LAST TIME:

"The day is not alone and is made of many things, the cycle of life and death, hope and misery, light and dark, and yin and yang. I think I am starting to understand, it also sounds like I have a lot more homework to do than I first imagined." I said with a small chuckle as Hemera joined me her eyes seemed to sparkle a little. Just then the world began to darken as it also seemed to slowly fade from existence. It seemed that her advice came at a cost and was limiting our time together. I wanted to stay longer but I knew I would see her again, at least one last time.

"Indeed you do, but don't worry I have faith in you Percy. If there is anyone who can do it is you. You have our mother's blood and I have never seen anyone more talented than you. Believe in yourself and become the day that this world needs." She finished as she turned to face me as the last of the world began to dissipate into night. Even her smile and brilliant eyes were turning to shadows by the second as I felt sorrow build in my chest.

"I will sister, I promise," I said as I reached over and grabbed her hand as she grabbed mine. All I could do was stare at her as the last remnants of her being were consumed by darkness. With one last glimmer from her eyes, everything finally turned to darkness.

NOW:

TIME: APRIL 2007

THIRD PERSON POV:

On top of the Atlantic Ocean, calm water that slowly rippled with the wind could be seen as far as the eye would allow. Groups of seagulls and other birds were leisurely coasting in the sky. Fluffy clouds peppered the blue behind them, perfecting the image of a calm and simplistic scene. Yet far above the sky with the clouds, a black dot could be seen making its way southeast.

If one were to take a closer look at the black dot one would actually find a person with two huge blue feathered wings that stretched a total of 50 feet from tip to tip. The wings flapped on occasion giving him a burst of speed as the winds ripped around him, his speed easily reaching a couple hundred miles an hour. Yet surprisingly he did not have any special flying suit, instead, he wore normal clothes that did not suit his situation of flying several hundred feet in the air.

He had on a stylish brown leather zip-up jacket that had a dark red eye of Sauron on the back, a pocket on each chest, and a fabric hood made of a very dark red fabric. Completing his look was a slightly tight dark blue v-neck shirt that said 'Please return to Hestia if lost', fitting denim jeans, and black sneakers. The image was then thrown off by a silver and sleek knight helmet that covered his head, yet it wasn't done there.

"Sing with me, sing for the year! Sing for the laughter, and sing for the tear! Sing with me if it's just for today! Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you awayyyyyy!" A voice could be heard yelling along to a song inside the helmet as if the person inside was having the time of his life. Even the birds seemed to glance awkwardly at the figure as he stormed past them.

"By the gods beside Zeus, I'm so happy I listened to Tracy and bought the newest iPod and let her put together a playlist along with the girls. I think I would have lost my mind by hour 2 if I didn't have this little guy." He said in a thankful tone as he patted the small device and the small power bank that rested inside his jacket.

'Percy this music device of yours is interesting but the songs are too lame, Play more of that death metal if you could,' A voice echoed in Percy's head as he scoffed a bit at Alpha's request.

'Alpha contain yourself, let master listen to what he wishes. Though… I wouldn't mind a few more classical songs. This Beethoven is a man of great taste, the way he weaves music is insightful.' Barbatos kindly asked as Alpha quickly retorted as Percy silently flew in the air the devil and angel on his shoulders bickered. Percy almost felt like he was dealing with Zora and Ryder on long trips again.

"Enough you two, or no more music!" Percy chastised them as the voices in his mind quieted down, he sighed in relief at least they were easier to deal with than the twins. In all honesty, if anyone actually knew the true Barbatos and Alpharius they would be agape seeing such a thing.

"So what song do you two wanna listen to? No fighting!" Percy asked them before reminding them like a parent would. He then soon began to hear whispering in his mind for a bit as he dodged a few flocks of birds and went through a cloud or two. A few Nephele or Cloud nymphs were left yelling or screaming in shock as Percy tore right through their cloud. Percy could only apologetically wave at them as they angrily shook their fists at him and cursed at him.

"We have decided on a song… by the nickel of the back, the popstar one." Barbatos said as Percy couldn't help but snort at his way of saying things.

"You mean Rockstar by Nickelback? I thought you two said Nickelback was boring?" Percy asked them as he was met with only silence for a bit until Alpha finally caved.

"Their songs are… enjoyable even if they are lame. Now play the song!" He quickly said before shutting up, Percy just laughed and quickly took out his iPod, blocked off the wind, and found the selected song before hitting play.

It didn't even take a few moments before Percy, Alpha, and Barbatos were all singing the song in sync with each other. Two voices echoed in Percy's head as his voice once again echoed through the air, like this time passed quickly and Percy continued on his way towards the Bermuda Triangle. When Percy actually passed through the very edge of the triangle a strange sensation passed over his entire body sending a shiver through his spine.

"Ugggghhhh that was fucking weird," Percy said shaking his body and wings a bit as he glanced behind him finding a shimmering wall of air as he frowned a bit.

'Hmm… the mist is thinner here,' The voice of Alpha echoed in his head as Percy glanced around and realized he was right.

The air felt different here, almost cleaner in a sense as Percy couldn't help but slow down and simply glide through the air as he took a deep breath of air that the helmet allowed through. The air felt far fresher than even the deep woods he was used to with the Hunters. Maybe it was the thinner mist or maybe it was because of his domain of the sea. Percy wasn't 100% sure but as he continued to glide he felt his handle on the domain of the sea grow firmer a bit as he blinked in surprise.

