"Why are you so happy?".I asked as we got to her bedroom door
"cos I don't think I'll have nightmares".she said stepping into her room
"oh,why do you think so".I said, following her
"I don't know".she said,jumping on her bed.
"Ok".I said, following whatever she says
"Tuck me in".she ordered
"ehm,what does that mean?".I asked,staring at her amusedly
she let out a sigh and started
"It means draw the covers up to my neck,turn off the light and say goodnight".she said still staring at me
"oh ok".I said doing exactly what she said
"is this ok?".I said before I turned the lights
"yep".she replied.Then I turned off the light and headed for the door.I placed my hand on the door knob then
"you forgot one thing".she said,glaring daggers at my back
"Goodnight".I chuckle
"Hmmph".she lay down back as I left the room

Assignments done
Dishes done
Teeth brushed
Bath taken
I jump on my bed and imagine the day I would have tomorrow.Hopefully,with him

"Leyla!".Joyce, Leyla's mum yells at the bottom of the stairs to get Leyla out of bed.It was 7:20am and she was supposed to get up by 7
"Leyla,honey you're gonna be late for school!".Joyce says walking up the stairs
"Let me sleep some more".Leyla shouts from her room groggily
"No,out of your room in five minutes or no cupcakes".Joyce says outside Leyla's bedroom door.Leyla was instantly awake after that last sentence
Minutes later,Leyla trudged downstairs fixing her hair and holding her shoes on her hand
"I'm sorry".Leyla says smiling cheekily at her mom
"whatever" Joyce said after releasing a sigh
"I packed your lunch".Joyce says holding out the lunch in front of her
"Thanks mum".Leyla says closing the door behind her
She walked rather slowly to brii's but immediately the thought of her brother Bry sent her almost running
She couldn't tell what was wrong with her.She was sure she wasn't in love with him.That phase is long gone
so what was it ?
Well she wasn't ready to find out,so all she had to do was to come pick Brii up very early before Bry wakes up
Leyla knocks on the door quickly adjusting her hair for that tiny chance it isn't Brii who opens the door
"Hey".Brii greeted as she steps out
"oh hey".she said not able to mask the disappointment in her tone
"did I miss something or....?".Brii said noticing the slumped shoulders
"This is all your fault".Leyla said stopping to point her finger at her
"oh yeah.How?".
"Why did you have to bring him back into my life".Leyla said walking ahead of Brii
"It wasn't my fault,It's not my fault you have a crush on him".Brii commented trying to catch up
