Reta or rather, the demon did not react to Justice 7's statement.
Instead, Reta held up his right arm. His entire figure looked like black scribbles in the influx of monstrous red chaos roaring.
Soon, the entire storm of Chaos, all the powers, all the red, all the thunder.
All of it.
All of it was absorbed into the right hand of Reta.
The space where the chaos storm had previously been, was now merely dirt on the ground. No signs of permafrost were present.
The only remaining red was that that engulfed Reta's demonic black figure.
And soon, very swiftly, an object formed. It was a spear. An entirely red spear.
Mysterious energy swirled around it. It had such a high chaos concentration that it vibrated tremendously within Reta's strong grip. That was its sheer deafening power.
Justice 7's shoulders tensed. The atmosphere felt like it had become so tense that one could break the sharpest knife if one tried to cut through it.
And as the wondrous spear manifestation finished, a distorted voice whispered. And with the whisper came rumbles through the snow.
"Ares."
Justice 7 cursed.
His figure explosively burst with unseen muscles that looked unnatural on the teenager-like figure of Justice 7.
"A-aa-a, an Original Force-Technique?"
Justice 7's figure instantly covered itself up with two hands. If he hadn't used his teleport previously, then it might've been off cooldown by now.
The scribble-like demonic figure of Reta drew the spear back. As the spear was pulled back, it felt like the entire snow sea was drawn with it. Reta and Justice 7 had one last moment of eye contact before Reta unleashed the new gungnir.
"Death."
And with that one word, the constantly reverberating spear blasted forwards.
And as it blasted forwards, the entire land of snow burst left, following its wake.
The snow powder couldn't even make contact with the ground as the deathly raging spear of war made contact with the cloth on Justice 7's arms.
Boom. Justice 7 held on as long as he could in the air.
Although initially blown back halfway to the ground by the initial collision, he was hovering strong. The spear attempted to pierce through his bulked and now veiny arms but couldn't.
For a short while.
Halfway to the ground, the spear burst through Justice 7's arms. And Ares pierced through his back.
Blood scathed the pure snow, glossing it in a flossy red.
As soon as Ares pierced Justice 7, Stage 2 Of Ares activated.
Boom. An internal explosion occurred within Justice 7. Justice 7's back scurried through the snow rapidly before rising once more briefly. The work of Ares.
Reta's eyes couldn't even follow what happened next. Just that geysers of snow blasted and burst all across the land.
A tremendous shockwave was sent through the air every time Ares blasted Justice 7 through the snow once more.
Ares was continuously self-exploding the chaos energy within Justice 7. And Justice 7 was stubbornly trying to reach for the stars, only to be blasted down by Ares again and again.
Justice 7's face was blank as he couldn't even react to all that was happening.
Huge pain entered Justice 7's system with every blast. The tremendous force of each self-implosion was so strong that Justice 7 couldn't even stick his feet into the ground as he was blasted backward against his control, time and time again.
It was only after around a minute, that the last of the snow tidal waves that had risen with Ares met the ground and that the constant snow geysers fell to the snow floor.
There was no longer a man in the sky.
Just a heavy panting and flimsy boy dunked in the snow.
In one instance, Reta traveled hundreds of meters and apparated right before Justice 7. Using the last of his chaos energy to see the death of his rival.
The Russian winds were tainted as Reta stood before Justice 7.
There was no longer a storm of red enshrouding Reta, just a small swarm of crackling black-red-chaos-thunder.
Reta's figure was that of his normal state.
Although he was slightly worse for wear, a small shroud of black scribbles still wrapped and clung to him snugly.
Reta was present for Justice 7's last moments.
Or at least he should have been.
Justice 7 was at his worst.
He was in a sit-up position as his blood seeped into the snow.
His perfect blue suit had been shredded. Parts of his pink skin were exposed all over.
His proud J symbol for justice had been torn right through by Ares.
Ares, which was still piercing through Justice 7.
Although it had lost most of its prior prowess, Justice 7 was unable to remove it from his being despite his two hands desperately pushing upwards.
His breaths were coarse and Justice 7 was underwhelmingly hyperventilating in fright.
His squashed hair had been eradicated in places, showing distasteful bald spots.
His rubber gloves seemed to be melting away as he tried to grip Ares but ultimately failed.
"Aah. Aah. Aah. Aah."
Justice 7 did not scream or shriek.
But his pained pants were all that was left.
Reta closed his eyes like a prayer.
He knew he wouldn't be able to beat Justice 7 even if he did go 100%.
Therefore, Reta decided to use his entire chaos manifestation at 100% in one go.
The effect was tremendous.
"Aargh. Haugh. Aagh."
The two met eyes.
Reta felt disgusted looking at a fallen god.
So Reta put on his demon mask, its lights had all stopped functioning but it still seemed to glow in the nighttime.
Probably some night-glow paint.
