Synopsis
Everyone has some kind of goal they deem noble. But does everyone see it the same way? To achieve your goal, what are you willing to do? Sacrifice your life? Or the lives of others? Would you do anything to achieve it? Going as far as to start a war? For this Noble goal, how much are you willing to offer? _____ “Chosen ones? That’s a fancy title, but in the end. It’s just a title.” A long time ago, innovation and creation ruled the world. Technology was everywhere, robots and holograms were the norm. However, creatures seen as demons and angels invaded. Human technology is unable to keep up with the supernatural. From manipulating elements to summoning weapons, they slowly lost to the invaders. However, all hope was not lost when humans themselves started to manifest such said powers. Even if it's weaker, they have technology to help them. Right? "Now now, why should I bow to others when I can make others bow before me!" Slowly, the divided human race started to show more cracks. Humans with different mindsets split, all having their own goal in mind, with new powers to back them up. Threats everywhere, but the solution for them doesn't seem to increase any time soon. "I don't want to live so divided anymore! Not only between humans, but the world as a whole." Such a bold idea was spoken after countless years, receiving little to no approval. However, that didn't discourage the brave soul. Causing him to keep finding like minded people. A demon heard of his action, and was fascinated by such a noble yet foolish mindset. "Human, your lifespan is limited. Leave it to the next generation, I shall help you search for those with such a mindset." Without thinking much, he agreed to pass on this Noble Mission to the future generation. Unaware of the demon scheme. ———————————— Chapter will be published every weekday 9 o clock GMT +8 , let me sleep in peace thank you. Save it to library to get notifications when I upload. Chapter 1 - The Blood Moon

Looking out the window, the city at night lit up beautifully, yet Reginald couldn't feel at peace.

Looking down at his sketchbook, he kept feeling as if there's something he needed to do.

He took off his black spectacles on the wooden table, leaning further back in his chair.

He recalled what was spoken today by the headmaster at his school and frowned.

He looked down at his hands, narrowing his eyes in concatenation.

Sweat slowly formed at the corner of his head before a small flame appeared in the middle of his palm.

"Ugh!" He fell back on his chair, "Everyone has some powerful evolutionary powers!" His arms dropped at his side, "What's the point of having such a cool power when I can barely light a fire in my hand."

Looking at his spectacles, he felt like breaking it. He took it and pressed a small button on the side.

Click.

A sound was heard, as light came out of the spectacles, slowly covering his whole body.

He turned and looked in the mirror, "What's the point of making such a cool mask, but it has no purpose."

Staring right back at him, is someone wearing a mask with a lens shaped almost like a boomerang, glowing a bright orange, his dark red taper fade haircut in contrast to the orange. The black mask wrapped around his face except for his hair.

He dimmed down the orange and sighed.

He pressed the button that turned it back into a spectacle.

Looking out the window, he saw a small red moon. Dark clouds slowly move away.

'Blood moon,' Reginald thought, 'Isn't that rare?'

He looked back on his sketchbook, slowly drawing on it again.

Drawing a woman who looked almost like him, he stopped drawing after a while.

"If you were still here, how would you advise me," He put down his pencil, "Mom, I miss you. Everything feels like it's falling apart without you." He closed the book, feeling drowsy.

"It is going to be 10 already?" He yawned, carrying his heavy body towards his bed.

He just removed his spectacles and collapsed on the bed.
