The usual blue holographic screen appeared before him, notifying him.
Kanzen expression immediately brightened up.
He began scrolling on the blue screen reading through the details of the Quest excited about the rewards he will receive.
"Big sis Tina, isn't the system exaggerating when it comes to the ranking of the quest, it wasn't even that hard."
[*Sigh* You should be happy, it only means that you surpassed the expectation of the system. Even if the system possessed a form of omniscience, it didn't account for your growth in assessing the situation, it's based on your previous power at the time the Quest is given. You've grown-up too much in less than a month just after you receive the quest, as a result, the supposed rank-SSS quest difficulty turned into a quest between A and S for you]
"I understand, thanks big sis Tina."
…
After the demoness ditched him, Kanzen decided to head straight to the injured goblin king, the guy tried doing everything to fight back but in his pointless endeavor he couldn't even touch a hair of him.
He instead began cursing him to no end, annoyed by the goblin king's struggles Kanzen didn't bother giving the guy the same luxury he gave Jenny.
Kanzen used his [Prime Predator] and [Purification Field] at the same time to the goblin king, letting him experience the same overbearing pain and struggle the first goblin he accidentally killed experience.
Feeling satisfied Kanzen cut the goblin king into pieces before finally ending his dear life, while he didn't really like torturing enemies, it didn't mean he wouldn't resort to such vicious means.
Moreover, if such enemies like doing the same things to the innocent, he wouldn't mind letting such people experience the very thing they like the most.
He could still recall the state of kidnapped people under the dungeon below the now fallen goblin empire.
Unlike the goblin king, who has a complete dark nature embodying evil and other malicious concepts the goblin queen has a balance one that is gray.
…
The same time Kanzen2.0 was dealing with the goblin king, his main body created a massive magic circle encompassing the entire vicinity of the goblin empire, its purpose is to mark and track every surviving goblin that hadn't been caught by his [Sovereign's Domain] isolation realm.
He deemed that letting a single one of them escape might cause disastrous consequences on the nearby villages and cities because each surviving goblin is an evolved one possessing power around a level 3 to 4 adventurers. For villages and small size cities, a single one of such powerhouses is enough to cause a massacre.
Currently, Kanzen didn't really have time to deal with the scattering goblins as his main priority is to free the kidnapped people being held under the city. Furthermore, while it might not be obvious on the outside, the truth of the matter is that Kanzen is extremely exhausted in magical, spiritual, and mental faculties.
This exhaustion affected both of his bodies as he has yet to truly master his [Mirror Character] ability.
…
His main body appeared before a pathway, he walked down the somewhat high and wide passageway leading straight to the dungeon below.
The stone floor seems to have been built to amplify the sound of his every step, and at times he could even hear echoes.
This design seems to have been purposely built to influence the mind of the dungeon prisoners creating an eerie illusion that could cause someone to feel intimidated.
He continued his descent to the dungeon, the path offered a line of flickering torches, that highlighted the eeriness of the tunnel.
Bathed by the light of several torches, his visage cast over several shadows at once, giving a strange vibe of multiple people being present at the same time.
Reaching a corridor, Kanzen's nose perked up, the terribly strong scent of blood and rotten corpses permeated his sense of smell.
His eyes glinted coldly as his vision bypassed the darkness, now having a clear, bright view of the previous dark tunnel.
He arrived at the first prison cell, there he saw the unsightly state of a young human man who seems to have lost four of his limbs, clearly being cut on purpose.
Kanzen didn't show any drastic reaction to the sight before him, he had seen far worse back in his days in Starlight.
He just silently withdrew the [Blooming Blood Sakura] from his inventory, unsheathing the sword before promptly sending a barrage of clean strikes that flash every so often to every prison cell presented before him.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Every prison cell in the corridor was opened wide freeing the confined prisoners.
Out of the ten prison cells, only the first one he stumbled upon has a single person present.
The following prison cells held more than ten people each, mostly women and children.
"Thank you, thank you very much…" A woman clad in a thorn rag cloth prostrated deeply to the ground as she continuously thanked him.
She's clearly of eastern descent.
Her action seems to have sparked something as every surviving people he had saved began following her lead prostrating low thanking him wholeheartedly.
"You're welcome, you should be ok for now I will provide you guys with sufficient supplies and equipment to live."
This is the only thing Kanzen could come up with to solve their problems, he couldn't just babysit them all their lives, they need to do their best hereafter to live in this cruel world.
Before leading the group outside Kanzen healed everyone, even the person who lost his limbs, he was restored back to his peak state.
Most of the survivors were also inflicted with different types of diseases that resulted in their bodies slow deterioration.
To solve this problem he bought dozens of high-grade healing and regeneration potions to be used by the survivors.
Seeing the effort he has been doing for them the surviving group couldn't help but felt ashamed taking advantage of a young boy's kindness.
They still couldn't believe the reality before their eyes, they had already lost their will to live before, now that they were freed they don't know what to do.
However, what surprised them the most was the fact that Kanzen a child clearly under ten single-handedly destroyed an entire empire of powerful goblins.
The moment this realization dawned upon them, they couldn't help but look at the kid in a different light.
For someone so young to possess such power, he must have worked so hard to reach this point, they couldn't fathom the effort he must put in order to grow stronger.
In their eyes Kanzen is like a tiny star, still small but bright enough to illuminate their lives.
