07. Valor, The Guide – Part 2
"Now Now, let's get onto business, let's set up your first house in Cube.", Valor declared.
"Take the house card in your hand and think of the house you want and will it to appear on the card's surface, once Cube recognises your design you can place it anywhere you want, just focus on the house shape, design and colour, Cube will take care of the technical stuff."
"Warning in Advance once you set up your house you can only change the size of the rooms, not the design. And you have to stuck with it until you reached a ranked profession so make this count."
Nameless who was concentrating on the design couldn't help but notice, "what is a ranked profession?"
"Focus on your house now, we will go through your profession test later" commended Valor.
With no choice to push further, Nameless concentrated on the work at hand he thinks of a house in his shattered memory a low ceiling wooden house with full glass walls on the front surrounded by groves of Pine trees, there's Swimming pool on first floor balcony. The image of the house somehow gives him comfort. He pictured the house to the last detail and will it to appear on the card in his hand. The house card glowed for a couple of seconds and when the light dims the picture of the house was imprinted on the house card where the house symbol was previously printed.
"Nice, you succeeded in one go and the house looked much cleared on the card. This is a success; you could be a mage with this level of perception. Now let's get on to the next step place the card on a anywhere you want and ask your system to activate the house card"
"Anywhere? What if I paced it on a boulder or at the end of the cliff? Will the house fall down or something?" Nameless asked with his eye brows crunched as he was not able to imagine how the house is going to pop out.
"Well, no newbie asked that question yet, but the seniors tried to place the card on water and yes, at the end of the cliff, Cube will just adjust the terrain suited for the house, the one placed on water becomes a floating house, the second becomes a cliff hanger house. Do you want to try it?" Valor returned a light smirk like he has really holding back his enthusiasm to try it. Just the smile is enough for nameless to get rid of all the ideas of testing the card.
"No, just a normal house is good, he walked around the ground marked with multiple plots and chose a corner site and placed his house card at the centre of the plot and ordered "System – Activate the house card".

Once the command activated, he could see the hologram of the house projected in real time and size which he could modify appear before him. He could change the dimensions; colour even turn the house upside down and design the ground layer after playing with the setting and finally satisfied with the house he ordered "system place this house here"
The house projection solidified and a real house was in place of the hologram. Nameless could feel the nostalgia from seeing it, he might have lived in this house for some time. A few memories of a small kid running around does pop up, but Nameless squashed the memory and went on to see the house, It was fully furnitured and everything was just like what he has pictured it, he took a tour of the house and was checking out the decorations that was in place that system has even generated the bronze warrior on horse statue he planted as a joke in his back garden. Only after some time, did he notice that Valor was not with him.
He found Valor standing outside the house, "Why didn't you come in?" Nameless asked.
"Well, your home is a personal space unless invited the others can't come inside."
"And a friendly advice, never invite others to your house, if you don't want to be taken advantage of"
"Is it regarding the healing factor of the house?"
"yes but not only that, transmigrating to other world is a strenuous Job, you need to prepare well for it, Many mana professions needs Meditation as a basic to activate the skills will you be able to concentrate when another person is near you, just when you are vulnerable?"
"Mm, Got it", Nameless Nodded.
"Well as you have set up your house without much aid from me you can set up other cards also, set up book terminal first in your mediation room that way you can access it easier. You need to go to the Central Library to register to use the terminal so for now just place it somewhere, same as your house card, once placed it you can't change it."
Nameless placed the Book terminal in the study room, and then they set up the Teleportation circle outside the house gate, last to set up was the Boundary Talisman.
When the boundary talisman was used a Gargoyle appeared and stand on Guard Near the gate.
"Keep in mind, teleportation circle is not a private property that means anyone can access it. So don't be surprised if someone popped out outside your gate. You have a boundary talisman so no one can enter your grounds, anyway you don't have to worry much anyone who have a sense would not cause in a deity's domain."
"Now let us go to the Central Library, which will give you an understanding on the general info and you can put your level 0 system library function to use."
"Is that the useless system really helpful?"
"Ha ha, don't worry it's because the system level is low, once you upgrade it, the AI will be much smarter it is made that way so your system can grow with you and to cultivate trust between you both, so it could support well when you reach high ranks. It's lacking cognitive functions now so it only responds to certain commands but trust me once it levelled up a few times it will become much smarter than you."
"The higher systems have their own ego, so they don't take up on newbies. That's why the higher ups come with this idea of system level and gradually upgrading system, at least that's what my system told when it reached level 3."
"Well, let us get going you will get used to it, Now get onto the teleportation Circle and say 'To Central Library'" said Valor moving into the circle made of runes unlike when in the card it wasn't glowing or moving anymore.
Nameless also get into the circle and commanded, "to Central Library".
There was a sudden pulse of blue light from the circle of runes when the light gone, both Ethereals standing on it was also gone.
