CHAPTER 76 – Easing Her
"I'm finished!"
Those words resounded in Chase's ears as the man in question before him looked no worse than a finished man.
"Fearghal."
"I need help. I cannot go to Korad or I am finished in business and everything," he lametedly reported himself.
"Calm down. Calm down."
"I can't be calm," Fearghal blurted out.
"You have to!" Chase half yelled and closed the gap between him and his friend. He placed a hand on his shoulder, squeezing hard on it to snap his friend out of his frenzy.
"You have to, Fearghal. Remember who you are."
His words seemed to have done the magic and instantly Fearghal's eyes dropped close as he took in deep breaths.
A minute after, Chase tried again. "Now tell me exactly what happened."
Fearghal went about narrating the outcome of everything has he had been informed prior, leaving no part of the story out.
