One week later
Ziyou stays strapped to the wall but his fingers and toes were missing, he was almost bald as all of his hair had been forcefully ripped off his head, and his arms and legs were missing skin as it had been pealed off.
Ziyou hung there lifeless and emotionless as he hadn't been fed or given water this entire week but he had no understanding of the time since he was in this dark room with not a ray of sunshine.
The door opened and the fat man walked in but Ziyou still hung there lifeless. The fat man looks at Ziyou's disheveled self and says "this is how the world works boy you cannot mess with true power."
Ziyou looks up for the first time in three days and says "kill me." The fat man looks annoyingly at him and walks towards him. He takes out his knife "I haven't had all my fun with you yet." The fat man laughs as a frenzied look is revealed on his face.
Ziyou looks back down with his emotionless stare. The fat man begins to slowly cut Ziyou open but Ziyou had enough and after one tear dropped from his eye, his loving mother passed through his memory, and when she had faded he bit off his tongue and died.
After Ziyou had died he was transformed into a massless state, an orb of sorts, and lay at rest. But suddenly Ziyou was transferred to a large domain where nothing but darkness existed.
A tall figure who was so tall that all Ziyou could see was his toe suddenly spoke "Human, I have chosen you to represent me in the mortal world as my apostle."
But to the tall figure's surprise, Ziyou with an emotionless stare said "Shut the hell up, all I want to do is rest."
The tall figure spoke with a threatening tone "do you dare defy me human? You are nothing more than an ant who I could squash whenever I see fit."
"Then why haven't you, all I want to do is stay dead," said Ziyou while glaring at the large entity in front of him. The tall figure suddenly laughs and says "I knew I had chosen right."
The figure shrinks down to the size of a regular human and grants Ziyou his human form again. "Human the reason you are not dead is that we gods only get to choose one apostle every million or so years and I am very bored right now so you are my only entertainment."
Ziyou stares at this so-called "god" emotionlessly and says I could care less if you were a god or my grandmother just kill me already. The god stares back at Ziyou and asks him a question "why did you die human".
As if he were forced to answer Ziyou says "because I am weak, I couldn't protect my mother and I couldn't even protect myself." Ziyou notices the trance the god had put him in and says "I don't want to live anymore so send me back from where you got me."
The god smiles and says " That is simply not possible, once an apostle is chosen they cannot be returned to the land of the dead."
Ziyou stares at the god with hatred and says "why in the hell would you do that now I can't even rest in peace."
Without being phased by what Ziyou just said the god asked him another question "what do you desire human?"
And like before Ziyou was put in another trance and said "power". The god laughs again and says what if I can give that power. This had piqued Ziyou's interest and he started to listen.
Human as my apostle you would start from the beginning but have many advantages over the others in the world you will be sent to.
Ziyou asked the god curiously "what exactly are you the god of?" The god smiled and says "I am the god of evil." Ziyou looked at this evil god skeptically.
As if sensing Ziyou's doubts the evil god explains " there are a total of 6 gods and we are all of equal power, me the god of evil encompasses anything and all related to the subject of evil such as darkness, death, war, chaos, so on and so forth. The other gods rule their own domains such as the god of space or the god of time."
Ziyou stared at the evil god with an odd expression "so do these gods rule the earth?" The god responded "no we do not rule earth but we rule the planet called "Varena and Varena is approximately 5 times the size of your earth and has mana as well which your earth lacks."
Ziyou thought about his younger self (When I was around 15 years of age I dabbled in reading novels and some of my favorites were of reincarnation and I believe that is what is happening to me.)
The god of evil looks at Ziyou with an excited expression and says "my favorite part is coming up. It's time for you to choose your race and your three skills."
"My three skills?" asked Ziyou in an inquisitive tone. "Yes, the three skills that will aid you and be your greatest source of power throughout your life."
