And done! I am finished with my practice paper finally I am so tired
looking towards my left I see Arnav engrossed in his business studies, I am seriously shocked, this is the most amount of time he has gone without speaking ever when he has been with me
"Hey I am taking a 10 min break you want something"
"I would love your cold coffee now if you can make it"
"Of course be right back"
I silently move around the kitchen preparing cold coffee as Arnav is studying and Mom is sleeping in her room.
"What are you doing?", my mom suddenly asks from behind coming out of nowhere which causes me to drop the spoon I was holding and it makes a huge sound as it was so silent in the home.
"You scared me I am making cold coffee you want some?" I ask
"Naah you have I am making tea for myself"
"Oh no worries I will make it you go"
"Okay I am in the hall talking to Masi (Maternal Aunt) then"
I quickly make the tea and serve mom then mix the coffee with the electric hand mixer for the froth
"I am back"
"You were making coffee or were you producing the coffee from scratch, how much time you take"
"Oh shut up I made tea for mom too isilie(that is why)"
"I have never tasted your tea", he points out, "next time make tea for me"
"Who is going to make tea for you, be happy that I prepared coffee else you will not get this also from next time.
"Lady Hitler", he whispers thinking I will not hear and so I hit him lightly on the head which earns me his infamous glare.
"So what did you do?"
"I did 1 chem paper, what about you"
"I did all the end of chapter questions and exam style questions after revising"
"Why not papers?"
"I did papers in the morning when you went to school"
"Oh Okay then now do only paper practice no need to study"
"Yes Ma'am, your coffee tastes heavenly by the way", he says and mock salutes me.
"Get out now your work is finished right"
"What you are kicking me out", Arnav says making his puppy face
"Yes", I say with a poker face
"Noo you are finishing your coffee and coming with me to the park"
I was going to deny when I remember our last fight not wanting a repeat of the events I agree but put a condition that only for 1 hour max, because I need to study too later.
