"Since I am the god of evil I may only grant you a choice between three inherently evil races. Your options are humans, the undead, and demons. These races have inherent skills that will be revealed when you reach Varena."
After many hours of careful consideration, Ziyou chose undead. Ziyou's thought process was that humans in most novels and fantasy stories were inherently weak and had a hard time developing magical abilities. Demons were tempting but it would limit his ability if he were tied to some realm or faction that demons were in by birth or something.
The god looks at Ziyou with surprise since no one had chosen undead since many thought of them as disgusting creatures.
"Now it is time to choose your three divine skills this is very important and crucial to your future in Varena so choose wisely." Spoke the evil god.
Suddenly many flying texts appeared that showed different abilities that he could choose from. After careful consideration for many hours, Ziyou brought the hundreds of abilities down to 5 choices. Of these were grand sage, elemental law manipulation, divine absorption, skill creator, and future sight.
He lowered the skills to what he thought were the most useful but after many more hours of consideration, he chose, grand sage, divine absorption, and skill creator. Elemental law manipulation grants its user the ability to manipulate all elements and made it easier to master them in their respective fields. Future sight allowed one to see 2 seconds in the future when in a battle. Both these skills were extremely powerful but compared to the other three skills they simply just couldn't make the cut.
Grand sage granted what was essentially a system that was not as op as some from novels but was still immensely useful. Divine absorption essentially granted one unlimited skills and abilities because whenever you kill a foe you can absorb their abilities and inherent bloodline. And skill creators allowed one to merge abilities and make them stronger.
After Ziyou chose all of his abilities the god of evil began to speak " As you know gods are usually worshipped but since im the god of evil I get no such worship so if people find out that you are my apostle it will most likely spell your doom."
"Is that the real reason you summoned me so I would create a faction for you?" Asked Ziyou. The evil god responds with "No, I have already tried that, and no matter how enticing I make it no one wants to join my faction be it demons or undead."
The evil god starts talking again and says "as you most likely know all the other gods have apostles as well and I am not received well by their factions or apostles so you will have to be summoned somewhere remote and out of the detection of these factions and apostles."
"One more thing. I am granting you the ability to understand most languages of the world to make it a bit easier." said the evil god.
Since his mother died Ziyou hasn't felt much when it came to excitement or joy but for the first time in 10 years he felt excited for what was to come."
"One last thing," the evil gods said.
"I thought you already said your last thing," says Ziyou.
The evil god says "Well one more one last thing, when you are reincarnated you will already be a full-grown undead which means you will not have to be a 20-year-old man living in a child's body."
Ziyou wipes his head and says "phew, dodged a bullet on that one."
The evil god snaps his finger and a portal appears right next to Ziyou's body, and right before he enters the evil god says his third one last thing "I will be watching you but I cannot interfere or speak with you so from now on you are on your own, see you later."
And just a second later Ziyou appears in a forest completely naked and with no civilization in sight. But his body is very different than what it was before because now he was only bones with a floating ball inside his chest.
Suddenly, Ziyou had an Idea and he spoke in his mind (grand sage show me my stats).
And suddenly Ziyou saw a list of his stats.

Ziyou was thoroughly shocked by how overpowered he already was. But suddenly heard some noises from a nearby bush and he saw a wolf jump out.
This was Ziyou's first battle. But then he thought of something, he doesn't have any attacking skills.