Justice 7 was near tears.
"I'll be here for your last moments. Do not fret."
Reta spoke stoically.
He loomed over Justice 7's figure.
"I'm sure you would've been here for me too."
Justice 7 barely wheezed a few coarse words through his suffering.
"D-d-d-d... do y-you. D-do you e-ever re-g-g-gret b-bullyin-g me? A-a-all th-those y-years a-ah-go."
One could hear tears on his breath.
Reta looked to the shining moon that ruled the night sky as he spoke like a lost man.
"If I didn't do what I did in the past."
"Then I wouldn't be the man I was today."
"But if I don't regret the past."
"Then I can't be a man at all."
Justice 7 looked in frail confusion.
Reta coughed.
"So... yes."
"I do regret doing those inhumane deeds to you."
"And I hope, you can find it in your heart. To save me a spot wherever you're going."
Reta sighed, taking in the cold fragrance of the Russian night.
It was the end of an Era.
He had ended the legacy of Justice.
There would be no Justice 8.
Just the corpse of the seventh.
Justice 7's pained pants became excruciatingly blatant and transparent.
It was time.
"Haugh. Haugh. Haugh. Haugh."
"Haa. Haa. Haa. Haa. Haa."
To end this sick joke.
"Ha. Ha. HA. HAA. HAA.HAHAHAHHAHHAH."
"S-AVE ME A S-POT?"
"HAAAAH."
Justice 7's voice became shrieks.
His laughter began boiling.
"Huuuhuuhuuhuu."
"Did you really think-?"
Reta's figure was stuck in place. His mask fell by itself revealing a deformed facial expression.
Faded scars infested a once charming face.
Red hair went crazy in all directions.
Matching two blood red eyes. Two dead eyes.
"Such an unrefined technique could strike me. ME. JUSTICE 7. DOWN?"
Justice 7 stood up despite the roaring spear penetrating his front.
And he did a little spin kick.
Although it looked foolish, the technique was masterful and Justice 7 looked like an incomplete blur as he traveled in one flawless direction.
"Hwoop."
He was like a child.
Bang.
But despite his childish maneuvers, Reta was blasted left and hit directly in the stomach.
A strong strand of air wavered.
Reta's figure skidded through the snow as he looked at Justice 7 with agonized eyes.
Although his heart lay behind him, at the other end of the spear, Justice 7 was breathing.
Justice 7 was capable of his mastered martial arts despite his heart being out of his body.
Justice 7 then cheerily plucked Ares out of his chest and threw it upwards.
And like a light-house, he blasted it with 2 roaring cannons of hyper-red.
BEUM.
And just like that.
The night sky was briefly invaded by hyper-red and Ares was gone.
A crisp seething sound was all that remained.
With it, all hope from Reta.
As Reta's figure was lit with red momentarily, his eyes became dull.
He was essentially out of energy now.
And Pueris wasn't here either.
Reta attempted a brief charge, but his figure stumbled.
Clenching his stomach from the ground, Reta lifted his head upwards.
And all he saw was a red rubber sock swinging upwards.
"Pwaarh."
An incomprehensible sound left Reta's mouth as he was blasted backward through the snow.
He was moments from swallowing his tongue. Stomach fluids swashed around as Reta's sense of direction went amiss.
Reta's nostrils were filled to the brim with dust-like snow as he found his momentum die out.
And what did Justice 7 do?
Well.
He took a seat.
Reta's figure squirmed and suffocated as his ribs were crushed by a destructive force.
Justice 7 merely admired the silver-crepuscule moon of Russia.
A snarky comment willingly snapped from his mouth as Justice 7 let out a huge and disturbing grin.
"Ah, you fucking dumbass."
Reta's eyes widened from the sudden language change.
Justice 7 applied more force to Reta, hearing the sound of cracks, Justice 7 was pleased immeasurably.
"If I was really going to die, I would've used my force-control."
"You can keep that tip for free. You should probably also realize when someone is acting. Because you fell for that act like a clown. Well you are a bit of a clown but-. Ah well whatever. I'm too happy to think right now."
Reta couldn't even reply as his lungs were crushed by an iron buttock.
Reta was being killed off pathetically.
Through sitting.
Justice 7 kept on bantering.
"You know. If Pueris was here then you might've been able to make me get somewhat serious. But no. Reta knows what to do. It's always Reta who wins in the end."
"Well. Look where being Reta got you."
Justice 7 admired Reta's cowardly position.
"Well. Good job being a dumbass. I'll see you later."
And so Reta's figure deflated like a whimsy balloon.
Justice 7 hissed his goodbye.
"Re-ta."
And with that.
The #1 Villain In Action at the current moment fell.
Fell to buttocks.
Comical? Yes.
But to the millions that prayed to the fall of Beta and the Justice legacy.
It was pathetic.
Reta-.
Reta was a failure.
