The sun shone brightly upon the girl who was lying on the ground and as she opened her eyes, she squinted them uncomfortably. A tiny drop of sweat streamed down to her cheek from her half-moon-like forehead.
"Are you alright?" The girl heard a voice behind her ear. She looked in that direction only to see another girl worriedly looking at her with a pair of hazel eyes.
"Who are you?" The girl who was still lying on the ground like a dead tree asked looking around, she looked down at herself to see she was wearing a high school uniform.
The uniform was a gown that reached an inch above the knees. A red tie was casually wrapped around the skinny looking girl's neck. Her whole persona looked messy.
it was an afternoon in the summer and the weather was so hot, the girl was sweating all over like an open tap.
The girl who spoke to her earlier widened her eyes in shock. "Thea, What are you saying?" She asked... nope, she almost yelled.
'Thea?'
Wondering what she was talking about, the girl on the ground popped up her exhausted body to sit up.
She glanced at her well-manicured and delicate hands…
'Delicate? The heck!'
Her hands were always rough due to her hardworking life.
'What the hell is going on?'
She didn't want to scare the girl beside her. First of all, she had to figure out what was happening to her by herself.
"Nothing, I'm just tired." She held her forehead and blurted out.
She looked around once again. She was in a school environment and it seemed like she was a high school student. A high school student... The memories of her school life popped up in her mind. It was such a long time ago, more like an eternity.
"Can you bring me back to our class?" She asked softly to the girl who had red, glittering hair that reached her slender shoulders.
"Oh, sure. I think nothing will happen again. Be careful with Aaron." The red hair girl warned before reaching out her hand to help Thea to stand up.
'Aaron?'
A thought suddenly popped up in Thea's mind and the girl facepalmed herself. Gosh! It seemed like it wasn't fake at all. She did succeed after all.
"You mean Aaron Blake Anderson?" Thea asked to confirm her doubts... just in case. Red hair girl sighed heavily.
She curled up her toes as she said, "Who else other than that devil? How many times I had told you not to provoke him!? You never listened to me. See... you got into trouble once again."
Despite her babblings, which could make someone sad, guilty and angry, actually Thea laughed clapping her hands as if the other girl made a joke just then.
"Hey, are you crazy?" Samantha blurted out angrily and confusingly.
"Gosh, the wizard is right. I came to the future, future...Wow! The future is great, hooray!!! I can now experience anything and everything!"
Thea started dancing happily. But that dance was a weird one although it was quite elegant.
"Being stubborn for once is obviously a good thing," She exclaimed between her dance.
"But wait a minute!" Thea suddenly stopped her happy dance and turned to Samantha. "What did you call me earlier?"
"I called you by your name, you fool. Who else called Thea in here apart from you? Looks like heat stroke damaged your brain too." Samantha uttered sarcastically.
Thea's face turned pale when she heard that.
'Why? Why on earth, did I become the villainess of all characters? No freaking way! I'm doomed.'
Thea started shivering due to her fear. She cursed while clenching her fists.
"Damn! Why didn't I become Sofia, the female lead... Why??? That potion really had the guts to do that to me!"
Samantha raised her eyebrows looking extremely confused.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" She asked.
Thea rolled her eyes. "You won't understand it, silly girl. You are just a minor character not even as important as me although I'm just a cannon folder."
Samantha gave her a weird look. "I'm so stupid. I even wasted my time on a crazy person like you." She said through gritted teeth.
Thea shrugged her shoulders. "Don't mind me then." She simply said appearing nonchalant.
"You are so weird. I can't understand you at all." Samantha mumbled frowning like an aunty.
"Even I can't understand myself. I'm dreaming, right? Or am I going crazy for real? But this era is fascinating though." Thea said looking around and laughing hysterically. She really did appear like a mad girl.
"These buildings look beautiful and... and tall... more developed... Oh, the vehicles here are wow! Just too incredible. Our cars are just too old and small even old fashioned compared to them nope, they can't at least be comparable. Aaah, by the way what's that? That tower looks like a cheese, hee hee..."
Samantha rolled her eyes looking extremely annoyed.
She turned to leave but Thea hopped over to accompany her. She stopped talking and quietly observed the surroundings while walking.
Samantha heaved a sigh of relief when the whole place went silent. Finally, she got her freedom from this troublemaker.
Sofia saw the two of them coming towards the class. She narrowed her eyes unhappily. Then she poked her blue eyes, using her index fingers. Immediately they turned red and tears welled up.
After preparing her fake tears, Sofia ran towards Aaron. She cried and tugged to his sleeve.
"She... She's coming casually like nothing had happened at all. Aaron, I'm scared."
Aaron's heart ached for the cute girl who was holding onto him seeking his protection like a wounded innocent deer.
He helplessly stroked her hair saying, "Don't worry, I'll teach her another lesson right now. Let me scare her to the point of never thinking about carrying ill intentions towards you for this life time."
With that, he quickened his steps to catch up with the criminal who hurt his beloved.
"Thea! Stop there."
Thea instantly paused and looked in the direction where the sound came from. Soon Aaron stood in front of her with his imposing aura.
He glared at her with his murderous gaze.
Thea raised her eyebrows before shooting him a suspicious look like a police officer who examined a criminal.
"You look kinda special. What's your character?"
Aaron was speechless. He gritted his teeth and yelled at her. "What nonsense are you babbling? Don't act dumb with me."
Samantha pinched Thea's arm and whispered, "Hey are you stupid or something? I asked you to stay away from this guy. But, you! What exactly are you trying to do?"
Thea clicked her tongue.
Tsk...
'Oh, he's the male lead!' She tied up her messy hair and blinked her big, round eyes looking innocent and pure like a little white lotus from a Chinese romance novel.
"I'm sorry. I'm stupid. You should forgive me, Lord Aaron. Let's forget our hostility and be friends." Thea's voice was filled with hidden anticipation. She even pouted so adorably.
Aaron smirked. "Be friends with a person like you? Are you dreaming? Listen, Thea, do you think I will fall for your little tricks? Do you think I'm so stupid like that?"
Thea sighed heavily. 'Why can't this guy understand my language? Looks like I have to work hard in order to change the plot.
Aaah, too troublesome!!!'
"Then just be my boyfriend." She blurted out nonchalantly with a sweet smile. 'How's that? Dumbfounded?'
"What?"
