~Gasp~
Ian gasped frenzely as he opened his eyes and started scouting his surroundings.
"Did it work ?" Ian mumbled as he kept ruffling his head, as he felt a slight headache and pain throughout his entire body, something that he has never felt or experienced during millions of years in his life.
"I see, this is definitely my world and looking at how everything around me is still alive and intact I have definitely arrived in the past." he murmured as he noticed the still clear and vivid sky, and lively trees with few birds chirping merrily on it, instead of desolate land and sky filled with miasma.
Ian clenched his fist slightly 'I have to make sure this stays the same, even if I have to sacrifice my life for it ' he made a promise to himself.
"Cassian thanks for giving me another chance" Ian recalled his old friend who made all of this possible.
"I can't believe he embedded an entire Draconian 'Time Reversal Magic' inside that black box."
Ian can't help but shake his head at the the thought of how dangerous of a path his friend has taken for the sake of his world.
Manipulation with the flow of time is one of the biggest if not the biggest taboo in the Heavenly planes. If Ian even tried to do something like that he would have turned to dust almost instantly by the heavenly laws.
Even if he tried any indirect means, his death would have been certain, that's how strict the laws of heaven's are, but fortunately this current incident was Cassian's doing, on his own violation.
"That's why he never told me what was the exact purpose of that black box" Ian murmured, while admiring how much of an effort his old friend has put on this plan of his.
If Ian knew what the box could do, he wouldn't have been able to escape from getting punished, but thankfully his unawareness helped him lighten his sentence.
"Jeez, I don't know whether I should laugh or cry, being thrown out of nowhere, while getting all of my power's snatched away, and this is considered a lighter sentence."
Ian could only lament his complaints about how ruthless the heavenly laws really is, as there was no one there to listen to him.
"No let's not waste time on this, I have a certain goal, first and formost I need information.
Ian had absolutely no idea, what time period he is currently in right now , so first he needs to collect all the viable information and come up with a most probable plan to save his world.
Ian quickly started scouting his surroundings, but all Ian could gather was that he was in the middle of a forest.
A conclusion that even a five year old could come up with, he sat down in the nearby tree with a dispirited look on his face.
"This isn't exactly my strong suit, just how the hell am I supposed to investigate, when I have never done anything like that before." Ian murmured.
When Ian was still a god all it took was a flick of his finger to gather all the information around him, but now without any means or help he felt a complete loss.
It's similar to asking a human to learn how to walk with their hands, despite him having a well functioning leg.
Ian took a deep breath to calm all the jumbled thoughts in his head, and began slowly started analysing his surroundings and process his thinking while taking a decent amount of time.
After several minutes, Ian started processing every bit of information he could gather one by one.
"Alright I am in the middle of some unknown forest , and based on climate, temperature and region, I must be somewhere around the Eastern part of the Continent."
As a creator of this world, Ian was obviously familiar with the geographical aspects of the Continent, as he could roughly conclude where he was based on that knowledge.
Soon Ian's gaze went towards a huge crater with multiple cracks in the ground, that was the place Ian was lying a few minutes ago before he regained his counciousness.
That crater was the result of him being thrown here by the heavenly laws, resulting a huge pit in the ground with about a meter long in length and depth.
"Can't you be a little more gentle heavenly laws." Ian said sarcastically.
As he was lost in his thoughts, contemplating about how to get out of this unfamiliar forest, he heard a sudden galloping and rattling sound charging towards his direction.
"Someone's coming here, maybe I could request them for help."
Ian's ears suddenly percked up as he gazed at the direction the sound was coming from, with a slight glimmer of hope in his eyes.
Soon a blue carriage with a distinct symbol appeared and stopped right in front of Ian.
Three highly armoured magic swordsman with silver coloured armour and a blue cape with the insignia similar jumped out of the carriage.
They vigilantly surrounded the entire carriage as if they were protecting something very precious inside it. After making sure there was no threat around them, They soon started scouting and inspecting the huge crater that was left behind in ground, while completely ignoring Ian.
Ian didn't disturb them as he was busy contemplating on how to request them for help, cause it would be quiet odd not to suspect the intentions of a stranger they found in the middle of nowhere.
Although he felt that was quiet unnecessary, as the owner of the carriage seemed like an highly ranked person and is well guarded, as even the weakest among the three Knight's in front of him is atleast a 'Third Circle Magic Swordsman', There would be no need for him to be that vigilant towards a complete stranger like Ian.
After doing a thorough check, one of the Knight's went near the carriage and whispered in a low voice.
"Young Master there's nothing in here except around a meter deep empty pit and a strange black cat." Knight answered with a respectful tone.
"In my opinion it was most probably some random Magician passing by while experimenting with his spells."
As Ian was listening to their entire conversation, he slightly nodded his head. ' That's the most logical conclusion one can reach '
But Ian couldn't exactly correct the Knight, by saying ' No, that was the result of me being thrown by the heavenly laws from the heavenly planes. '
'Wait!, a strange black cat , I didn't notice anything like that ' Ian thought as he looked around him, but still couldn't find any traces of that fore mentioned cat.
'I should just ask that Knight' Ian thought and waited for the Knight to finish his conversation with his master.
"Shut up, you useless imbeciles, Excuses after excuses, Whatever it may be if we had arrived a bit earlier this wouldn't have happened" A young and angry voice came from the inside of the carriage. The voice paused for a second as if it was contemplating something before continuing "Bring that black cat to me."
Hearing the tone of the owner of the carriage, the very thought of requesting help was discarded from Ian's mind.
After living for a millinea he could roughly judge the character of a person by way of their speach. He could say he has seen all kinds of people ,from extremely stubborn ones to ridiculously naive.
He could tell that the owner of this voice was amongst the worst of the worst kind , 'the extreme narcissists ones'.
'I think I should stay away from him as much as possible, even if I have to stay here for few more days.' These sudden thought process of Ian was suddenly interrupted as felt like he was being through his nape.
Soon he found himself being carried by one of the Knight's, as if he was some rag doll.
'What the hell is this' Ian came to a frightening conclusion.
'Don't tell me that strange black cat they were talking about is me.'
'Aren't you being a bit too mercilessly Heavenly laws ' Ian lamented inwardly while he was being drag inside the carriage.