"It seems like Poseidon's power over these waters is at least halved, It seems the sea of monsters is just like the labyrinth and weakens the influence of gods to an extent," Percy said while feeling his control over the water rise considerably, he couldn't help but relish in the feeling for a few moments.

"Let us continue, we still have at least a full day of travel before we get to the island. At least I can use the map on the brochure now." Percy said while taking out said brochure and reading over the back which had all the details on it. After a quick glance, Percy nodded again before stuffing the piece of paper away and flapping his wings as hard as he could.

*Boom!*

A muffled boom erupted from the air as Percy instantly started to go nearly 500 mph as the wind ripped past him. He had conserved his strength just for this part of the trip, the most deadly part as a matter of fact. Heeding the warnings of the ever so lovely Hestia and Artemis, Percy wanted to get to the island as fast as he could. The man seemed to turn into a rocket as he crossed the skies, his domain of the sea feeding into him and boosting his powers even further.

The view around him seemed to turn into a blur as his speed increased to the point another boom was heard as a ring of white vapor spread from him. Percy had cleared the sound barrier as he continued to push himself yet his body seemed to feel a bit of strain from the intense speed as he was forced to keep his speed right above the aforementioned barrier. His helmet and leather jacket seemed to act with each other to create a clear protective barrier from the wind as he continued onwards.

'Your speed could use some work.' Barbatos murmured in Percy's mind as Percy ignored his backseat flier as he continued to pass over the dangerous sea. Percy rarely if ever used his wings in America because of Zeus, the only time he honestly ever did was in the Nest's marble that had been recently discovered. Artemis, Hestia, Vesta, and even Hera were more than happy to help him learn this new ability.

Time passed by quickly as Percy continued to push himself but as he flew further into the sea of monsters a sort of pressure began to apply on him from the skies. It was not anything like that of a god or otherworldly being, instead, it was like nature itself with any hint of malice as the cause. Percy furrowed his brows a bit as the pressure only continued to grow and grow as he was forced to decrease his altitude to relieve it.

'Boss I would just give up, You may be strong but this isn't something you can fight.' Alpha said as Percy furrowed his brows in annoyance, all he could do was drop his altitude and his speed until he was only 100 feet or so from the surface. His speed also dropped to about 200 mph when the pressure finally released him.

"What the hell was that?" Percy couldn't help but ask as Alpha seemed to hum as he seemed to think up an explanation.

'The sea of monsters is technically alive, just like the labyrinth you and Zoe fell into all those years ago. It is not kind to certain visitors and restrains them to a point. It seems it was not pleased with you flying through its domain so it forced you down. Even if your strength matches that of a minor god at best and even a major one with your domain at full blast it is still too weak. Artemis and even Hestia mentioned they couldn't fly their chariots through this place easily so don't be worried.' Alpha said as Percy seemed to blink in surprise, this was entirely new information to him.

"The sea of monsters has a conscious?" He couldn't help but ask as Barbatos laughed a bit.

'You have seen a god in the form of a sentient statue with no arms and you are still surprised that a domain that centers itself around mythical monsters is sentient to a point?'

"You make a point… I don't know why but I suddenly feel the need to send Terminus a gift basket of apology."

'You totally should you jerk.'

"Shut up Alpha. Regardless it seems that I am only moving by low altitude from now on-."

Percy suddenly stopped as a massive pressure descended from the sky yet again, but this time it was not the same as before. This pressure was not from the Sea of Monsters instead it was from a being of power. Yet the aura from it felt odd just then something deep inside his memory stirred as he realized this energy was not from his pantheon.

The pressure then seemed to still the ocean and quiet the sky as a huge shadow started to make its way across the ocean Percy's eyes went wide in shock. His domain of the sea subconsciously offset the pressure by a great amount, but he remained still as his eyes locked onto the shadow that was coming his way. His eyes then slowly went upward to find an incredibly large being slowly flying through the sky, yet due to its size it seemed incredibly fast.

It was a dragon, not just any dragon but an eastern dragon that had long golden whiskers and a beard coming from the front of its face that all stretched hundreds of feet each. Two long golden horns stretched from the top of its head like a magnificent crown. Each golden scale on its body glimmered like a fine treasure on its body, the gleam of them seemed to change the sea into a golden one. The only thing that was not gold were its two regal and calm eyes which seemed to contain an entire world made of water, just like Percy's Sperm Donor (Poseidon)..

'Holy fuck.' Percy internally cursed as he didn't dare open his mouth, his eyes locked onto the mile-long creature coasting through the sky with ease. The pressure of the Sea of Monsters was nowhere to be seen either as it continued to lazily fly. Its four massive legs seemed to perform a swimming motion along as his long body performed a snake-like one. Percy stayed completely still as the dragon continued on its way.

The pressure from its mere presence matched the same level of an angry Poseidon, yet as the minutes passed the beast continued on its way completely ignoring Percy. Several minutes had finally passed as the last remaining shadow passed overhead, the golden world finally turning back into a world of blue. Percy couldn't help but look back at the majestic being as it continued on its way as he let out a stale breath.

"..." Just then a distant yell could be heard as Percy raised an eyebrow and turned to see a figure riding what looked to be a… golden cloud coming his way.

"...jsty!" The distant shout only grew as the figure quickly approached as Percy got a full look at them as they rushed his way.

