"Leyla come on".Brii called out from the door.It was time for the meeting,twice in a week . Nikki's faction is also two times a week but on different days.No one is allowed to eavesdrop or peep on the opposite faction's matters
That is the first and only rule we abide by
"settle down please".Leyla said,she is the head with Brii as her assistant and treasurer
"Someone's feeling nice".Brii says as she sits next to Leyla
"You made the same comment this morning".Leyla replies, fetching her notebook from her bag
"To think, eight periods went by and you're still this cheerful"
"Wow".Brii praised, obviously pleased at Leyla's new development
"Never judge a book by its cover".Leyla says stroking her chin
"whatever".Brii says and they both laugh
"First agenda of the day is--".Leyla starts off but is soon cut off by
"maximus".One of the girl says and the rest nods in agreement
"What do you think of him?.Another girl asks,the girls were pumped up for this,some were commenting on how cute he is
"Well,he has no ulterior motive but he seems to be hiding something".I conclude,that's all I have about him
"Yay".A bunch of girls giggle and they resume talks on how cute he is which for some reason makes Leyla's blood boil
The rest of the meeting were just random matters that needed to be taken care of and the meeting was adjourned
"come on".Leyla urged Brii up as she stretched
"That took a lot out of me ".Brii commented as they all left the classroom.Her job was the hardest of all,the group seldomly deals with money so what she does most is writing,A lot of writing.So you could also call her a secretary
"Yeah me too".Leyla replied as they were walking home.Silence reigned for a few minutes before Brii broke it
"Won't you tell me about your boyfriend".Brii smirked
Leyla could feel her cheeks getting red and she swiftly covered them with her hands
"I don't know what you're talking about".Leyla said, uncertainty laced in her tone
"Don't lie...I'm your best friend".Brii said with that smirk still on her face
"Fine".Leyla said, letting out a sigh
"It's maximus".she said meekly
"Oh,I knew it".Brii squealed wrapping her arms around Leyla's neck
"You knew nothing".Leyla chuckled
"Oh yeah I did and I also saw the frown on your face when the girls talked about him".Brii commented earning a surprised reaction from Leyla
"How did you..?".Leyla asked
"How did I know?".Brii completed her question
"Well".she started, stroking her chin.They were almost at brii's house the blue and cream painted house looked bigger with every step they took
"I noticed the frown on your face when they started talking about maximus and I have ears".Brii explained
