Chapter 23 - Aftermath 4

"Big sis Tina, what's going on? There's a new system function."

Kanzen asked, awaiting Tina's response.

Sebastian, blocking his front, taking charge of the frontline against the group of hungry women.

[Changes happened inside me, new functions kept on popping out, it looks like this is only the beginning. I have yet to understand the functions and purpose of the <> point function, for now, allow me to explain to you the uses of the <> function] Tina said a bit dejected for not being able to complete the task she took. She quickly moved on as she then began to explain the function of the Favorability system.

[The <> allows you to see a detailed perception of someone you touch, by being in contact with another you can see a quantitative value and explanation of how they view you]

Hearing the explanation the hopeful look was replaced by a disappointed one.

"Eh, isn't this useless, I already possessed such ability because of my <> allowing me to see through another thoughts, nature, and other related things."

[Let me first finish you excited naughty boy]

Tina teasingly said.

"Huh, when did I become a naughty boy?"

[Um,<> is a special system that allows you not just to see another person's perspective of you, it also grants you the ability to manifest special objects based on that person's perspective of you, These items include customized weapons and items, it can also be consumables or a treasure. Moreover, this special objects are things that can be of great help to the other party, and to you, it is like having their deepest desire that they themselves didn't know granted unconditionally after they reached a certain quantitative percentage of favorability. Unfortunately, this function only applies for positive perspective and doesn't seem to work to enemies."

"It sounded like a god granting their most devote worshipers special items that they greatly desire, doesn't it." Kanzen asked, his expression deadpan, not hearing a reply from Tina for almost a minute, Kanzen confirmed that he had hit the nail there.

"Is this system clearly been born out of the worship I received from the survivors didn't it~"

[You are right it is likely to be the truth]

For him to unlock system functions he needs to fulfill certain requirements, Tina deduces that the tiny worship the survivors are giving him is the reason for the manifestation of this system function.

"*Sigh* this ain't funny at all, I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry just to how ridiculous this is."

[Just accept it dumbass, worrying too much wouldn't bring you any good, this is a beneficial system you idiot]

Tina reprimanded Kanzen.

"Your right big sis Tina."

He couldn't really argue back to his big sis, Tina.

He could only accept what's given.

[You worry too much, either way this a good chance to start things early, you'll be a god in the future anyway after you achieve Tier 6 so worrying too much isn't really beneficial.

This might even be a chance for you to build up an organization early on, this world is too dangerous, having a group that follows you beck and call and can be trusted will be a good way to slowly establish your power.

Remember the more, the merrier]

Tina suggested finding her suggestions good for once.

"Building an organization of my own, huh? Hmm! It sounded pretty troublesome.

I don't have the time to manage my people.

I don't like staying all day in a room reading and signing papers."

He reasoned, clearly evading Tina's suggestion for some reason.

Kanzen imagined being a manager sitting all day doing paperwork's, and it made him shiver more than when he fought an entire army of monsters.

[You're already worried about paper works when you have yet to build an organization, are you dumb or not, where's did the genius one had gone though, don't tell me did your brain cells abandoned you]

"Big sis Tina, that's rude of you."

[Yeah I am being rude it's because you were overthinking too much have you forgot the function of the <> can't you used that big brain of yours and tried finding a solution in the shop]

"But building an organization, ok-ok, I get it, I will do it."

Kanzen couldn't help but let out a deep *sigh* of frustration, in truth he is just being stubborn trying to make excuses as he didn't really want to create or join an organization.

Building an organization isn't really a disadvantage, it could even be of great help and support as he grows stronger and stronger.

It's just that he have yet to completely overcome his trauma when it comes to groups of people.

Tina knowing this wanted to quickly get rid of his unnecessary worries early on, even going as far as breaking her own rules of not interfering in his decisions and affairs.

Kanzen being betrayed in his past life and becoming an artificially modified human is due to the organization he and his friends had built.

This is the real reason why he didn't really like joining or creating such groups, he is subconsciously denying such notion, afraid of being betrayed again just for some benefits and temptations.

"Sebastian, it's ok, you don't need to be so worked up, they're just teasing me." Kanzen, being shielded by Sebastian from the hungry horde of women gently tapped the man's back, assuring him.

"But young sir, such behavior." Sebastian wanted to argue.

"I am neither your lord nor your master, so worrying too much about my well-being isn't really your duty."

Hearing Kanzen's response, Sebastian could only downheartedly step aside.

He forgot that he isn't a butler anymore, but a simple wandering homeless man.

"You're overthinking too much, if you badly wanted to you can become my personal butler, then at that point you can serve and protect me as you like." Kanzen telepathically said to Sebastian, surprising the fella in the process, but after grasping the words that were directed in his brain, Sebastian couldn't help but kneel in tears.

Seeing the man's reaction, Kanzen could only shrug embarrassed, he knew there were those people that preferred to served someone than living their lives.

He had encountered too many of such personage in his previous life that he wasn't too surprised by Sebastian's attitude.

Sebastian reminded Kanzen of a certain man who had served him ever since he saved him from being eaten by a monster, this man has a quite similar name to Sebastian, that's why he took a liking to the fella.

The person's name Is Sebas, he died in his previous life trying to buy time for their group to escape, Kanzen could never forget the man as he is one of the only few who truly become his friend.

"Would you really accept someone like me, young sir?" Sebastian asked, his eyes a bit teary.

"Uiy sir Sebastian, an adult man shouldn't show such disgraceful display in front of the ladies."

Sebastian looked at his back, seeing more than a dozen women looking at their exchange confusion written in their faces, he couldn't help but quickly covered his face in embarrassment.

"Um, what's going on, young hero? Why is sir Sebastian crying like a child." Monica asked.

Kanzen just hid behind Sebastian when Monica approached, unable to come up with a proper response to her question. He felt his skin tingling as cold sweat run through his back.

It seems like earlier Intimate interaction left something behind.

Every time she's nearby, Kanzen instinctively moves aside trying to avoid her, she gave him the impression of a wide predator stalking its prey.

Noticing Kanzen's action, Sebastian immediately steps in, blocking Monica from approaching Kanzen further.

Receiving such response from the two, Monica couldn't help but squint her eyes in frustration, she quickly understood what's going on, Kanzen seems to have become cautions against her.

It seems like her straightforward action earlier traumatized him a bit.
