Leif didnt say anything but the air pressure in the confined space became extremely high as the temperature of the room dropped.
The driver felt a chill crawl in his spine like there was paranormal activity making him feel ill at ease. Quinn subconsciously rubbed her arm as she continued to reading the comments with her head lowered. She completely unaware that the person sitting next to her wasn't in a good mood.
Lucky for the drive who took most of the hit, they arrived at their destination soon. The luxurious twin tower hotel was a dazzling existence in the city that still even those who lived here and saw it everyday.
Leif opened the door and got out without waiting for the drive to open it for him. He calmly walked over to the other side and because his legs were long it only took a few strides for him to get there before Quinn opened the door herself.
He opened the door and Quinn who was packing away her cell phone got out if the car with a slight look of surprise because Leif's hand that was stretching out towards him.
"Lets go," he said while gesturing with his eyes to take his hand. Quinn couldn't believe it. Was the sun rising from the west today otherwise who could explain why he was taking the initiative.
Quinn stumbled as she stepped out of the car becaise she was so distracted by those long slender figurs with that looked both soft and powerful at a glance. Leif managed to catch her in time with his arm wrapping around her waist.
Lief's breathing stagnated as he stared at the top of her head with luscious soft hair. His adam's apple rolled as he let her go. The familiar discomfort he felt before disappeared along with a certain feeling that wasn't there before but it was so subtle that he didn't notice.
He was the perfect gentleman letting her enter through the doors first and as expected the shatter sounds of a camera followed their figures.
The man in the shadows pulled up his cell phone wrote a message. A second later a soft buzz came from the suit jacket of a body guard standing stiffly outside the sauna.
After reading the message he turned to the door of the sauna and knocked before entering. Then men sitting in this steamy room continued to speak as the bodyguard leaned down as whispered something to the man sitting in the hot spring.
A smile crept up his face when he heard this. "I am sorry gentleman. I have other important matters to attend to," he said as he got up with no regard of his image.
Because he was naked he showcased all his goods as he walked out his steps unhurried. On his ass was tattoo written idiot in French. It was a tattoo he got after losing a bet against his cousin Leif. He hated that bastard so much that he strived to compete with him in everything.
Baited by Leif he bet that he would beat him in the finals in first year university. By his request, he said that whoever lost would get the word idiot tattoo on their ass for life. Too bad he ended up getting the short of the stick and lost.
"Master Bardin, where are you off to?" asked one of his associates jokingly but he actually replied,
"I am going to see my new sister in law," which was unlike him.
Everyone, "..."
Didn't these two hated each other? So why would he end the party before it even began. Who was going to pay for their escorts and drinks when they left for the private club?
Meanwhile, Leif pressed his finger on the sanitised biometric reader beside the hotel room door and with a click the door opened.
From the moment they stepped Quinn felt a refreshing air surrounding his body. Despite it being a hotel room the place was just as clean and comfortable as Leif's bedroom. It seemed like it had been scrubbed from top to bottom until it was squeaky clean.
"This place seems to clean even for a presidential suite," she said as Leif led her to the second bedroom.
"This suite is exclusive only to be so they clean it to my preference," he said not telling the complete story. It was his personal exclusive suite because he owned the debt on the group that owned the chain of hotels.
When the owner was at the brink of bankruptcy Leif brought them back to the top with a big fat check from his private funds.
The man was so grateful that he stupidly asked if there was anything he could do to reply him. Leif requested that they keep the presidential suite in several cities for him and they wouldn't be allowed to book guests in them.
He also gave a list of detergents to be used and a month timetable on what should be cleaned when.
If he knew Leif would ask for this he might have reconsidered accepting the cheque.
On the neat all white bed eerily similar to the guest bedroom she was currently living in was a purple gift box with a white ribbon tied into a bow.
"Is that... for me?" she asked as she walked over to the bed.
Leif answered lazily, "Yes... we will go to dinner after this so you can wear that." After saying this Leif left closing the door behind him.
Quinn didn't even have time to say anything as the door was closed shut. She pinched the ribbon in between her fingers and pulled unravelling it. Her heart that was as calm as spring atop a mountain stirred rapidly as she opened the box.
Apart from her mother no one else had ever gifted her anything this exquisite. Her classmates were perfunctory when gifting things to her as they should since they were children thus she couldn't equate it to the gifts her mother gave her.
She pulled the top by its thin straps and lifted it out of the box revealing a gorgeous marble deep v thin strap top that Quinn would never think of wearing. Beneath it was an ivory flared pants and handbag to match.
There was also a gold watch and bracelets bringing the entire outfit together.
She would never pick this for herself but she was quite curious what it would look like. Ten minutes later she looked at herself in the mirror and couldn't help but admire herself which rarely happened.