The person in question was actually a woman in a white robe with black edges that took the form of a scholarly robe with golden dragon designs all over it but not in an extreme manner. She even had on the black hat that hid away most of her hair except for two long parts that framed her face. As she got even closer Percy could even begin to see a black frame pair of glasses sitting on her nose and a very worried and panicked look on her face.

"Your Majesty we must go back! The meeting starts in an hour and we must keep on schedule! Your Majesty! Please slow down at least, I can only fly so fast through this place!" She screamed in a worried tone yet the distant dragon did not seem to care as it continued on its way. Her face then seemed to fill with regret as she seemed to choke down a scream of anger that threatened to fall from her lips. Just then her eyes seemed to find Percy who was staring at her with wide eyes.

"Uhhhhhh… Hello." Percy said with a small wave of a hand as she responded with a stare of her own as her face revealed a face of shock.

"H-H-H-Hello," She managed to muster out a single word as the two of them just stared at each other in an awkward silence. She even stopped her small cloud as the moment seemed to only continue onwards. Even though the two weren't talking, information was being exchanged as they observed one another.

The women could clearly tell Percy was not from their Pantheon due to his presence alone and his giant wings on his back. Percy already knew that she was from the Chinese pantheon and seemed to be an attendant to the giant dragon. They even sent a few invisible auras at one another as if testing the strength of the other person without harming them. Percy quickly determined the woman was at least immortal on the level of a normal Greek god. The girl couldn't seem to actually see through Percy's strength as a thick illusionary mist hindered most of her aura probes.

"Quit bothering the boy Yun! Were you not the one who said we had a meeting to attend!?" A deep but calm grumble suddenly was heard as it shook the sky and water around the two of them. This caused Percy and the woman by the name of Yun to jump a bit. The woman instantly seemed to grow flustered as she quickly responded,

"I am sorry your majesty Wang! I am deeply sorry!" She yelled as she quickly bowed and started to continue in the direction of the dragon. Yet she and Percy exchanged one last glance before they parted ways. This left Percy alone in the open sea with a cloud of confusion that swirled in his mind. Several thoughts crossed his mind as he couldn't help but just stare in the direction the two beings went, finally he ever so slowly let out a sigh and rubbed both his temples.

"Why am I so good at getting into situations like these?" Percy could help but ask himself as if he would get an answer. Unfortunately for him, he did get an answer.

'Because you're a trouble magnet. Oh, and a mysterious event magnet.' Alpha said with a snicker as Percy grimaced.

'Indeed, your luck is truly atrocious or miraculous. Not only did you run into a being holding true dragon blood but they even seemed to take note of you. I presume this being is one of the Chinese Pantheons." Barbatos said as Percy glanced one last time to see the two beings fully disappear from his sight. His mind filled with questions but none of which could be answered at the moment.

"Do you think they planned this?" Percy couldn't help but ask.

"No, their intentions are true, they had no idea you were here. It was a pure coincidence they met you, at least that is what I got from the big shiny lizard." Alpha said as Percy couldn't help but imagine that insane-looking clown picking his nose and then flicking whatever he got from it.

*Sigh*

"Well let's keep going, I don't think anything will come from this for the moment," Percy said, jumping off the sea and then flapping his wings before shooting off towards his destination.

LINEBREAK:

"Hmmm… I think I'm close, this seems like the cliff of 'more' jagged rocks and not the 'most' jagged rocks." Percy said looking at the cliff not too far away with a large variety of jagged and dangerous-looking rocks. One small slip from any living being would instantly send them to Hades, the cliff even had some old and new boats stranded on it giving it a very eerie vibe.

'You sure this isn't the 'most' jagged rocks area?' Alpha asked as Percy glanced at the rocks again and slowly mulled over what he just asked him. Percy couldn't help but sigh a bit before stuffing the pamphlet back into his shirt.

"Why doesn't this thing have a map and only has written directions?" He couldn't help but ask as he released another deep sigh.

'Like I have mentioned boss, this place is like the Labyrinth you visited a long time ago. It uses the mist and everything to change the locations of places except for a select few. If you are unlucky you may have to spend a week looking for C.C's resort.' Barbatos said as Percy's frown deepened a bit as he rubbed his temples a little before glancing out at the sea and the rocky cliff. As he did his eyes seemed to swirl a little as an aura fused into them as a box quickly appeared in front of his vision

Area information

Name: Sea of Monsters

Location: Possibly next to the 'most' jagged rocks… you'll figure it out

General information: A sea that is born from a deep mist and many legends, a place where monsters and beings gather to hide from the world. The sea also is known to play tricks on mortals and immortals alike, it also hates things that fly in its sky.

Special information: The sea notices your piercing gaze and veils itself with a thick mist

"This motherfucking place…" Percy couldn't help but say in a frustrated tone while looking at the information his eyes of creation picked up. He could already tell the Sea of Monsters was messing with him and how well he could gather information, especially the location he was at and the special information part.

'Hahaha! This place is far more interesting than I thought!' Alpha burst out laughing in Percy's head as Percy clicked his tongue and pushed Alpha into a quiet place in his mind.

"Well, it could be worse," Percy said with a partially irritated tone before freezing in place as he realized the words that just fell from his mouth. His eyes widened a lot as the 'forbidden demigod saying' left his lips and he suddenly felt like crying. Without even moving from his spot the ground shook a bit as bits and pieces of the rocks surrounding him crumble apart.

