but the hand wraps that covered her forearm could be seen because of the rolled sleeves of her shirt. She pulled out the empty chair quietly and sat down crossing her legs. She then pulled a big box closer.
"Welcome back Cap." A male voice sounded.
The girl lifted her head and looked at the boy who spoke. Even under the faint light her green and blue irises shone like gemstones. The coldness in them dimmed as she looked at a pretty boy with beautiful brown hair. He was raising his glass to her.
"Hm." She hummed softly at Surjo and opened the box.
Seeing the food inside the remaining frost in her eyes vanished and her aura became warmer. She carefully plated the food such that not a single grain of rice was wasted. Then she pulled out something that looked like transparent gloves from her pocket. She wore them over her hand wraps and went to wash her hands. After that, she took a long sniff of the Biryani and started eating it devotedly savoring each grain and bone.
Seeing her immersed in her food the others also resumed eating. The atmosphere in the room also seemed to become warmer. They all enjoyed their food to the fullest, taking their time in savouring each bite. After a long while the plates were finally empty. Olivia licked her fingers and giving a little burp patted her tummy which she felt to be round from all the Biryani she just stuffed in.
Looking at the people before her she addressed no one in particular "Where to now?"
"Go home and sleep? I'm pretty tired even without doing anything." A girl replied.
She was sitting beside Olivia. Her long white hair was tied in a low ponytail. Her white eyelashes sparkled under the light casting a shadow on her grey eyes. Her pale skin was in stark contrast with the surrounding making it seem like she was surrounded by some supernatural glow.
Ritutandra looked at her sister while wiping the water off her hands with a napkin.
Olivia just shrugged.
"Do you even think about anything else apart from eating and sleeping Miss Ghostie?" A boy sitting opposite Ritu said rolling his eyes.
He had shoulder-length hair, half of which was tied in a ponytail and his forehead was covered with bangs.
"Ghostie" was the name of a cartoon character. A chunky white cat ghost which looked like floating white cotton candy. Her friends teased her by calling her that name because like that cat she was also white from top to bottom. Her hair, skin, eyes, eyelashes; and on top of everything her favourite colour was white and she was a cat person.
Parijat always pulled his sister's leg saying that she should audition for horror movies. No makeup, no editing required. She would become a millionaire and rule the horror film world. In response, he would get a full body massage from her but he never learns his lesson and keeps asking for a full body massage.
"Of course, I think about other things." Ritu grinned at her brother, Parijat.
It looked sweet but Parijat felt like it was the creepiest and gave him goosebumps.
Ritu got up and cracked her knuckles.
She then slowly strolled towards Parijat still maintaining her smile and said "Like now I am thinking about what new style of massage to give you and how much pressure should I apply and where. Do you want me to be your personal masseur my baby brother?"
He laughed stiffly and said "Ha.ha.ha. Sis, I was joking. How could I be so impudent to my elder? I'm not so bra- Aaah." Before he could finish his sentence, his ear was harshly twisted by his elder.
"Aaaaaa! Chhotdi, I'm sorry. I was wrong. Oww! I won't tease you promise. Aaa!"
"You brat. I lost count of how many promises you made till date," Ritu said giving a smack on his head.
"Oowwww! This is the last. I swear! I swear! Didiii. Save me!" Parijat called Olivia for help.
"If you're so eager to die what can I do? You dug your own grave, laid on it and even covered it with mud yourself. You're just asking someone to offer the flowers," Olivia said indifferent to her brother's please.
Parijat looked like he was about to cry.
"You're so biased." He said sniffling. Olivia calmly sipped her soda.
Ritutandra smirked gaining support from her elder sister and happily beat up Parijat.
The others laughed seeing the almighty Parijat Mallick getting beaten by his sister.
Parijat glared at his friends who were enjoying his misery.
'You fatherf*ckers!' He cursed in his mind.
'These are the people I call friends? What friends? I don't doubt they'll be the first to serve me to the enemy with sauce and salad if the chance arrives. Maybe even give a bottle of high-quality wine too. Wait. Why would I even need enemies if I have these b*stards?' He cried in his heart.
Being glared at they pursed their lips trying hard to control their laughter because they knew Parijat was only afraid of his sisters. If they laughed now then they'd be the ones done for. No one escaped his pranks except Olivia and Ritu.
Seeing them stop laughing Parijat's aggrieved heart soothed a little. But soon he screamed as Ritu pinched his cheeks hard. He finally managed to escape after promising to buy her the biggest art gallery ticket.
