He mused while touching the boy's face. 'Whose son are you?' He wanted to recall where he met this child, and for a fleeting moment, he remembered him at Tristan's school. His nephew's best friend! When Clark felt a hand touching his face, he slowly opened his eyes.
"Daddy..." he softly said.
"You're awake. Are you hungry?" Clifford asked, full of concern.
The boy just stared at him, and his mouth opened in shock. Then, the boy's eyes widened in amazement. But when he remembered what had happened earlier, he looked down. He seems fearful over something.
"What's wrong, young man? Are you unwell?" he asked while touching the boy's forehead.
The boy shook his head, "I'm hungry."
"Oh, okay... here, eat this." He handed him a sandwich stuffed with ham, cheese, and eggs. The boy's eyes lit up when he saw the food. Grab it and slowly ate. So, Cliff just observed the boy eating, and then he drank the coffee.