'Poor choice of words.' Barbatos said with a sigh of his own as Percy truly felt like crying now. At the same time, his eyes of creation seemed to pick up one of the moving rocks as a screen of information popped into his view.

Individual information

Name: Charybdis

Race: Monster (Giant sea creature)

Size: You shouldn't ask a women her size

Main Occupation: Monster in Sea of Monsters

Emotional status: Extremely hungry, Angry, Frustrated

Current thoughts: ...…. Food... Hungry...…

"Well, shit," Percy said before a huge aura escaped from the massive maw that he was currently residing on the edge. He hadn't realized it before but he was currently resting on a giant tooth of the sea monster below him. Just then the aura slammed into him and seemed to swap gravity itself as he felt a large pull from the forming whirlpool in the very center.

The rest of the rocks and rubble around him seemed to crumble away quickly as he soon realized the entire cliff area was fake. A well-formed disguise from the mile-long beast that swam in the sea below. He was honestly surprised Charybdis could think of such a thing as the screen in front of him depicted her thoughts. Time was not on his side though as more teeth emerged from the sea and the fake cliffs.

Several hundred feet of ocean had turned into a whirlpool that only increased in intensity as the aura from the monster did as well. Percy didn't even try to fly due to the artificial gravity, knowing he would be pulled inside the instant he did as he watched a few flocks of seagulls be pulled down from the sky and into the sea. Instead, he jumped from the innermost tooth and towards the quickly-growing teeth that came from the depths of the ocean. Thankfully he was more than strong enough to fight against the pull from her aura as he found himself on the outermost razor-sharp tooth.

Looking back all Percy could see was that all of the water had been drained down her gullet revealing her throat that was filled with hundreds if not thousands of massive sharp teeth. Then the smell hit him as Percy gagged a bit, it was a cross between rotten fish that had been left out in the hot sun for too long and a pile of used gym towels covered in shit. It even made his eyes sting a bit as he was forced to blink away a few stray tears.

Thankfully Charybdis didn't actually seem to notice Percy lingering on one of her teeth and semi out of harm's way as she continued with her meal. He could see hundreds of thousands of fish in all shapes and sizes from minnows to monsters being cut into chum from her throat teeth. Yet the gravity of her aura remained as he decided to simply wait it out, not wanting to give her something to chase.

"The closer you are to danger the farther you are from harm," Percy thought to himself while holding his nose and trying not to gag as he continued to watch the monster/garbage disposal go to work. Then her throat began to close in a chewing-like motion as Percy assumed she was getting closer to finishing up. Percy wished he could simply fly away but he was more than sure the Sea of Monsters would not let that happen and neither would Charybdis.

His mind began to think of options to escape as he knew he could activate his domain of the sea and escape. But with a super-sized legendary monster of the sea that used to be a goddess and a literal sea after you, it outmatched his current level of strength by a bit. Knowing that even if he simply fled he wouldn't know the outcome simply because he didn't know the extent of the Sea of Monsters strength over suppressing him. Plus he wasn't willing to risk pushing himself over the limit this far away from home without backup.

"Hmmm…" Percy continued to think as he pursed his lips together and put on a thinking face worthy of Athena. At least that is what Artemis and Hera would say.

'May either of us be of assistance?' Barbatos asked him as Percy thought for a moment.

'Can either of you swim faster than this thing or withstand the pressure of the sea without tearing my body apart while allowing me to escape far enough away?' He asked as a silence filled his mind for a bit.

'I can run on the water pretty fast, but to escape the tunnel of hunger beneath you? It depends on how fast she moves, looking at her size though, and how fast she drained that much water. I would say she would catch up pretty fast.' Alpha said as Percy pursed his lips together even harder.

'What if we freeze the sea around her? You would equip me and I could use your domain in tandem with my sword to increase its power and freeze her for a bit.' Barbatos suggested as Percy shook his head.

'That would leave me too drained and do you honestly think you can freeze so much of her to give us time? She has to be over a mile long at least.' Percy said as he picked up signals from the water that filled him in on just how large Charybdis really was. Or at least as much as she let him onto, though he figured she wasn't hiding much at the moment.

'Hmm…' All three minds hummed in sync inside Percy's head as they all put on a thinking face for a bit until a smooth grin slowly spread on Percy's face. A chuckle even escaped him causing him to take a whiff of the awful smell which made him cough a bit.

'Got an idea?' Both asked him as Percy grinned some more before reaching underneath his jacket and pulling out a small messenger bag that was slung over his shoulder. This little bag was his backpack which just like his hoodie had a very nice transformation ability bestowed on it by Hera herself after a small request.

'The answer was right in front of us the whole time, she would chase me simply because of how hungry she is. So… I just have to feed her until she is full!' Percy said proudly before transforming the messenger bag into a duffle bag with a proud look on his face.

SMALL LINEBREAK:

"That is going to be 200 dollars, pay up hehe."

"...Fuck your hotels."

"Language."

"LaNGuaGe."

"Being real mature Tracy."

"Mature? I'll show you mature!"

"Tracy…"

"...Yes Mom, here is your stupid money Zoe."

"Why thank you very much," Zoe happily took the play money from a frustrated Tracy as the daughter of Apollo looked ready to flip the table.

"Please not a 6, I pray to whoever, please not a 6," Artemis said in a begging tone as everyone laughed a bit at her words before the goddess rolled the dice giving her a 4 as she heaved a sigh of relief and moved her piece.

