The giant rock flew through the air, emitting sharp whistles and leaving a clear white trail of turbulence.
This sound barrier-breaking giant rock brushed past a Stone Giant's shoulder, carving a massive gash into its upper body, then landed on the jagged mountain wall.
Dust filled the sky as the immense kinetic energy turned the hard mountain wall into liquid, creating ripples clearly visible, and eventually leaving a crater-like mark.
Seeing the outcome of his handiwork, Tang Lin was certain he'd grown larger; otherwise, he couldn't have thrown a sound barrier cloud with a stone, let alone created a missile-like explosion.
The quantitative change reached a qualitative one, with his body size multiplied by ten thousand, bringing far more than a ten-thousandfold increase in strength, rivaling the forbidden curses in novels.
One by one, giant rocks bombarded their targets, and sound barrier clouds exploded. If not for the Dwarves in Tang Lin's pocket having extremely strong resistance, the continuous sound blasts would've killed them.
Tang Lin wasn't quite sure how his flesh and bones bore the burden of the ten-thousandfold increase in body weight without being crushed. He only felt this sensation was novel, like a child learning to skip stones, unable to stop himself.
The Stone Giants were smashed to smithereens and soon all turned into genuine stone, their bodies mixing with the rubble, indistinguishable from one another.
The feeling of impact was utterly addictive; only after every Stone Giant had turned to fragments did Tang Lin rub his slightly sore shoulders, laying down the giant rock in his hands.
Tang Lin felt a wet spot on his clothes. Looking down, he realized several Dwarves in his pocket couldn't withstand the violent shaking and had vomited.
If Tang Lin hadn't noticed quickly, someone might have drowned in the mess.
"Tsk, weren't Dwarves supposed to burst out of rocks? Can't believe they puke."
Tang Lin suppressed his nausea, moved the Dwarves to the pocket on his right, and decided to keep moving.
There was no time for them to recover because even more intense and ceaseless landslides occurred, and Stone Giants began to awaken.
The entire Mist Mountain Range had Stone Giants hidden in each rise and fall; at a glance, there must have been dozens of them.
Only a madman would continue fighting, with such numbers, Tang Lin couldn't defeat them all even if he threw until his muscles tore.
The Stone Giants were slow, like slow motion compared to Tang Lin, so when he focused on escaping, they could hardly affect him. If one blocked his path, he'd just kick it into pieces.
The Dwarves in his pocket felt life was a roller coaster, making it hard to catch their breath. Just as they were about to puke again, Tang Lin stopped.
Tang Lin had left the range of the Mist Mountain Range, taking over two hours in total. Although the mountains turned into small hills, climbing up and down for two hours, especially in slippers, left Tang Lin a bit tired.
But that was only one reason Tang Lin stopped, the second being he seemed to be returning.
"Task complete; you obtain a reward of 500 Wish Power Points. Task completion exceeds expectations; the Summoner's satisfaction is 100%. Additional reward, 500 Wish Power Points."
"Task complete, returning in thirty seconds. You can consume Wish Power to extend your stay; each 100 Wish Power increases your stay by 1 hour."
Tang Lin appeared in this world as a summoned entity, leading the Dwarves away from the Half-orcs' pursuit and across the entire Mist Mountain Range to a relatively safe location.
Apparently, the emotionless system judged Tang Lin had completed the task, so it prepared to return him to the real world.
Tang Lin set down the Dwarves, and regardless of whether they understood, he said to himself, "Sorry, I can only take you this far."
The Dwarves seemed to understand Tang Lin's meaning and started praying in front of him again. Tang Lin couldn't understand their words but being revered felt nice, even if it was a group of thumb-sized Dwarves.
Waving to these Dwarves, the countdown ended, and his body felt drawn by an invisible force, then thrown into a vortex.
Everything around seemed shredded into colorful fragments, spinning endlessly. When Tang Lin could see clearly again, he found himself back in his room.
Everything was as it was before he left. If not for the wound on his foot, Tang Lin would've doubted if it had all been a hallucination.
Checking his phone, the time showed it was 5 a.m., meaning Tang Lin had crossed over for nearly three hours. But the sky outside remained dark, with no sign of dawn.
Tang Lin felt puzzled, trying to connect to the internet. As expected, the real world's time was still just after 2 a.m. Tang Lin figured it had only been ten minutes or less.
He only regretted not noting the crossing time, so he didn't have accurate data. However, a time difference indeed existed between the two worlds.
Tang Lin went to the bathroom, washed the dirt off his foot, and applied some antiseptic. Those Half-orcs looked dirty enough to kill, and he wasn't sure if they carried any bacteria, so Tang Lin decided to get a rabies shot the next day.
After tidying up, Tang Lin quietly returned to his room. If his parents found out, he wouldn't be able to explain all the injuries; he couldn't just say they were mosquito bites.
Luckily, Tang Lin was the only one on vacation, and his parents had work the next day. They'd been asleep for a while.
Back in his room, Tang Lin tried calling the system again.
But this time, the system didn't make a sound. Tang Lin only saw a virtual screen appear before him as if it were a 3D projection.
"Even after the task is done, this emotionless system can't be bothered to speak? Could it be any more real?"
Tang Lin grumbled a bit, then began examining the content on the projection screen.
Displayed at the top was the Wish Power Value Tang Lin possessed, with a total of 1600 points. He received 100 points at initial communication, 500 points for task acceptance, and a whopping 1000 points for exceeding task completion.
