Just then quiet steps were barely heard in the living room as a feline man stood across them a few meters away, covering his mouth to not make any noise.
The red-haired stood there seeing how Jack and Jimeno glidded their hands over the dark haired one's arm and shoulder whilst the man in question held Teo by his waist.
The screws up his head working up at max speed creating random scenarios flooding his mind, /isn't that how hot scenes get started? My goodness… Hold up, if Ramon sees this he would go berserk/
He was ready to turn back on his heels to go back to the room when someone called after him, his blood draining off his body as he recognized that low deep voice giving him goosebumps.
"Don't forget to bring some water. Shake a leg. I'll keep trying to wake him up."
Ramon just let those words out there floating in the air as he popped his head inside Jack's bedroom again, closing the door right after.
"This man is going to give me a heart attack… Lord… I saw my life flash before my eyes"
Angello held his chest dramatically, closing his eyes as he took another step towards the kitchen.
"What are y'all doing, fools?"
He said bluntly when he stepped inside the kitchen, the four males focusing their eyes on him, hands still holding different body parts belonging to Josh.
Teo swallows tears pricking up at his eyes, whilst Jimeno spoke with a snarl.
"Admiring a strong man. Besides asking some tips to buff up. So I could beat you up next time you mock my height"
"You're a little man. I'm not mocking you, just stating a fact."
Jimeno groaned whilst the feline man was unbothered, "We're the same height!"
"I'm an inch taller"
Bickering with Jimeno helped Angello to ease his worries about his friend and boss, and partly it had the same with the rest of the males in the kitchen.
"Annoying lit-"
Jack covered Jimeno's mouth with the same hand which was patting Josh's shoulders, a kind and innocent smile dancing on his lips, causing Josh and Teo to laugh a little at the short male who was squirming under Jack's grip.
"How is the kid?"
Angello snapped out of his mini battle with his nemesis, his thoughts back to Ramon and his deep, alluring yet dangerous voice.
"I came to look for something to wake him up"
Josh frowned whilst Teo got confused, in contrast to their reaction Jimeno's was way too calm as he stopped moving, eyeing Jack quietly giving the latter a sensation of security so he let go of his mouth.
A bad move as Jimeno spoke sarcastically a second later, "Great! First you confess you hitted on my best friend back then and now you're ditching me for an unknown kid? Go ahead, after all I'm like a painting on the wall, just looking beautiful for decorative purposes without any practical use"
Jack gulped as he truly liked Jimeno, however, he never intended to ruin their friendship that was why he used to friendzone him, so now he was wondering if acting his heart out was a good idea and it wouldn't cause him to hate him.
Teo interjected, noticing how his best friend was refraining from having a breakdown as he balled fists and his breath raced, his nose swelling a little, "Buddy, that was years ago. Besides, Jack is kind and a sweetheart so it's obvious he's concerned about any living being. That includes an unknown."
Josh held Teo's hand, expressionless, any emotion held deep inside his being.
Angello did his best to defend Jack, one of his old friends, "Teo is right, you're taking it out of context. It's not like Jack slept with the kid before, right Jackie?" However, it might have caused more damage than good as Jack coughed, choking on air, not knowing how to respond to that knowing he suck at telling lies and saying the truth would cause havoc.
Angello got the answer at his friend's reaction so he changed the topic, "Anyhow, Ramon will come here if I don't get him the first aid kit fast", as evasive as a cat could be he shifted tables like a smooth criminal on the spot.
Jimeno patted Jack's back not knowing if believe in him or his guts, yet Angello's words brought him out of his thoughts. At the same time Teo looked down unease, pondering what to do with Josh and where to hide him.
Whilst he was lost in his thoughts Jack ran to the drawers looking for the kit, Jimeno stayed in his former position, considering interrogating Jack when they were alone.
Josh found the environment quiet, a bit awkward he broke the silence with a random question.
"So who is the kid?"
Angello replied with a cat-like grin, his gum showing up in a cute yet evil way, "The one we thought were your fiancé"
Josh's squinted his eyes noticing how he was testing him, "Glad you found out he is not"
Shrugging, the red-headed spoke without fear, "I'm not certain about it. I don't have proof. As far as I know the kid and you could be lying so you two could get your way with the dense brothers", eyes on Josh and Teo's entwined fingers.
Josh squeezed them causing Teo to come out of his thoughts, a bit startled, eyes wide as plates in utter panic, "Is he here?", his heart almost jumped out of his chest as he turned his gaze towards the door, his heartbeats regulating after finding the entrance empty.
"Nope. Have you considered talking to your brother tho?"
Josh's words were soft yet one could sense the determination in them, which caused Teo to look away unsure what to say.
"He won't tell him"
Angello said without remorse as Teo glared at him in response triggered by his words.
"I will! Just not today…" he growled annoyed yet hesitant as he didn't know when he would be ready to.
"Same crap, different day. But I agree, today isn't a good day, he's been in a mood the whole morning, ask your 'boy' why he might know more than I do."
Those words left the couple at a loss for words, so to cut off the awkward vibe Jack handed him the aid kit in that instant so the topic dies there.
Angello wasn't done yet as he wanted to offer his input in the matter, so he spoke as he reached for the kit, "In my opinion–"
"We didn't ask for it, so save it for yourself and, maybe, put your own advice into practice instead of going around hurting people's feelings with your cold words."
Seeing Teo's sad reaction Jimeno couldn't help himself from jumping in the middle of the conversation, yelling at the red haired spitting out his mind without anesthesia.
Not done yet he continued, "He doesn't need you to—"
Teo put a hand on Jimeno's back as if to beg him to stay calm, which he submitted, taking a deep breath before letting out his last words.
"Just go back to your boss. You never know what those two are doing alone in that room.!"
The short blonde turned his back on him, mad at his lack of sensitivity showing him words can hurt, which surely got to him as he spun around, sprinting off towards the room where those two were doing his unique yet cute fast cat walk.
Teo let out a small sigh in relief, in contrast to his reaction Josh was wondering what the feline man was truly talking about.
A sudden thought hit him so he looked for his device in his pockets whilst a panicked Teo noticed where he was sticking his hands in, swatting them away from there.
Teo groaned, "What are you doing? Tryna get me grounded until I'm 30?", holding back Josh's hand from getting into his watch pocket which was beneath his belt in the inner part of his pants.
Seeing this Jack interjected immediately, "We'll buy you some time, but I recommend you to use the guest's room for more privacy and to prevent someone from getting a cardiac arrest by witnessing hot stuff."
Jack spoke with a knowing smile dancing on his lips as he wiggled his eyebrows, his hand taking a hold of Jimeno's shoulders to get him moving.
"Let's get going!"
He whispered into the shorter male's ear leading him out along with himself.
"Why can't we stay?"
Jimeno whined the whole way out, Teo got flustered as his friends got the wrong idea, or maybe it was so wrong as Josh grabbed his jacket in one hand and Teo's in the other one.
"Be quiet. We really need to talk."
Teo gulped as he was dragged out down the corridor to the last door Josh found.
The curly blonde spoke staring at the door, "This is-"
"The guest's room I guess"
Josh shrugged thinking he was right whilst Teo shook his head in response.
"Yeah.. well, more like the studio room"
"This is the last room so we have far less possibilities of someone eavesdropping our conversation."
Teo nodded as he reminisced the studio was soundproof as Jack tended to record demos in there.