"Zoe trade me your railroad already, I have the money just hand it over and nobody has to get hurt," Vesta said as Zoe rolled her eyes at the goddess' words, clearly not even entertaining the idea as a frustrated Vesta waved around her fake cash in the air. Off to the side watching the mayhem that was Monopoly proceed were Hestia, Hera, Calista, and Cammy, the four of them working on a much less stressful puzzle at the moment.

"Is every family game night like this?" Cammy questioned as Hestia glanced at the girls arguing about trading properties before reluctantly sighing and nodding.

"We should come over more often for these," Cammy said with a grin as Cally rolled her eyes and gave her a soft chop to the head causing Cammy to stick out her tongue in a playful manner.

"You should see it when they play video games, gods forbid Artemis and Zoe to play mortal kombat together. Let's not forget how competitive Hestia and Vesta are in Sonic Adventures 2." Hera said with a small grin as a light pinch was felt on her leg from the hearth goddess as she gave her a soft pouty face.

"What about you Hera? Do you enjoy any board or video games?" Cally asked as Hera shrugged a little as if not knowing what to say before a laugh drew their gazes to Artemis who was looking over at them.

"She has been obsessed and I mean obsessed with a game called Mario Party 8 for the last 2 months. Every chance she can get us or the kids to play she will." Artemis said with a playful look in her eyes as Hera gave a light blush and cough.

"I… may enjoy it a little."

"She never uses anyone but the Yoshi."

"I-I enjoy the small green dinosaur. What of it?"

"Every time he says 'yahoo' she whispers 'yahoo' as well."

"Y-You guys." Hera with a light golden blush on her face as she couldn't believe her secrets were being outed so easily to Cally and Cammy as the two laughed along with the others. Just then Hestia and Vesta made an awkward thinking face.

"Something wrong Firefly?" Zoe asked Vesta as the Roman goddess seemed to blink in confusion; she shook her head in response before stopping and then slowly nodding.

"Are you feeling this?" Vesta asked her counterpart as Hestia nodded, the two now both had on a look of pure confusion as if they were witnessing someone doing something extremely dumb.

"Are you two okay?" Artemis asked out of concern as both goddesses quickly nodded.

"Yes, we are. It is just… something is draining a decent chunk of our aura away by using an item we blessed." Hestia spoke slowly as if trying to figure it out herself, seeing the two were okay at the moment everyone paid attention to them as they figured out what was happening.

"It feels like the pull is coming from Percy's bag though… what in the world does he need so much food for?" Vesta said as everyone exchanged a glance with each other.

"Food?" Tracy questioned as Hestia nodded.

"We blessed his bag to summon food just in case he ever needed it, when he does use the bag to summon food it uses up a tiny portion of our own aura to make the food since it isn't previously made. But it is something that we shouldn't feel even if he summons a full-course meal for 5 people. Right now he has summoned more than an Olympic-sized pool of soup alone! He has even summoned several dozen tons of food besides that!" She said in an exasperated tone as everyone blinked in surprise.

"What kind of soup?" Artemis suddenly asked as everyone turned to her as she blushed under their stares.

"It's clam chowder," Vesta said with a laugh before giving another weird look as her brows furrowed together. She even threw her hands up in the air in a 'what the heck' motion.

"Who needs that many lasagnas?! Is he feeding the world's largest Garfield?"

  LINEBREAK END:

'Are you sure this is the proper course of action you need to take?' Barbatos said as Percy kept shaking the duffle back as fully cooked lasagnas fell from it and into the gaping maw of Charybdis.

"It's working, isn't it? I mean she even got rid of her aura that was causing the gravity." Percy said happily from his spot in the sky now that the gravity field had disappeared. His wings kept him in the air as he continued with the task at hand as the lasagnas switched to fully cooked hams.

'I just don't think the fiery twins will be too pleased about your abuse of their blessing.' Alpha said as Percy inwardly grimaced, he had forgotten that this was going to put a strain on their energy reserves.

"I'm sure it will be fine, it is for my own safety after all. I'll explain it fully when we meet up with them at the island," Percy said with a bit of confidence in the beginning that quickly faded to a mumble at the end. After that the only sounds were that of hams falling through the air and into the hungry beast below that had started to happily chew away.

Percy then noticed the air in front of him shimmering a bit as if an Iris message was going to appear but the screen was full of static. Percy could already guess who was calling him, yet he didn't stop with his food dumping as he waited to see if the Iris message would connect. He wasn't sure if it was the sea of monsters interfering or simply how far away he was but the message finally solidified on an image that said 'sound only'.

"What are you doing?" A curious and angry tone of a certain goddess of the Hearth asked him from the other side as he let out a nervous chuckle.

"Would you believe me if I said I ran into some of my family and I am currently feeding them?" He asked with a small grin but his words were met with silence from the other side. He could practically feel the glare through the Iris message even if he couldn't see the goddess herself.

"Be serious or I swear on the Hearth I will… do something unpleasant!" She nearly yelled at him as glanced down at the giant chewing monster below.

"Little flame it is best to leave the threats to me, Percy tell us or the couch will be your new bed for the next year." Zoe's calm but equally angry voice came from the other end this time as Percy felt a shiver down his spine.

"I'm currently pacifying Charybdis so that she doesn't eat me." Percy fully admitted as silence came from the other side for a bit.

