Taking a deep breath, Han explained "Every baker who works in the bakery gets free bread. The village pools in money to buy grains that last us all for a month and more. Since you are a guest here, you have to do some work here to earn your meal. That's the reason I sent you to the bakery since you only have to work for a few hours in the morning."
"Oh okay …." Lucio said and walked outside, thinking what to do and muttered "The only thing that is left for me to do is train for the so called warrior's test or something."
He walked back to Han's place and did a bit of warm up before getting into the intense part. Han came back and saw Lucio jogging around the house. He took his knife and an axe before he left for his daily task with a smile on his face.
Lucio was panting as he sat down on a stone slab. He felt like he had jogged for ages but the sun had moved little from when he started.
"In this planet, only the strong survive. If you want to live, you have to work hard. You have to work so hard that you feel like dying. Only then will you be able to escape real death in battles." Lucio said out loud, trying to motivate himself.
Lucio forced himself to stand up and ran. He knew himself more than anyone that if he took a break, he'd procrastinate till the last second. He opened his system so he could keep his mind on something else while his body cried.

The exp points gained had a limitation. One could gain a maximum of ten exp points from a particular action which was not complicated. In short, if one just ran for ten hours, they would get ten exp points only, but if a person ran for an hour, cooked for an hour and swam for an hour, he would get more than ten exp points.
Each action gave different amount of experience points depending on various factors such as difficulty, concentration and complexity. For example, running gave 1 exp every 5 minutes and about 100 exp if he saved someone's life. Every action done had a particular value.
Lucio continued running till he got 10 points and stopped. He was exhausted and was out of breath. He went inside the house and brought a bowl. He poured some soup for himself and drank the cold soup. He felt refreshed but his body still hurt.
Shaking his head, he went inside and lay down. He didn't want an injury when he only had five days to train. He wanted to check his admin system but he decided against it. Every second was precious and he had to let his body rest.

Lucio woke up and walked out. His legs still hurt but it was better than before. A group of kids similar to his age were discussing something as they sat under the shade of a tree. Mark was also present in the group and he waved his hands towards Lucio, which made everyone in the group turn and look towards the boy with long black hair which reached his ears.
Lucio sighed as he walked towards them "Hello, my name is Samael. I'm new to this village and Mark's friend." He introduced himself with a gentle smile on his face which miraculously made people like him.
But before anyone opened their mouth, Mark countered "No. You are my rival. I will beat you in front the whole village when the warrior's trial is held."
The other kids were excited. Mark was friends with everyone in the village so they didn't see anyone fight him, but they knew he was strong and fit as they saw him train every single day. Mark declaring someone as a rival and making a statement that he would beat them was new to them.
All the kids looked at Lucio in anticipation and excitement. Lucio frowned at first but soon smirked as he pushed his hair back and said "I'm sorry. You are too weak for me to even consider you as a threat."
The kids went crazy when they heard Lucio talking in a way that was very different from how he introduced himself, Calm and friendly. All they saw now was Pride in his eyes and mockery in his words.
Mark confidently replied "What gives you the confidence? I've been training for years but look at you, a standing skeleton."
Lucio shook his head and said "You say that you trained for years, but did uncle Han ever take you out with him to hunt?"
"No… he didn't. He only takes the ones who pass the warrior's trial. What does that have to do with you?" Mark countered back and Lucio shook his head again as he chuckled.
"I helped uncle Han catch one of the thieves yesterday. I took one of them out with a stick while he had a sharp knife. Uncle Han even said that if I didn't help him, he might have lost an arm or two."
Three sentences, one more shocking than the previous came out of Lucio's mouth.
Mark was at a loss for words and he felt doubtful "You are lying!"
"Oh no, I'm not." Lucio said and turned towards the others "What were you guys discussing anyways?"
They quickly recovered from the shock when they heard Lucio and one of them said "We were planning on swimming in the river and catch some fishes if possible."
"Oh… that seems interesting, may I join you?"
They all looked at Mark and since he didn't seem like he had a problem with Lucio Joining them, they readily agreed "Sure, Samael. You can join us."
After a little bit of introductions and gossips, they went to have the main meal of the day.
Lucio walked to the bakery and took a piece of bread that looked like a baguette. Since he would be working there from tomorrow, they let him take the bread.
Lucio boiled the soup and poured it in his bowl. "Ah… this tastes so good." He said as he took a bite of the bread. People here called it a long bread. He took his own time as he ate his lunch. One whole baguette might be a bit too much for a person but Lucio needed it for the rest of the day.
Lucio walked back to the tree after he finished his lunch and most of the buys were waiting for the others who didn't come. They all talked and gossiped about the most beautiful and charming girls of the village, their goals in life and bragged exaggeratedly about random things.
It took a while for everyone to gather and they moved. The river was quite far and they walked for almost an hour before reaching the location. Mark was the first one to jump into the river, and the others followed right behind him.
Lucio was about to take off his shirt when he felt himself being lifted "HAHAHA! LET'S THROW HIM IN!" Said the guy who lifted him up and other chanted.
"THROW HIM IN!"
"THROW HIM IN!"
"THROW HIM IN!"
"THROW HIM IN!"
Lucio sighed and relaxed as the guy ran towards the river and threw Lucio with all the strength he could muster and Lucio was flying albeit temporarily, before crashing down into the waters below.
The first thing Lucio noticed was that the river wasn't too deep and he could see fishes swimming with the flow inside. He swam back up and everyone cheered. He swam for a long time before someone started catching fish.
When one started, it was a war. Everyone dived inside the river and tried to catch the slippery fish but to no avail. The atmosphere was so good that even Lucio was swept by it, as he tried to catch those slippery fishes.
It was all fun until Mark caught a fish and looked over at Lucio with a smirk on his face as he said "Heh, this is war, Samael. This is war."
Lucio grinned as he shouted "IF YOU WANT A WAR, THEN A WAR YOU WILL GET!!"
