Chapter 62 - 62. Reunion 2

Ritu settled down and flipped her hair.

Parijat also sat down rubbing his cheeks which were red like cherries.

"Go and give some ice on it." Olivia sighed and said when she saw Parijat rubbing his cheeks which puffed up like a hamster's, with an aggrieved expression.

"Hmph. You don't care about me at all. Why are pretending? Where were you when I was calling you to save me?" He turned his face away. He looked like an abandoned puppy.

Olivia sighed and got up. She took his hand and led him to the refrigerator, took out some ice cubes, folded them in her handkerchief and gently applied them on his swollen cheeks. Parijat still looked away which made it difficult for Olivia to apply the ice.

"You provoked her and got beaten up on your own responsibility."

He still did not talk.

Olivia stayed silent for a while and said indifferently "You don't want your handsome face back? Okay. I thought it'd be a pity to have those natural blushes."

She pointed at his red puffed-up cheeks and continued "But you seem to like them so much that you won't let me apply the ice on you. Then I'll be going."

Olivia pretended to leave.

"No. Wait." Parijat called out to her and moved his face forward.

Olivia shook her head and treated his cheeks. She flicked his forehead once done with his cheeks and said "You two never learn the meaning of living in peace."

Parijat gave a goofy grin and put his arms over her shoulders as they walked towards their seats.

Although they had an age difference of only a few months, Olivia was still regarded as the elder sister by Ritutandra and Parijat. Ritu was Olivia's younger sister and Parijat's second elder sister while Parijat was the youngest of the three and was their goofy little brother.

Every time Ritu and Parijat fought, which was basically seventy per cent of the time, Olivia had to step in to break the bulls apart. The most common topic for their fight was who was more loved by Olivia. Those two were like little kids always fighting for their elder sister's attention. But the most important trait that united the younger siblings was their awful protectiveness of their elder sister.

"Someone was crying a moment ago and look how elated he is now getting his sister's attention. Tsk. Should our classmates witness this scene I guarantee they are bound to faint from shock. I wonder how those admirers of someone who see him as a lion will react if they knew he is such a Koala around his sister." Abhirup indirectly teased Parijat.

"What did you say? Care to repeat?" Parijat teleported near Abhirup in the blink of an eye and said looming over him with a "friendly" smile.

"Did I say something? I don't remember." Abhirup acted like Parijat was talking nonsense.

"Baby, did you hear me say something?" He hugged Surjo and said resting his chin on the latter's shoulder.

Surjo felt Abhirup's hot breath on his face and said coughing "Ahem. N...no. I didn't hear anything."

A small blush crept up his cheeks.

"Yup. Right." Abhirup gave Surjo's lips a quick peck and continued drinking.

Seeing their PDA Parijat gave them a disgusted look and went to his seat.

"Pari, why don't you write a BL novel? You'll get plenty of inspiration and ideas from live scenarios." The girl sitting on the sofa beside Abhirup said grimacing at the amount of dog food the couple was throwing at them.

Her blunt bob hair framed her oval-shaped face. Her dark brown skin contrasted with the transparent glass she held in her hand. She was so dark that she almost blended in the shady corner with only her brown eyes glistening like that of a wolf.

"Not a bad idea Trayee. I should also use them as models for the cover page. And I think I should note down points from these live events for juicy content." Parijat replied to her while nodding.

"Are you jealous of my hot boyfriend?" Abhirup asked with a smirk.

Surjo blushed hard hearing him and tried to bury his head in his glass. Abhirup noticed his red ears and gave them a light kiss.

Trayee promptly responded "Nope. I just don't like eating this much dog food in a day, every day."

She said it with a serious and firm expression conveying the torture she suffered from the dog food attack.

Abhirup coughed and said softly with a little pout "We don't flirt that much,"

Trayee sneered "Yes, sure, of course. It's just that you'd probably start making out right here if possible."

Abhirup cleared his throat while Surjo's face turned red like ketchup. He was so grateful that the room was not brightly lit and they also sat in a much darker corner. Else if someone saw him right now they would think he came dipping his face in red paint.

"Oh, Olly," Trayee suddenly turned to Olivia remembering something. "Nilu called yesterday to say that she won the tournament."

She already told Ritu and Pari as they arrived earlier then she forgot to mention it when Olivia arrived in the course of the meal.

Nilu was the nickname of Nilambori, another member of their group. She was away due to a fencing tournament she participated in. As Ritutandra, Parijat and Olivia were on a mission she did not call them directly and only shared the news with the rest two days ago after the results came out.

"Mmm." Olivia nodded with a hum.

She was not surprised by the result. Although she did not say anything, there was a gentle and proud look on her face at her friend's achievement.