"Like… the giant sea monster?" Artemis' worried tone came from the other side with a small gulp.

"Yep, the one and only. If it makes you feel better I think she is getting full." Percy said as he noticed the monster was chewing far slower than before, Percy also began to tone down the waterfall of food coming from the bag.

"She better have after all the food you summoned! Wait! That isn't the point, are you okay?" Vesta's angry but concerned tone filled the air as Percy chuckled a little.

"A bit worn out from the traveling already but otherwise I am fit as a fiddle," Percy said as a collective sigh of relief came from the other side of the screen.

"That's good to hear, you had us worried. Especially your adorable girlfriends, you should have seen their faces when you said Charybdis. Hestia looked ready to jump in her chariot in an instant." Cally's worried but playful tone said as Percy blinked in surprise, he didn't know his mom was with them.

"C-Cally! You didn't have to say it like that!" Hestia's embarrassed voice said, earning a round of laughter, yet Percy could tell she wasn't the only one who was ready to rush his way at a moment's notice.

"I love you all." Percy suddenly said in a meaningful tone with a small smile playing on his lips.

"Hehe… I love you too cutie,"

"S-So embarrassing… I-I love you too,"

"I love you more space brain,"

"Y-You just can't say that out of the blue geez… I love you too… idiot…"

"Aww I love you too sweetie, oh my I don't think I've seen so many goddesses blush at once hehe. Well, you get back to it, I will handle this rowdy bunch. Take care of yourself Perseus." Cally said using his full name as Percy nodded quickly.

"T-Take care of yourself Percy, I expect to see a healthy you at 8 am at C.C's Resort come Saturday." Suddenly the voice of Hera joined in right at the end as the message dissolved. Percy was left with a small grin on his face when he suddenly heard a giant rumble from below as he found Charybdis slowly chewing on a few remaining piles of food.

Percy didn't quite know how many hundreds of tons of food disappeared into her gullet but it seemed she had finally hit her limit. Another rumble shook the ocean as Percy realized it was akin to a burp of satisfaction. Thankfully due to the mountains of good-smelling food, he was only hit by a breeze of breath that smelled of apple pies and clam chowder. Not the best combination but it was still many levels better than before.

"Finally full huh?" Percy asked, turning his bag back into the small messenger bag from before and strapping it back onto his shoulder. Seeing the giant monster was finally pacified he started to look around to find a good direction he frowned a bit before suddenly he felt a small tingle in his senses as an unfamiliar voice entered his mind.

'North… East… 150 miles… Island… you… look… for… thanks… for… food… brother…' A woman's voice that sounded like a sea breeze whispered in his mind. Percy blinked in surprise as he looked down to see Charybdis slowly sinking back into the ocean as his eyes widened a little bit. He couldn't help but use his eyes of creation again as a different information page lit up in his vision.

Individual information

Name: Charybdis

Race: Monster (Giant sea creature)

Size: You shouldn't ask a woman her size

Main Occupation: Monster in Sea of Monsters

Emotional status: Content, tired, remorseful, scared, sleepy

Current thoughts: Must… leave… before… hunger… returns… cannot… risk… harming… brother… Must… Sleep…

Reading her thoughts Percy felt a sudden drop in his gut as he realized that her sanity had actually returned after he had fed her so much food. He honestly didn't know how to feel after reading that, a mix of emotions filled his mind as he continued to stare downwards before he could no longer see Charybdis.

'There is nothing you can do master, at least not yet.' Barbatos's voice filled his mind again as Percy gave a reluctant sigh. He knew of Charybdis' legend, another being cursed by the gods due to simple jealousy and paranoia. A being who only wanted to help others and was punished for it. Yet Percy knew Barbatos was right, there was nothing he could do at this moment.

"One day I will be back and I will help you, I promise, for now, I wish you the best sister. I hope you can sleep and rest as much as you want." Percy said before letting out a sigh and focusing his eyes Northeast saw darker clouds filling the sky miles away. Seeing his destination wrapped in such weather he could only take a deep breath and flap his wings as he started his journey once again

LINEBREAK:

LOCATION: C.C's Spa & Resort

"Gosh, could today get any more boring?" A girl complained while letting out a huge sigh, all she could do was absentmindedly go through a magazine with the name 'Aphrodite Monthly'. Her eyes occasionally glanced outside the reception office glass walls as light rain made its way through the barrier onto the island. Further outside the barrier, she could see a storm crashing into it as heavy rain and waves littered the sea.

"Vessa just shut up and be happy we get an easy day when all the Nephele and Nereids are busy out playing in the storm. Without that storm, we would be busy as usual." Her coworker chastised her as Vessa rolled her eyes and turned to her business partner, the girl beside her leaned back in her chair with a face mask on and cucumbers on her eyes. Clearly enjoying the extremely slow day without any customers to bug them.

"I guess…" She said with a sigh then turned back to watch the storm when she suddenly noticed something strange in the storm. A flash of blue light seemed to draw her attention as she noticed the light drawing closer and closer to the island. Her eyes slowly began to widen as she began to make out two large blue wings that were emitting light in the dark storm clouds. Before she knew it the being with the wings had approached even closer and was heading right for the island at an extreme speed.

