Dwane tried to keep his mind off Michelle's miscarriage. He was well aware that dwelling into that line of thought would be destructive for his agenda of hurting Michelle.
He focused on his next course of action which was to create further differences between her and Alec.
That evening at Rags and Riches bar, Alec was drinking as usual and Ricky was giving him company.
"Alec, my brother!"
They heard a familiar voice from behind, It was Dwane.
He walked towards them handsomely with a smug smile on his face.
Alec's face immediately turned bitter at the sight of him.
"What do you want?" He gritted through his teeth.
"I'm only here to see you. How are you doing brother?" He asked with fake concern.
Alec remained quiet.
"Dwane please… leave him alone." Ricky said.
"I'm sorry for what happened to you. But water under the bridge right?"
"Come on, I'm your brother, Dwane." He tried to get closer to Alec. Stretching his arms he embraced him.
Alec quickly got away from him, undoing the hug.
"Bros before hoes right?" Dwane smirked.
Alec was raging.
"Don't you dare.."
"Don't I dare what?" "Aren't you aware how she manipulated you only to get back at me." Dwane's voice got accusatory.
"Dwane leave… Please leave." Ricky tried hard to be patient.
"Fine, I won't say anything against her."
After a few seconds of silence Dwane continued,
"But irrespective of whatever happened, I hope you haven't forgiven your word to me Alec."
Dwane's expression got more vicious when he said the last part of the sentence.
"Now that I've found her, I hope you won't stand in my way to make her mine. After all, your marriage with her isn't valid."
Alec gripped his glass hard as he fumed.
"She is my wife, don't you dare lay a finger on her, you bastard." He stepped ahead to punch him but Ricky held him from behind.
"Get the fuck out Dwane, you are not welcomed here." Even Ricky was losing his patience.
The way they reacted was exactly what Dwane desired for,
'So much easier than dealing with Miss Ford' he thought.
"You gave me your word brother, that you'll find Michelle for me to kill. You tracked her almost untraceable phone and told me everything about her whereabouts, but we were outwitted by that Vixen" Dwane smirked
"Your dear wife fed false Intel to you on purpose" Dwane smirked, "nonetheless you did help me."
Ricky was utterly shocked,
"Is that true?" He asked Alec.
Alec could only lower his head in guilt.
"My bad!" Dwane faked his regret.
"I wasn't supposed to inform Ricky and your wife, those were your conditions to help me."
Ricky eyed Alec with disappointment.
"How forgetful am I, I told both of them." Dwane said.
"What did you tell her?" Alec fumed as he held his collar, He felt horrified at the revelation.
However, Dwane remained undisturbed with his actions,
"Almost everything." He said casually.
"What?"
"The way you helped me now and what you said four years ago."
They remained in the same position for few more second before Dwane continued,
"I'll Drag her by her Hair and Throw Her on your Feet."
Dwane elaborated each word. Both Alec and Ricky felt appalled at Alec for saying it.
"You said these words, didn't you?" Dwane maintained a calm yet menacing expression. Alec was stupefied, unable to react any further.
To avoid any more conflicts, Ricky held Dwane's arm and dragged him out.
"Haven't you caused enough trouble for the both of them? Stay away from her Dwane, or I'll be the worst person you've ever met." Ricky threatened him unlike his usual nature and pushed him out.
'Why is he so concerned?' Dwane rolled his eyes and walked towards his car.
He took his seat and dialled a number, "You took the picture?"
"Yes," The woman on the other side replied.
"Good," Dwane said and hung up.
'Miss. Ford, Don't forget to check the news tomorrow. You might find it enlightening given how delusional you are.' he texted Michelle as an evil smile appeared on his face which soon faded seconds later.
Dwane tried hard to remain calm, even though his meeting with Alec went just as he planned he couldn't bring himself to completely enjoy it. He repeatedly told himself 'this is what I wanted.' Yet the turmoil within him refused to subside.
"Did you find her?" He asked Tom.
Tom was taken aback by his question. He knew whom Dwane was talking about.
But finding his mystery girl was next to impossible.
"Not yet." Tom replied dejectedly.
Both Tom and Ben had long lost the hope of finding her. They only had a name and description of her face. But Dwane still held onto the hope of seeing her again. Only the short-lived memories with her could make him feel at peace.
