There was pain and fear in El's eyes, the fear of losing him made her feel crestfallen.
Alec looked into her eyes "I won't leave you, ever" he said and tried to unclutch her hand on his shirt.
He made her have her breakfast when he sat by her side. There was a knock on their door, it was Ben.
"I'll be back" he reluctantly said but El was holding his hands tightly. He looked at her
"I'm not leaving you Love, I'll be back in a minute. Alright?"
El looked down, unwilling to agree. He slowly undid her grip on his hand and reluctantly left.
Michelle laid on her bed anxiously. The contents of the mail repeatedly flashed in her mind and the fear of losing Alec terrified her. Out of distress, she called Mark.
"Did you find anything about the sender?"
"It's untraceable. Do you remember someone who called you little Mish?"
Michelle's face fell, "I don't remember," she said dejectedly.
"The person knew you as Michelle and now knows you as El. I'll try to find out more, in the meantime it's safe to do as he said, that was our plan all along nonetheless."
"What do you mean?" Michelle asked
"Don't tell anyone about your true identity." Mark said firmly leaving Michelle perplexed.
Meanwhile, Alec stepped out from his study after attending a call. Carolyn approached him,
"Stop being so blind Al, the Millers are at our throat because you rejected their marriage proposal with Kaitlyn. There is still time to rectify your mistake."
"My mistake?" Alec seethed.
"You knew I was married yet you arranged for this ludicrous proposal. The repercussions we are facing is your fault not mine. Besides, I'll have everything settled soon."
"How?" Carolyn asked with confusion. Being well aware of ongoing business circumstances she knew Alec couldn't settle it by himself.
"Daniel Ford has agreed to help me with it."
Carolyn was stunned to know this.
"Why would Daniel Ford agree to help you? What's in it for him?"
Alec ignored her question,
"Everything will be back to normal soon, but please don't get involved with the Millers henceforth." He said and walked upstairs.
Seeing that her plan to make Alec agree for the marriage was ruined she made her way out and wondered why Daniel Ford would help Alec.
Alec stayed in his room and attended his work from there while El napped.
Soon enough, El opened her eyes, seeing her awake Alec walked towards the bed "How are you feeling now?"
"Better," she replied.
He was leaning closer when they heard a knock on their door.
It was Ben again, "Sir, Mr. Gracia wants to talk to you."
"I don't waste my time on liars" he fumed.
El stiffened at his words.
"I don't want liars like him around me. Have someone investigate on his team as well."
"Alec Wilson does not tolerate liars. Make sure everyone knows this" he snarled.
Slowly a devilish smile appeared on his face, "You know what to do" he said to Ben.
Ben nodded and left. El swallowed in terror hearing his words.
"What are you going to do?" El asked in a low and fearful voice.
"Don't worry about it" he smiled and kissed her forehead.
El's heart was pounding remembering his sudden anger towards a person who lied.
'Will he abandon me too if I tell him the truth or will it be something more worse' Michelle trembled at the thought.
Once again she spent the whole day thinking about the mail and the consequences if the truth comes out. She was so habituated with being El that one major factor slipped her mind. A factor that she would have to deal with soon.
That night when El was lying, Alec wrapped his hand around her waist from behind and circled his hand on her belly, "I've read that this helps."
He said in a seductive voice. 'Does he intentionally do it or is his voice naturally this seductive?' El helplessly wondered. However, his warmth was indeep helping her relax.
The rest of the week passed in an uneventful way. Alec tried to get intimate with El but she asked him to wait for some more time, he found his patience running thin with every passing day.
El did the same thing with her grandma as well, when she asked if she had told him the truth or not. She asked her to wait.
The awaiting and the lies were burdening Michelle and yet she had to carry through, because lies felt easier than the consequences of truth.
During the weekend, El and Alec were having their breakfast,
"My cousin Angelica is currently staying at Wilson's Mansion. I invited her here today for dinner." Alec said.
"Okay" El nodded.
That evening, Angelica arrived early with her husband and their little infant. El welcomed them.
"Alec didn't tell me you had this little angel coming with you." El said, making cute faces at little Janet.
She asked Angelica if she could hold Janet. She carefully held her in her arms
"Alec look, she is so adorable!" Her voice was full of love lifting the atmosphere of the villa.
The whole evening El carried the baby in her arms cradling her, talking and singing to her.
She held little Janet in the snuggling hold close to her heart as she bounced her slightly.
Alec stood close to her looking at her ethereal facial expression.
"She is so adorable, I want to keep her always with me." She could feel her heart melt everytime she looked at the baby.
"Looks like you really like babies," Alec said.
She nodded with glee and said "I want one." In a sweet childlike voice.
"I hope you know how babies are made." Alec teased her.
"I didn't mean it literally, but one day, sure. When the time is right."
"How about we make one now." Alec seductively whispered in her ear.
El's face turned red. Looking at her blush, he kissed her irresistible red cheek.
"How many of these would you want?" He asked, gently touching the baby's face.
"Two"
"How about three?" Alec asked.
She looked deep in his eyes and said "Even if you give me a dozen kids, I'll shower them with all the love and happiness in this world."
"A dozen kids it is then" Alec replied as they both chuckled at his words.
