Finally, after a week, we had broom lessons. I was quite excited, as from childhood I had wanted to fly in the sky. It was like an addiction to me.
Even if uncle Snaped despised quidditch, he hadn't minded teaching me, and as such, I knew all the rules and was quite good at flying.
From the start, my flying skills were amazing. My father's talent for quidditch was passed on to me as well.
In the class, I exceeded the expectations of the teacher, Madam Hooches, and she even asked me if I wanted to play for the Slytherin team. It was surprising, as Madam Hooch was also the quidditch referee at Hogwarts and shouldn't be siding with me.
I accepted it because I had always wanted to play quidditch. At least I had something to do until the plot began.
I was originally accepted to the Slytherins team as a supditude for the seeker, as I was amazing at catching the snitch. My record time for catching the snitch was under 5 minutes.
With the time of 4 minutes and 33 seconds, I was finally allowed to be the seeker, as I was too much better than the current seeker, a fourth-year student, Terrance Higgins. His best time was only under 15 minutes; it was good by Hogwarts standards, but it couldn't even catch my shadow.

It was the beginning of November, and the first game of the season was happening. The game was Slytherin vs. Ravenclaw.
Ravenclaw was the weakest team in skill, and as such, I hadn't participated on the orders of the team captain, as he wanted me to be our secret weapon against Hufflepuffs and Gryffindor, who were much stronger.
The game ended with a score of 240/40.
The Slytherin had been in a 50-point lead when the old Slytherin seeker caught the snitch in the 15th minute. It was quite a good time, as he had set a new personal record and was quite close to the current record of Hogwarts, as it was 13 minutes.
He wasn't even the best catcher on our team, and he already made such a catch. The Gryffindor and Hufflepuff teams would be making counter tactics against the wrong person.
They knew that Septimus was the newest catch, or Slyhterin, as it was even declared in the newspapers, as I was the youngest seeker in Hogwarts history.
It was just that they didn't expect me to play, and even if I did, they didn't think that I would manage to catch the snitch before their seeker did.
The second game of the series had been between Hufflepuffs and Gryffindor, and in the end, Hufflepuffs had won the game easily as their seeker had caught the snitch, and they won with a score of 320/140.
If he hadn't caught the snitch, they would probably have lost.
The Gryffindor team was better overall, but they just didn't have any good players that could change the course of the game.
Meanwhile, the Hufflepuffs had Cedric Diggory, Zachrias Smith, and Ethan Humberstone, who were all great players.
It seems like the biggest competitor for the Slyhterin team this season was the Hufflepuffs, as the Gryffindor team had already lost one match and had no chance of making it into the finals.
The third game of the season was Ravenclaws against the Gryffindor team, which the Gryffindor team barely won with a score of 350/340. If not for the Ravenclaws seeker failing to catch the snitch multiple times due to an injury Ravenclaw would have won.
Ravenclaws seeker had somehow fallen face-flat on the ground after transfiguration class. Considering that he didn't even catch himself and the class was with Gryffindor it was no surprise how this had happened.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Ravenclaw had suffered brain damage and saw multiple snitches at the same time. Luckily with the wizards healing potions this problem could be solved in a few days.
It was the fourth game of the season, and it was time for Slyhterin to face off against the Hufflepuffs. In the meantime, Septimus had improved his catch speed even more, reaching the record of 3 and a half minutes in practise.

In the Slytherin training rooms
"You're up, Flash; just go do your thing and win this game." Said the captain of Slytherin's Quidditch team with a huge smile on his face.
The other members of the team also smiled as they thought that they had this season's win in the bag. After all, they had an amazing seeker this year who was 10 minutes faster than the school record.
It truly gave you the creeps, as he was at the level of those professional seekers, even though he was only 11 years old and had only started flying a few years ago.
I had even gained the nickname Flash from my teammates, as I was as fast as light. Sometimes people couldn't even see me because of my sheer speed while I was flying.
I could even perform the legendary movement called Flash. It was a movement invented by a Scottish quidditch player who could increase the speed of his broom by multiple times for a few seconds to reach the snitch.
The move was actually not hard to do; the hard thing was controlling the broom while doing it and catching the snitch at the same time.
"This is going to end in a flash,'
In the stadium, people were waiting for the game to start, and Madam Hooch called the teams to the field.
Immediately after I entered, loud screams could be heard of happiness, confusion, and displeasure.
"What is he doing here? Isn't he a newbie?'
"Why would the Slytherin captain let their substitute seeker play? Whatever is good for us, this game is going to be easier than we thought.'
"Boo, let Terrance Higgins play; with him, we will easily win. He is a lot better than this newbie and has recently improved his catching speed record by a whole 5 minutes; maybe he would make a new school record today."
At the mention of a new record, the Slytherin team only smiled, as their Hogwarts quidditch history was going to be made today.
