"Son, arrange a dinner with your mother, but please don't mention that I am going." The CEO grinned while Clifford snorted, still sceptical at his father's plan. Besides, he doesn't want his mother to be hurt again.
"For what purpose?" His father smiled with pure determination in his eyes.
"I'll win your mother's heart once again. But I only have this one last chance to be with her. So, I'm asking you to allow me to court your mom and be with her for the rest of our lives."
Clifford could only sigh at his father's pleading. Who is he to stop them? If his mother would give his father another chance, that's their decision to make.
