Amber sat in her living room with a drink in her hand, a giant smile on her lips. She twirled the glass, admiring how the red liquid dance in it.
"How can you sit down and enjoy life when I'm suffering," Ace yelled, gritting his teeth in pain as the doctor stitched his wound.
"You caused it yourself, fool."
Amber rolled her eyes and took a sip of her drink.
"How did I cause it myself? Huh? Tell me. You think I wanted Damian to find us?"
"Look, don't spoil my mood ok? Lemme enjoy this before I think of other things."
"Like how to get my Maya back?"
"Your Maya might be dead by now," Amber said with an evil smirk.
"Wh….Wh…..why do you mean by that?" Ace asked, his eyes widening in shock and fear.
"You think I would let her go after seeing her?"
"You didn't have to let her go. You could have brought her along with us," Ace said angrily.
