Perhaps, it must be the excitement thrumming through her veins over her pay, but Zoe bumped into Olivia on her way to the canteen and she suggested they eat at the same table again like the other day. The request brought a smile to Olivia's lips and there was a warm feeling in Zoe's chest when she saw her reaction. Zoe couldn't say the both of them were friends yet, but they were getting to know each other.
The teachers didn't need to eat in the cafeteria, but the food made by the chefs tasted good thanks to the quality contributions from the parents. Zoe would rather take her food and sit down than walk back to the staff room. It was more comfortable here than in the staff room anyway with all the envies and stares. Moreover, the students were more behaved with a teacher around to keep an eye on them.
