"5 members, we still need two more to get the club officially registered. This way we can get a class or an empty room to train in. But at least we're on the right path, it's just a matter of time. But we have to keep working hard." said Kira.
Currently, the Idol Club that will be formed by Kira and Suta has 1 additional member, although the actual members who will perform are only Suta and Mina. Kira is only in the group as a support member so that the club can be formed.
Even so, Kira was still considered Suta's manager and not just a support member.
"Um, how should I address you, Aoi... Mina?"
"You can just call me Mina."
"First name? Are you alright with that?" Calling by first name was very risky, for someone who had just met it could be awkward for both of them, but if that was what Aoi Mina herself wanted, she did not want to be impolite towards her.
However...
"I will call you, Aoi-san. Just like I call Hoshi-san, Hoshi-san."
"Eh? I thought you guys were already at the phase where you call each other by your first names."
'Of course not, like you, I've only just gotten to know her...' he thought.
But calmly, Kira shook his head and said, "You still misunderstand our relationship. We're just business partners who met recently."
"Ehehe, but don't worry Mina-chan~ Even though we met recently, the manager is a reliable person! I've seen it with my own eyes. If you don't believe me, do you want to see it with my eyes? I still have the memory~" Suta chuckled.
She was a woman with a cheerful personality, having just met the new member, Suta had immediately called her by her first name and joked with her to become more familiar.
And it worked well as Mina chuckled at Suta's silly behavior.
With the situation and atmosphere of the three of them being more fluid, Kira was finally able to clarify their true relationship. He even explained his promise to bring Suta into the Idol world and make her a world recognized Idol.
"Manager and client huh," Mina said.
"You could say it like that."
"Interesting, then will you be my manager too?"
Hearing this, Kira couldn't hide his expression. He seemed to object, from the disgusted expression on his face. No, it wasn't to mock Mina, it was just that he was fed up enough to think about it even for just one person. Two people? No, he no longer wanted to add to it.
"Ahaha, you're pretty funny too, manager! You can't even hide that funny expression."
"I know, right? The manager is someone to rely on! He's very honest."
"No, no, Hoshi-san. That doesn't make sense." said Kira with a sigh.
With only one day of meeting, they were already getting along well. Kira and Suta took that as the perfect time to explain their future plans and why they founded the club.
Mina nodded cheerfully and enthusiastically. She did not expect that the decision to join the club made her satisfied and relieved, moreover, Kira and Suta were so carefree that Mina was no longer nervous to communicate with them.
"By the way, which class are you in, Mina-chan?"
"I'm in 1-A. You and the Manager are in the same class, right?"
"You're right, we're in class 1-B. If you want to play with us, let's meet at the same place as before and talk alot about Idol stuff!"
Smiling sweetly, Mina replied, "Okay. I really appreciate it."
Seeing Mina's personality, Kira was suddenly confused. In just one day, he saw 2 or even 3 personalities at once. She who was shy, she who was enthusiastic, and also she who looked very mature.
But that was natural. Someone tends to behave shyly during their first meeting with others, then someone is also usually enthusiastic about something that has become their passion, and behaves maturely towards someone they respect.
And that meant, were Suta and Kira the figures Mina respected now? But it was no wonder as they were people who would be by their side for a long time.
"We should also talk about the other members to the club, do you have any friends who interested?"
"Unfortunately, no..."
"Well that's fine."
Suta suddenly interrupted their conversation because she recalled something, "Oh yeah, Mina-chan. Don't you need a manager? Can you handle this all by yourself?"
"Ah, take it easy... I have someone who is very reliable. There's no need to worry."
"If you say so, fine! I trust Mina-chan!"
"Alright... Then I'll go back to class first."
"See you later Mina-chan!"
Cheerfully, Suta returned to class with Kira. It looked like Suta was in a trance, she was so happy that there was someone who would join his club. Suta hummed nonstop on her way to the class.
Kira also felt relieved when she saw Suta smiling like that. It was a sign that she would be more excited and make everything go more smoothly. But still... Once again, Kira didn't know anything about Idol. He didn't know what he had to do to make Suta a decent Idol.
He didn't know how Suta's singing skills were, nor did he know how Suta's dancing skills were. All he knew about Suta was how cheerful and positive her attitude was. But would that be enough to become an Idol?
Of course not...
Therefore, he wanted to see Suta show his skills to Kira first, so that he knew the standard of Suta's skills.
With that, Kira gathered Suta and Mina in an empty room the next day. "I want to see your skills."
"Eh?" Both of their faces turned red, for some reason it made them misbehave.
"M-Manager..." Hoshi Suta embarrassedly turned her face away from Kira. Kira didn't know why Suta was acting so awkwardly that she didn't dare to look at him directly.
And not only Suta, when Kira approached Mina it was the same way. Mina's face was very red, one could even say that it was the reddest face he had ever seen. Mina didn't look at Kira directly either, she stared into the void as her mind was filled with embarrassing things.
Kira was standing right in front of Mina, "Aoi-san?" Kira's voice startled Mina who was in her reverie.
"Y-Yes?"
"Do you want to show me how experienced you are?"
Mina's face reddened all over again, she was so embarrassed that she closed her eyes. She stammered, "I-It's my first experience."
"Oh? I thought you were quite experienced."
"No... I mean, I just want to do it with someone I love."
Kira wondered, was she that introverted that she didn't want to show him her singing or dancing skills? But what about the fans? Did she not want to show them? Or did Mina think that fans were the people she loved the most?
"So... You don't want to show your dancing or singing skills?"
Both of them then realized, "SO THAT'S WHAT YOU MEAN! DON'T YOU HAVE A BETTER CHOICE OF WORDS?" The two said while kicking both of Kira's legs making Kira fall down a little.
"What are you guys doing? What did I do wrong?" Kira lamented.
"Everything! You did everything wrong!"
"I didn't say anything wrong. If you think I did, isn't it just your imagination?"
Once again, they both fell silent with red faces. Perhaps Kira was right, that both of their imaginations were very wild. They jumped to the wrong conclusion without clarifying it first.
"Cough... Anyway, I already know what skills Mina-chan has" said Suta.
Yes, with just one look and precise observation, Suta knew what Mina's strengths were. You could say, Suta has an extraordinary presumption of observation in one look,
"Yesterday when I saw Mina-chan taking the form to join this club, her wrist had a support sport glove which means she has talent in physical matters. And I'm sure Mina-chan is a shy girl and has a bit of low-esteem, you must be making your short physique your main weapon right? I'm not trying to make fun of your height, but your short body will make you move with agility. And also when I saw you turning around before returning to your class, I saw that your movements were very skillful and elegance. So I guess... dancing is your specialty, right?"
Mina listened to that with awe and a bit of shock, in just one meeting, Suta could guess Mina's self to the core. "That's right..."
"And also, you like wearing these sports pants, because your movements are too skillful and graceful, you are afraid that you will move too conspicuously and attract the attention of others, right?"
Mina nodded. Once again, Suta was right. Mina's movements were always special, even though she looked shy, her movements were very graceful and cute. If she made the slightest mistake, she was afraid that she would attract the attention of others and she might be hated by others because of that.
"So, how about you show me how good you are, Mina-chan~" challenged Suta with a grin showed on her face.
