It was four in the morning when a wimpy guy with dark circles continued trolling and texting people in Chirper. A flashy post caught his attention and he read it with excitement. He was one among many who applied for the beta testing and seeing a post from Zen Obscure, a new company that released the VRMMORPG called [OSCURO ONLINE].
Zen Obscure:
The beta phase will begin from 8pm tomorrow. Beta testers listed below will be able to play the game from 8pm to 4am. The ratio of time flow of earth to oscuro will be 8:160. All the beta testers are requested to keep the amount ready as the delivery has already started. We are excited to see you all experience Oscuro and tell the world about it.
Super Tip : Treat it as a real life as you only have one life. If you die once, then you are dead. There are no respawns.

The guy was searching for his name in the list when the doorbell rang. "Coming!"
He opened the door to see a man holding a cardboard box. "Sir, here is your headset. Congratulations on winning a chance to play the game so early."
"Oh ….. I won?"
"Yes sir. Now, could you please give me your sign and write down your name on this sheet please "
The guy behind the door nodded and wrote his name and signed. The delivery boy checked the paper "Jo Shin… right?"
Jo Shin nodded and the guy outside replied "That will cost 1 million won."
To which Jo Shin simply nodded and went inside and brought his phone showing that he had paid online. The other guy simply nodded and left saying "Have a nice day."
Jo Shin Quickly closed the door and tore open the box, only to see a headset made of plastic. "*Sigh* Was I scammed again?"
Most of the people who got the helmet had the same thought when they saw it.
Lucio woke up early and searched for houses to rent. He planned on renting places for at least a year before buying a property. He had found about six houses and twin houses combined which were near to the schools.
It was about 8 in the morning when Emilia woke up and freshened up for the day. Lucio and the two had breakfast brought to their room and Lucio left the place to get some things he needed to make the headset.
He had to go knocking on Gloria's door to use the 3D printer they had in the house. He sat in their home, assembling everything and making a huge mess, which he cleaned up even after Gloria urged him not to.
It was about 4 when he came back to the hotel, only to see the two devils munching on pizza slices. "Where did you get the pizza from?"
"Someone gave it to us…." Emilia said timidly and looked at her twin while Emiliano looked like he was caught red handed.
"Emiliano, Speak up or ….. hmm you won't be allowed to watch mighty morphin ever again."
"I..I.. called some number on that phone and they asked what I wanted….. I said food and uh …. They brought this."
Lucio simply shook his head and grabbed a slice. "Don't do stuff like that when I'm not around. You are lucky they didn't ask you for money."
Emiliano just nodded silently "Okay brother…."
They passed time watching a movie together until 7pm and went down to have some dinner. It was almost 8 when they came back after a light meal. It didn't take long for the kids to fall asleep while Lucio wore the helmet and lay down beside them.
"Finally….. No one's going to stop me this time." He said as he turned the headset on.
Pitch black darkness greeted his for a few seconds and then, he heard a robotic voice.
"Welcome to Oscuro. Please select the place you would like to spawn in."
There were a few places whose names were huge compared to others with the words (recommended for your location) beside them. Lucio didn't have to scroll down this time as Axyte was right on the top of the list with bold words. He clicked on Axyte mentally and the screen turned dark again.
Jo Shin lay down on his bed with the headset worn. The clock struck 8 and a few seconds later, his body went limp but his heart was beating.
Jo Shin opened his eyes and he felt like he was lifted by someone and there was havoc everywhere. Many people wearing animal hide were lying in a pool of blood while there were many screams of mercy from the few mud huts around them.
He looked down to find himself sitting on top of many dead bodies whose guts were spilled over. He looked at his own tanned skin and toned, rock hard muscles.
Suddenly a screen popped up in front of Jo Shin.

He stared at the three lines and sighed as he stood up, muttering "Such a hard game….Termination of my account ? Seriously?"
He looked at his surroundings and found 3 young men stand up almost at the same time. The four men looked at each other and nodded. They then looked at a man who suddenly ran towards the tent with an axe in his hand.
The other four including Dojin looked at the man who ran into the tent. The man came out soon after , with blood splattered on his chiselled body. The contents on the screen changed for all the 4 men standing outside.

This made them realise that the quests were group quests. They all picked up weapons that were lying beside the numerous dead bodies. Which were either some damaged sickles or hammers made of stone.
The man who just came out of the tent pointed at a huge hut made of stone and they all realised that most of the screams and sounds of laughter came from that hut.
For some reason they felt their blood boil as they walked towards the hut in silence, following the man in front of them. When they reached the hut, the man in front rushed in fast and the others followed right behind him, not wasting even a second.
Eight burly men who were busy having the time of their life were too busy to notice people entering the hut, only too see their own headless bodies doing the unforgivable deed before losing vision.
Jo shin had taken out 4 members by himself and the others easily took care of the rest. Blood splattered as 4 heads flew and they all looked at the headless bodies still doing the deed for a few seconds before they went limp.
The naked and bruised women were petrified of what they saw. They couldn't thank the warriors as they soon fainted.
Jo shin looked at the four people in front of him who he guessed were players. "Hi my name is Mutu. I'm the tribe's warrior."
Dojin nodded stretched out his hand "Kutu here. Nice to meet you."
The other 3 looked confused as they said "I …. Don't have a name?"
Jo Shin looked at them and said "We can talk about that later, lets finish at least one mission. There are 6 more left …. 2 more huts. I'll take one and you guys take the other."
Dojin shook his head "You are strong but two is always better than one."
The other three agreed and walked towards a hut which had the least commotion, while Jo Shin and Dojin went to the hut which was quite noisy.
Jo Shin sped up as they neared the hut and Dojin followed closely behind. There were four burly men who were a bit too busy to notice people entering the hut, only to meet the same fate as the previous eight.
Both the tribal warriors exited the hut , only to see 2 burly men come out of the hut that the other three attacked.
Looking at the angry men who turned towards them, they sighed "Guess we can't ambush them anymore…."
