Chapter 62 - Episode 62: The unforgettable taste of your lips

Jake looked at Jack then back to Ramon who was the last one who asked, the honey haired boy felt trapped, at this point that window looked like a perfect place to jump off.

Jack interjected as he didn't want to cause more damage than he already did so he spoke calmly next.

"It isn't his fault either… he just kissed him because I said that's a thing in princess' movies… I didn't think he would take my advice as a fact"

Jake looked at him when he spoke, then back to the feline man, thinking he didn't really mean it when he kissed either, unbeknown to himself he felt like crying, his eyes pooling up.

So he rushed to the door not wishing to be here anymore, knowing he was at the edge of a breakdown.

Tae ran after the boy in a heartbeat and so did his brother; however, the boy yelled as a plea to his broken self.

"Please, I need a moment to think this through. Could you let me be?"

Ramon replied to the boy's plea, feeling responsible for his friend's actions and concerned at the younger's reaction, taking the blame upon himself.

"I beg you to listen to me first. After that you can decide what you wanna do next. Let me speak in their be–"

Jake shook his head, tears spilling down from his amber eyes as if his golden eyes were melting, biting his lips to not sob.

"Can I talk to him instead?"

Teo bowed to his brother, hoping he could help the confused and obviously hurt boy as being contemporaries might ease their commutation to which the honey haired nodded, finding the same uneasiness he was feeling due recent events happening in his life swimming inside Teo's ocean eyes although he didn't know his reasons.

"You'd rather talk to him than me?", Ramon gasped, feeling as if he was ditched..

" He's my age. Y'all so old to understand what I have to say.."

Jake said as Teo smiled, aiming for the kitchen so they could talk there to which the bunny-like boy accepted, proceeding to walk over there with a serene Teo following his steps.

Jack sat on the couch, crossing one leg over another, holding a cup of tea between his elegant fingers, speaking only after taking a small sip of his teacup, "You're getting rusty, pal. Just look how mad the kid got by being kissed by you. Did you have to bite his lip–"

"Nobody asked!" Angello groaned, crossing his arms over his chest, glaring at his friend, scenes of the kiss playing in his mind made him uneasy.

"Did you have the audacity of biting those smooth lips?" Ramon interrogated his friend, riled up to the core saying to himself it was because he was kissed without his consent, -could it be as to why tho?-.

"It was Jack's idea", the redhead retorted, sullenly, as his eyes became wider like a lost baby kitty begging to not be kicked out in the cold.

"Ok… I suggest learning how to identify jokes. It'd be a good thing 'cause you and him are so dense to get the meaning behind my words, I never meant for you to go and do it." He defended himself by setting the teacup on the table, rolling his eyes at his old friends.

Jimeno sat by his side taking a cookie from the platter, "He's right, who could take that as a fact. Kissing is not–"

"Whatever you say, it worked. I just didn't expect to be attacked back after he woke up," Angello's face flushed up as he spoke, gulping down his bashfulness.

In contrast to his reaction Ramon gulped down his ire, not wanting to listen a word about it so he walked towards the kitchen holding his words in as he didn't want to hurt someone with them.

"I'll give ya that 'cause it indeed did wonders, but I don't think he was rusty, he might've liked it as he willingly accepted it yet he freaked out when he realized this was you who got him like that."

Jimeno stated his opinion after swallowing the cookie he just stuffed himself with, causing Jack's eyes to widen and Angello's jaw to drop to the floor bewildered.

"Maybe you're a good kisser, you just haven't practiced enough to be told so"

The blonde shrugged his shoulders, picking up another cookie whilst Angello refused to come to terms with himself that It wasn't that bad, the problem is that he wasn't his crush of years who stood by the kitchen door, feeling like a cheater if he were to admit it despising the thought alone.

"Do you wanna try his lips now?"

Jack leaned back on the sofa, eyeing Jimeno with a tough expression, making the latter choke on the half bitten cookie in his mouth.

Swallowing it before speaking, Jimeno turned to look at the love of his life, "I– No! How could you say that? I was just saying what I noticed as a witness. I never said that I wanted to be in the boy's place, let alone his dummy to practice with."

Before this whole mess turned into a bigger one the kitchen door got unlocked, a quiet Teo walked out, nodding to which Ramon took as a signal to approach the young man.

Jake walked out right after Teo, his words as icy as arctic wind slapping someone's face."I'll listen to you" staring at Ramon straight up to his face as he spoke, yet refusing to spare a single look at anyone else in the room to keep his resolve steady, "However, the surly cat shall stay meters away from me from now onwards, is that clear?."

Angello winced, standing up like a cat getting on his paws in the blink of an eye at being poked with a stick, "Hey! Who are you calling a surly cat?"

Teo lifted a hand to prevent it getting dragged longer than necessary, clearing up certain points, "Angel, you kissed him without his consent, it's obvious he's still mad. Anyone would, so give him some time. Besides, don't forget, even if your original intention was a peck, you owe him an apology for your actions."

The honey haired stomped his feet awaiting for it, "You heard him, now apologize to me." Yet not looking at him directly.

Jimeno interjected as he saw it unfair not considering both parties were as guilty as the other one, "You also owe him one because you pulled him closer."

The young honey haired balled his fists, whilst all eyes were on him at that answer, pouting as he didn't want to admit his take in the matter, "Right… it's my fault, blame the sleeping boy who was resting up."

Teo sighed as he stood in between Angello and Jake who glared at each other, "Both of you are victims of the circumstances. We're just trying to fix this as it's going to be tough to live under the same roof mad at each other like this."

Ramon smiled broadly, his dimples showing after what seemed forever, happy the young man wouldn't run away as he thought he would, he could live hearing them bickering daily as long as he weren't planning to go.

"So you will stay?"

Jake nodded, grinning as he couldn't help himself every time he saw those dimples appearing on his crush's cheeks softening his resolutions.

He rushed to hug him, but Teo stopped him with his hand in front of the younger one out of consideration to Angello who looked gloomy seeing how he was ignored.

"You two also need to talk. But that won't be now. Let's order some take out first, I'm craving some squidish with crab sauce and sweet potatoes."

He spoke softly whilst his brother backed away, hands on his chest as if stabbed.

The tall burly male spoke in disbelief, "What did the poor creatures do to you, bro?"

Teo chuckled as he noticed this irked his brother, his love for sea animals surely was as vast as the sea itself, "Right, some kimchi rice for you and spicy chicken"

His best friend yelped, laughing at how Ramon sulked furthermore, "I want marine soup, with noodles."

The whole bunch laughed as the large male sulked cutely, whining and lecturing them on how it wasn't good for them, and offering alternatives of different dishes to get.

They were deaf to his complaints as at the end they decided their lunch and most of their meal consisted of sea food which caused Ramon to eat in the kitchen alone, yet it didn't last long as Jake emptied his dish in minutes, even if it was burning hot, just to go and keep him some company to his crush who thanked him his good intentions.

Their morning and afternoon moved smoothly which helped the brothers to briefly forget the lawsuit they had upon themselves which most likely they would have to deal with later on.
