Chapter 16 - Overwhelming 3

Kanzen's disregard to the situation annoyed Tina a bit, but what could she do, it isn't like she wanted to dictate his every action. Tina could only sigh before returning her focus at the Goblin King and Queen that started waking up.

Kanzen in response just shrugged his head, embarrassed and ashamed towards his behavior. He knew how serious the matter had become, the indication of an unknown party being involved with the goblin king and queen is quite high.

The energy signature he got after analyzing the barrier surrounding the two is too shocking, this is the reason behind Tina's reaction.

The energy itself didn't belong to this world, or more specifically it didn't belong to this realm.

The energy is composed of a vicious and corrupted substance that could turn any normal being into a mad monster.

Even the goblin king and queen, being of a higher power isn't an exception to this energy's encroachment, it's just that instead of going mad they were able to convert this power, fully integrating with it becoming the very owner of the power.

The vicious and corrupted energy is demonic energy, an energy that came from the realm called <> the realm inhabited by no apart from but demons.

A land of endless slaughter and chaos, that Gods themselves synonymously avoided.

The paradise of Primordial God Tiamat, Principal God of Chaos and Destruction, the mother of all demons, one of the few known remaining Primordial gods.

"I never thought that the demon realm could have possessed the power to interfere with the mortal realm."

[First things first, Kanzen my little brother, the fictional Danmachi you knew and the Danmachi we are in are two entirely different realities.

The Danmachi anime you watched before is nothing but a fictional world created by an author.

The Danmachi we are in is the manifestation of that fictional world, brought into realization by the power of worship from its viewers.

This power of worship took the concept of fame as the basis to build the real Danmachi we are currently in. Just remember that relying too much on the knowledge you gain from watching the anime version is a no-go.

This clearly isn't similar to what was shown in the anime. There might even be instances where the other characters that were present in the anime didn't exist here in reality.

So, relying on the false knowledge of the anime is not good, better walking a different path than relying on the fictional one.

Bell Cranel and Ais Wallenstein might not even be the protagonists of this reality it can be someone else, there might even be time when a male character turned out to be female, or a female character turned out to be male]

Listening to Tina's somewhat troubling explanation, Kanzen's expression brightened up.

This response caught Tina off guard but after learning what was running through his mind due to their connection, Tina could only shrug the back of her head.

Instead of becoming dejected Kanzen's mood improved greatly, the truth of the matter he really didn't want to live in a fixed world where everything is set in stone like in the anime's, novels and manga he had read and watched.

Back in his peaceful normal life days Kanzen preferred reading every extra detail of the anime, manga, and novels he read on watch, trying to come up with topics like <>.

He enjoyed stories where the author writes <> scenarios, imagining things going on an unexpected route always makes his blood boil in excitement when he reads such concepts of the story.

Now that his big sis Tina had clarified that the reality they lived in now isn't the typical fix fictional reality anime written by an aspiring author, Kanzen's mind was assured greatly.

He didn't need to hold back now when taking things in his hands, the previous inhibitions he had in him before completely disappeared were replaced by a boiling excitement that was about to burst out.

Knowing what impact she had done in Kanzen just from those few words she relayed made Tina both anxious and happy.

She's anxious about what the future holds for them.

She's happy that Kanzen finally had decided to take things seriously.

She knew that the reason he always disregarded and treated things like a game is because he thought that the world is nothing but a fictional reality.

But now that she revealed the truth about the world, Tina began to regret not doing so earlier.

They could have avoided some troubling circumstances if she did reveal it sooner.

"Tina, thank you, I treated this world as nothing but a dream before, now that you cleared the worries clouding my mind, it felt like some chains binding me had loosened greatly."

Tina just nodded in response to Kanzen words, a beautiful smile present on her ever so cute face, she's currently in her astral body levitating about circling his main body.

Kanzen didn't take chances, the moment the demonic barrier around the goblin king diminished he leaped from his spot appearing beside the still dazed goblin king.

The tip of his sword [Blooming Blood Sakura] slashed straight to the goblin king's tight trying to immobilize the fella.

He decided to capture the man and interrogate him about the demonic barrier and energy beginning to emanate out of their bodies.

Sensing the incoming danger even in a somewhat chaotic state, the goblin king quickly reacted, using his massive battleaxe to block the incoming sword strike.

The two weapons collided creating a strong ripple in the air wave as both parties were thrown on opposite sides of the domain unable to repose to the sudden friction from the collision.

Not expecting the sudden strong force Kanzen could only *sigh* as the chance of ending the battle instantly slipped out.

His mindset thoroughly changed after Tina's revelation, the thing about having a good and fair battle still there in his mind, but instead of acting stubborn like before, Kanzen decided to end things quickly if he did possess the ability to do so.

"What's with that weapon, does it possess a knock-back ability of sort!"

Kanzen stopped his descent after slowing his momentum using a different altered version of [Sky Step] technique.

[Be careful, that weapon is a curse object, I don't know what kind of curse is infused on it but just from the almost unstoppable force earlier that doesn't seem to be a simple curse] Tina advice in concern, she took the role of analyzing Kanzen enemies trying to take advantage of his [Omniscient Genius] trait that she herself could access.

Tina and Kanzen is literally the same being, the only factor separating them as individuals is their independent ego's of their own.

So, Tina can literally access every ability that Kanzen possessed, she could even cast magic of her own.

The only downside to this is that they both possessed the same energy container, for every magic or spiritual action Tina did Kanzen reserves would decrease.

Either way Tina's existence is a cheat, and there's really no downside of having her assist him during battles.

She could even act as a surprise trump card of sorts if opportunity is given.

Back to the goblin king, the still daze fella was shot like a bullet in a speed that almost reached the sound barrier before smashing onto the ground 8 kilometers from his previous spot like a meteor.
