08. The Central Library.
The Central Library of the cube was as expected a Cube. It looked like it was taken out of a sci-fi fantasy, pulsing with light here and there and with each pulse someone is going in or out of the Cube.
Nameless and Valor are standing before it, The Central Library is a big cube made of many small cubes, and the smaller cubes are moving around making the place look like a mix of sci-fi and magic. Numerous Ethereals were passing through the cube along with some mechanised beings emitting different light and small gear turning sounds.
Nameless was astonished by the sight of the grandeur and the odd mix of the beings some walking, some flying, different shapes, colours, sizes in a single place. Valor just stood beside him let him take in the grand scale of the Cube.
"I know, it's your first time seeing these many species at the same time, right? Well, you already know. Cube is travelling across the Multiverse so it picked all kinds of beings with potential to become a God. There's more than a hundred thousand members in Cube, about 3000+ demi-gods, 800 deities and around 300+ Gods, Cube is already big enough to raise up to be a Celestial realm, I heard a rumour that the cube already gathered enough Laws from the existing universes so that it could build a new Universe separate from the existing Universe Order. When it happens, we will also become the supreme beings of the new order." Valor explained enthusiastically to the stunned Nameless.
"If the cube is that much stronger, why is it still gathering mortals with potential to be Gods?" Nameless questioned Valor.
"You are really clueless, aren't you. Even if the scale is much bigger it all comes down to simple logic, Authority. The Cube wants Authority to create a new Universe and become a new order, do you think the existing order will allow that, that's why Cube is helping us to become God. We are in a symbiotic relation we need Cube to help us pave way to become Gods and Cube needs us to fight for it to protect it from invasions."
Seeing that Nameless still didn't understand the workings between the Gods and Cube, Valor explained it through simpler way. "Do you know why we need to transmigrate to another world to become God? It's to steal the world's Law, we are the thieves which go to different worlds/universes and steal the World Law to become God, this is how Cube is collecting the Laws by weakening the already existing universes and getting strengthened by it."
"But this doesn't mean the God's from other universes are fools, once the God's from our side or Cube takes any action inside their universe, they will Jump together to fight us out. That's why Cube is always moving around in the dangerous Chaos Ocean to lose the track of the other Gods and to escape from the Universe Order's senses. This is where we come in since we are mortals and have not much power both the God's and Universe Order doesn't care about us. So, we sneak in as their own gain power to be gods."
"So, we are like spies?"
"Spies?? No, maybe thieves would be good, we are more like Bandits, we become Gods to enters the celestial realm cause troubles and steal divinity and escape" "That's our modulus operandi"
Valor noticed Nameless goes silent and showed no reaction in his face like his face was frozed, he asked "why did you expect something else, to be a hero or something?"
"To be truthful, yes. I thought I will be more if I join here, now I am feeling like a cog in a big Machine, again" Nameless sighed for the first time in a long while.
"You can be more, if you are more powerful, that's a rule never going to change even if we become members of the new Universe Order." Valor smiled at Nameless and tapped his shoulders and moved towards the Central Library. "Come on, we have more things to do follow up"
It took Nameless a couple seconds to gather himself and follow Valor, only then it stroked Nameless this is the first time Valor smiled without any deceit. 'Yes, everyone has their story but all want one thing. To be powerful, to become the MC of their story'.

"You can choose any cube here and just need to press your hand to teleport inside, if you want someone to come into your cube instance you need give them the access or they can come inside together if they are in contact with you, of course you can kick them out any time" Valor explained the working of the central library standing before a cube that's transparent. "Transparent Cubes are unoccupied ones those blue cubes are personal instances; green ones are public instance. Once you are registered you can attend the public instances, they were usually seminars or public discussions try to attend some you might new ideas that you might never think of."
"There were occasionally gold ones if you are lucky, don't miss it. It means a God is present in that instance, it would be an eye opener for you since you have me a God first-hand."
"Well, I have met Saint Lucas"
"Saint Lucas is a deity; Gods are above him there is a difference between a lake and ocean between them"
"Go ahead put your hand on the panel"
Nameless placed his hand on the transparent panel immediately system voice rang in his mind.
"Private instance"
Nameless felt a pull and he was inside the cube before him was a screen with many mystery symbols on it. Just as he wants to touch it, he heard another alert.
"Yes"
Valor appeared next to him with a flash. He went near the panel and makes some changes to the it and beckoned Nameless "Your system can do the registration for you, if you touched it but it will be much frustrating without understanding the symbols, so I pulled the language package for you. Install it to your system then you can understand it." He motioned towards the screen.
Nameless went forward and touched it.
This time the mechanical voice comes from his mind, it's his system. "Yes, go ahead."
Nameless took a seat in the Sofa placed against the walls and asked system to Start. He felt like his head was swelling with information on strange symbols and text and even voices it was like he has used it multiple time like it was the language he used in day-to-day life. Then comes a sharp pain like needles poked in his pain. Once the pain resides, he opened his eyes and found Valor sitting in another recliner watching something in a hand-held display like a tablet pc in his memory but he can't see anything it was just transparent to his eyes.
But when his eyes fell on the screen which he saw when he entered, his eyes bulged in Surprise as he was now able to understand the symbols it says