"W-We have company." Vessa managed to say just in time for her to see a huge wave race towards the being. Just as it was about to crash onto them only for them to burst out the other side completely unscathed. Like a divine spear, the being with the wings cut through the waves and rain like they were nothing. Finally, the being passed through the barrier surrounding the island as they flew over the docks in a mere second.

"What?"

*Boom!*

Before her coworker could take the cucumbers off her eyes a resounding boom sounded from outside the reception room as the figure landed just outside. The figure slowly stood up from his crouching position from the landing and seemed to shake his wings as if stretching a bit. Both girls sat slightly stunned in their chairs as they watched the huge wings slowly fold up behind the back of the figure and magically disappear, only a puddle of water was left on the ground behind the man as he started to walk forward.

"Finally actual land, oh how I missed walking." He said with a hint of joy in his voice as he opened the front door and finally made it inside the building. His galaxy-like eyes glanced around taking in the view before landing on the women as a smile crossed his face and quickly made his way towards them.

"Uhhh…" Vessa was more than stunned now as she couldn't help but stare at the literal definition of a perfect man right in front of her. Everything about him was so perfect from the shoes on his feet, to the tight clothes hugging his body, his breathtaking face, and even the slightly wet hair on his head. She was lost in thought as her imagination ran wild with multiple fantasies right off the bat. Just then a ding of a bell snapped her out of all thoughts as she blushed and focused her mind.

"Evening, I am here to apply for the week-long all-inclusive package." He said happily as Vessa just nodded, her coworker on the other hand was desperately cleaning her face at the moment. Just then Vessa seemed to remember something as a small hint of sourness filled her mind and crushed any fantasies that still filled her mind.

'What a waste of a perfectly good man.' She thought to herself before giving him a small smile.

"Of course, what week were you looking for, and for how many? Also, what is a name I can put down for the booking?" She asked while flipping open a book with plenty of records in it.

"Go ahead and put down Percy Jackson for the name. The reservation will be next week from Saturday to the next Sunday and it will be for 12 possibly 13 people. There will be 2 children, possibly 3, do you have any amenities for them or features for the spa? I didn't see anything in the pamphlet and was curious. I was also wondering how safe this place was. I saw the barrier but was just curious."

Hearing Percy's list of questions the girl simply nodded along before hearing the last one, her lip slightly twitching in response as her thoughts ran amok for a second. All she could do was banish her thoughts as she gave an award-winning smile and started to list off answers to all his questions. Percy happily absorbed the knowledge and even received a daily schedule of special events for that week. Before too long his reservation was fully set up and he happily paid the huge amount of 2900 drachma.

'God he is rich too! Ugh!' Vessa screamed in her head yet nothing showed on her face as Percy happily took his receipt.

"Oh? A guest?" As if on cue a stunningly beautiful woman with long dark hair that had threads of gold in her braid. She had two piercing green eyes that seemed to stare into your soul and were surrounded by her ancient Greek features. Unlike the girls who both wore simple but elegant chitons, she wore a mysterious silk dress that seemed to depict animal shadows that moved across its fabric as if they were alive.

As she came into the reception office, each of her steps brought a click of a heel as Percy and the two girls turned towards her. Percy felt a shiver pass through his spine as his nerves seemed to focus on the mysterious woman before him. In a single moment, their eyes locked with one another as they seemed to scan each other. Percy instantly knew that this woman was not as simple as she appeared.

From her aura alone he could sense she was a god, at least a minor one. Even though he knew he could fight a minor god and win he was not sure he could win on her home ground. This island seemed to have a deep connection with her and he was more than sure she could draw a huge benefit from it.

"Indeed, I just booked my stay actually. My name is Percy Jackson, who might you be?" He asked her as the woman froze for a quarter of a second before blinking and giving him a smile.

"Me? I am only the owner of this fine establishment. You can call me Miss CC." She said with a smile that made Percy pause as he sensed a hint of something from it. Yet he couldn't put his finger on it before she grabbed some papers from the receptionist he had spoken to and glanced over them.

"It is not often we see someone make such a large reservation for so many people, since you have spent so much it would be shameful of me to not give you preferential treatment. Please follow me to my office. I would like to go over a few extra… features that my establishment can provide." She continued with a mysterious smile before walking away, Percy didn't even have a chance to talk with her as he simply gave a soft sigh and followed behind her.

Before too long Percy was in a very interesting office, it appeared to be a naturally formed cave in a mountainside that had a bit of a remodel. The office held a certain design that was a mixture of ancient Greek and modern and was very tasteful in many ways. Yet Percy couldn't help but find himself staring out of the giant glass wall overlooking the entire resort and most of the island. His eyes glanced over the waterpark that seemed to be melded with nature itself to beachside lounges bars that appeared to have been built on the softest of sands.

"The pamphlet does your establishment no justice." Percy couldn't help but say as the woman gave a light chuckle as she placed the papers on her desk and snapped her fingers. An instant later a girl walked into the room holding a tray holding two multi-colored drinks. Percy glanced at her to find the young girl, she had silky black hair woven into a simple braid, piercing black eyes, and soft brown skin.

"Thank you, Reyna, just leave them on the table," CC said as the girl gave a soft nod and did as she was told. Percy felt her eyes linger on him for a simple moment as he turned his gaze to her to see her eyes analyzing him with a hint of remorse. Raising an eyebrow at the girl while she simply ignored him, without a word she gave a soft bow before leaving as Percy couldn't help but turn towards CC.

