Alec's face soured the moment he saw him, Michelle on the other hand maintained a straight face.
"What are you doing here?" Alec said in a low gritty voice.
"Can't I come just to see my brother and my betrothed."
Alec was furious but Michelle flashed a bright smile at him,
"Sure Mr. Farehya and I must say you are indeed good at making unexpected visits."
"And you are indeed good at forcing yourself into this lie you guys call 'a marriage'. " Dwane retorted.
Michelle still maintained a joyous facade which perplexed Alec.
"Let us be the judge of that." She held Alec's arm and looked at him with a smile.
"Please excuse me, enjoy your day Mr. Farehya." She said and went to her room upstairs.
Alec looked at Dwane with sheer animosity,
"You are not welcomed here Dwane, stay away from my wife."
Dwane smirked at him.
"We'll see how long that'll remain. Come on brother, she is a lying and scheming vixen, don't you see it?"
"Leave Dwane and don't ever step into my house again."
Alec turned around and looked at Ben signalling him to make sure that Dwane leaves.
Alec headed upstairs furiously,
Michelle's joyous demeanour towards Dwane only irked him more. He opened the door, planning to confront Michelle only to see her eyes shooting daggers at him even more fiercely,
"I HATE him Alec."
He had never seen her so angry. Her reaction made him forget his course of action.
"I hate the very sight of him. I don't want him around me." Alec could only nod at her fuming words.
"But why were you so cordial with him?"
"What else should I do? Let him know that he manages to get on my nerves? That's what he fucking wants and there is no way I'll let him have that."
Michelle's reply baffled him. 'What absurd mind games are these?' Nonetheless he couldn't take her talking all sweetly with Dwane even if she was faking it.
"I'll see that Dwane doesn't interfere in our lives." He assured her.
Her revealed identity and skills naturally resulted in Michelle carrying a confident and opulence temperament or it was not Michelle who changed but Alec who looked at her differently knowing everything about her. She didn't seem like the shy and timid old El, or was it all Alec's way of looking at her differently.
"El.."
in an attempt to reduce the distant feeling in his heart, he pulled her into a hug and inhaled her familiar scent.
"Let's stay like this all day." He said burying his face on her Crook.
"Let's stay like this forever." she replied.
"Can I ask you for something?" Alec asked.
"Anything"
"No more lies." He said.
She stiffened at first but nodded later.
"No more lies," she repeated.
"Is there anything else I should know? Do you really not remember our time together as kids?" He asked undoing the hug.
"No, I had an accident when I was fourteen or fifteen, or perhaps they were two different accidents, but I had several brain injuries and I had to be operated on because of several amnesiac episodes. But after that I lost all my previous memories. I really don't remember anything Alec."
He felt sorry for her,
"Don't dwell on it, Love, we've got a long life ahead of us to create a lot of beautiful memories." He said and kissed her forehead.
"Let's start from now." Alec seductively whispered.
Before Michelle could comprehend his words, Alec picked her up and threw her on the bed making her body slightly bounce. He got on top of her and planned soft kisses on her porcelain skin.
The wounds she had from the clash at the bar were almost healed, but the marks they left reminded him of their irretrievable loss.
Alec stopped himself from going into that line of thought and kissed Michelle harder. She moaned to his roughness.
Their bodies instinctively moved as they did previously. Michelle's hand moved to his back, digging her nails deep into his skin.
Alec's hand as usual, moved to her head pulling her hair. His actions alerted her and she was reminded of the vile words Alec had said about her to Dwane.
Michelle shot her eyes wide open and she stopped moaning.
"Al.. Alec.. Let go..let go.." she struggled beneath him.
Holding his hand which was on her hair, she motioned to pull it away. Letting her hair go,
Alec placed his hand on her face, "What's wrong Love?"
"Could you not…could you not pull my hair."
Alec's eyes darkened at her request. He was both hurt and vexed. 'Does she see me as a monstrous person?' The question haunted him.
"You never stopped me before '' Pulling her hair was one of Alec's intuitive foreplay moves and she hadn't stopped or expressed any uncomfort about it before.
"Please" she pleaded.
Her pleading didn't help the agony Alec was feeling within him. It only made him feel like someone despicable. He buried his face on the crook of her neck feeling overwhelmed.
"I won't hurt you El."
"I know.. but.." El wasn't able to complete her words.
Alec tried distracting the both of them by nibbling and sucking her neck. Slowly her moans reverberated around the room as they resumed their act of love. However, Alec would stop himself from pulling her hair when his hands touched her head. In no time, they indulged themselves back to their love-making Her loud moans echoed through the villa for the rest of the day. It was as if the two intertwined bodies knew nothing but each other.
The following morning, Alec woke up from a pleasant sleep, something he hadn't had for days, he found Michelle sleeping peacefully by his side as their arms wrapped around each other.
Relishing the alluring sight in front of him, he pulled her further closer. Michelle let out a 'hmm' sound as she lazily opened her eyes.
"Good morning, Love" Alec greeted her.
She closed her eyes again and nuzzled her face against his chest.
Every little gesture of hers since she returned back rendered a sense of fulfilment to Alec.
This is exactly what he was missing.
"I want to wake up like this everyday." He expressed his desire.
"I shouldn't have let you go, I was miserable without you." He stroked her cheek. She turned her face up and looked into his eyes,
"I was miserable too, my Love. Everything seemed bland and colourless." She replied.
'Bland and colourless' It was exactly how Dwane was feeling right now. "You call this food? I'd rather survive on only water than eat this bland stuff you call food." he snapped at the servants.
Dwane was growing more and more ill-tempered since the incident at the bar. But his irritability knew no bounds since he returned from Alwils Villa the previous day.
It seemed as if he despised everything around him. Even though he'd hate to admit it, he missed being around Michelle. He pushed his plate slightly.
"Make something spicy." He frowned.
Back at Alwils Villa, Michelle and Alec continued to have their usual romantic morning like they used to before. According to their schedules, they had their breakfast together and left for their respective work. The only difference was that Michelle had left for Michelle Designs.