"A daughter of Bellona as a servant?" He questioned as CC paused for a second under his question while she grabbed her drink and motioned for Percy to grab his. In a simple motion, Percy grabbed it as he looked at the multi-colored liquid that sported the colors of the rainbow.

"She was met with hardships and ended up in my care, a common story for demigods," She said with a sigh while taking a sip of her drink as Percy lowly swirled his in his hand.

"Hmm… a common story I can't help but agree with, but a daughter of war and destruction does not belong in the role of a servant."

"It seems we have a common opinion, still this place has no such roles she can take besides this. Besides, in a few months, she will have completed her task of service and be freed of her duties. She will be free to relax and enjoy this place as much as she wishes, but enough talk let us drink  to your arrival." She said with a grin as Percy eyed the drink for a second as a fragrant scent of fruit and even a hint of cookies filled his nose.

"I am not of age, I am afraid I cannot partake in this." He said with a sigh as he imagined several women nagging him about him drinking anything remotely alcohol.

"Oh? This drink is only different fruit juices and a bit of ambrosia nothing more. It is the most popular drink on the island for all ages." She said with a brilliant smile Percy felt a tingle in the back of his neck as he listened to her words.

Something about this whole situation seemed off, from this woman's smile, to how she acted around him, and even how eager she appeared for him to drink. Ever so slowly Percy couldn't help but place his lips to the edge of the glass as a wonderful scent filled his nose, the tingle on his spine grew immensely as he did. The scent of the drink was so sweet it seemed almost too good to be true. It was at that moment something seemed to spark in his mind as he pulled away the glass and the woman's lip visibly twitched a tiny bit.

"I just realized I was forgetting something, I was told to give this to the owner," Percy said quickly before pulling open his messenger bag and grabbing the letter that Ananke had given him. CC seemed to have a tiny amount of frustration pass over her face as her facade began to crack a tiny amount, her green eyes seeming to be tainted with a hint of a poisonous green.

"A letter?" She questioned before glancing at the letter and then freezing in place, a symbol of a snake wrapping around an egg was present on its wax seal.

"W-Who gave you that?" She asked with a shaky voice as Percy's neck tingle seemed to dissipate rapidly, a sly grin couldn't help but spread across his face as he set down his drink and the letter on her table. Then ever so slowly he pushed the letter towards the shaking minor goddess who leaned back a bit to distance herself from it. Yet her green eyes never left the letter as he stood back up.

"A very close friend gave it to me," Percy said as the woman glanced up at him with nervous eyes, their poisonous green color long gone as she timidly reached out and grabbed the letter. Ever so slowly she cracked the wax seal on the letter and just then a sudden burst of silvery white aura flooded from the letter. The goddess sat frozen as the letter forcefully opened on its own revealing its contents to the minor goddess as her face froze in shock.

The silvery-white aura then began to coalesce into a figure as Percy instantly recognized the veiled figure of a miniature Ananke, it seemed the primordial goddess sent a bit more than a letter. The miniature Ananke floated right above the letter as CC seemed to have a fear course over her entire body. The aura made the whole room shake as a pressure began to expand and cover the minor goddess before two glowing eyes locked onto her.

"I-I'm sorry." CC automatically apologized before any words were spoken from the tiny primordial. Yet this did not seem to deter the small Ananke as a small glare escaped her glowing eyes.

"You have one chance, do not waste it. Harm this boy or any of his companions and your precious island will become nothing but rubble under the ocean waves." The tiny Ananke spoke in a surprisingly deep tone as CC rapidly nodded and agreed to every demand the tiny primordial had.

"Yes goddess, I completely understand," CC said in a very submissive tone as her face showed a massive amount of fear, Percy on the other hand had an interesting look on his face while a knowing grin spread across his face.

"You best understand! Or you will be the one turning into a pig for once Circe! An immortal one at that! I will keep tabs on him as well so don't go doing any stupid shit!" Ananke yelled as Circe seemed to shrink in her seat even more as all her golden blood seemed to drain from her body. With a small 'hmph' the tiny Ananke glared at the goddess before dissipating into a gust of wind, the letter even turned into ash as Circe was left drained of all energy in her seat.

"Let me guess… pig transformation magic is in the drink?" Percy couldn't help but ask with a grin as Circe slowly looked at him with a disheveled look.

"N-No…"

"So you won't mind if I-."

"PLEASE PUT DOWN THE DRINK! I BEG OF YOU!"

A/N: What is your playlist for a such a journey? Gotta always have Nickelback just saying! Also a new encounter with a fancy golden dragon and a close relative who had a bit of the munchies. Also Who wants a sip of the mysterious liquid? I promise it tastes great! Regardless I hope you all enjoy the chapter and I apologize for the delay. I hope in the future I can be a bit faster but life is life and sometimes things happen, but do not worry! I will not stop I promise you all!!!

E/N: I gave a wee bit of a spoil in the server with the line I shared, but it gave nothing away for Charybdis! I also can NOT wait for Percy to fix everyone, from Charybdis, Arachne, all the other cursed "monsters". I am so hype to see the gods get their due justice! Anyway, please leave reviews and the likes, also because we've had a few haters; if you hate it so much, why read this far (32 chapters) and especially why waste your own time writing a comment? To deter the writer? It only gives us a laugh. Anywayyyyyy let me not get into a rant! I will see you all around. Big plans are coming for the end of the year!~ - The one and only Sidus de Obitus Lupae, Sol
