"Huff-huff".
The sun was mercilessly torturing the surface of the earth with extreme heat. On the ground as hot as a flying pan that even a single living soul cannot be seen, a teenaged boy was moving toward the Mountain of Calamity.
The hellish desert named Infernal.
"I was planning to eat the monsters but there is not even a rat here" Noah thought.
Noah brought the sword of the cloaked guy on his waist and

The sound of the stomach demanding food.
Noah took out the water bottle and took a sip.
I have to across Infernal desert to get to the mountain of Calamity. Gramp told me to meet the girl named Damini but how am I supposed to find a girl in that deadly mountain. Who was that guy in the cloak and why did he come to kill gramp. Gramp had always been secretive and busy with this item. Who exactly is gramp and why had I not think of all these things until now?.
Noah's mind is filled with these thoughts while walking under the heat.
"I will find out all when I meet the girl" murmured Noah.
The heat had gone down a little when the sky turned blood red. The wind started to blow.
The sun has started to rest as it had become exhausted from turtoring during all day.
The night has come.
Fortunately, Noah found a rocky place in the desert and decided to rest. He started fire and was enjoying the night sky filled with sparkling stars while lying beside the fire camp.
Then, he started remembering how his gramp died and how he was alone now. The eyes became watery.
"I will just sleep".

Noah woke up as he felt something was biting his right leg.
A rabbit. To be precise, sand rabbit.
The size of sand rabbit is the same as ordinary ones. The color is dirty yellow like the color of dust and the furs are very thick and dry because of the heat. The ears are twiced the size of the body and stuffed with dirts. Instead of having cute facial expression like the ordinary rabbit, they are smiling with the mouth filled with sharp fangs like a shark's and the red eyes which only seek for blood.
"Ahhh!!!".
Noah screamed and kicked the rabbit instinctively. Then he jumped to be on his foot.
"Grrr!" the rabbit screamed.
The sand rabbit? Why is it here?
I did not see any living things the whole day.
Then Noah felt the change in temperature which is significantly lower at night.
I am fucking stupid. They rest at day when the sun is up and hunt at night.
"Grr!" with the threatening growl, the five pairs of red eyes appeared in the dark.
"There are six of them, baby sand rabbits" Noah thought.
The baby sand rabbits hunt with the group. If they do not return to the nut after a day, the mother will come out and search for them. The killer would get chased no matter how far away they were.
"But I will have to kill them to survive".
The rabbits had surrounded him while Noah was in deep thought.
The rabbit from the back jumped at him. Noah managed to dodge to the right but his leg got bit by the rabbit from the right.
"Ah!".
Noah tried to shake it off but the sharpe fangs of it pierced into the leg.
It won't come off.
The other rabbits did not let the chance go and jumped at Noah all together without delay.
Noah took out the sword and swang which cut one of them which made the rabbits wary and slow down their movements. Then he stabbed the head of the rabbit which was biting. The blood gushed out of its head and got all over Noah.
The rabbits hesistated a little after seeing their siblings' deaths. However, their hunger got the better of them and jumped at Noah.
"Ah!" Noah can't walk properly because of the bite wound.
"
It got three of the rabbits. The body parts, the heads and guts of them painted blood red all over the ground.
The remaining one tried to escape into the dark.
"
Using all those magic was exhausting. But Noah could not afford to rest since their mother was going to go after him the next day.
"I have to go to the mountain of Calamity as fast as I can. It won't probably chase me to there" Noah thought while applying healing potion on the leg.
But now I got meat to eat.
Noah picked at the bodies of the rabbit and cut its tail and ears. Then he skinned them and cut into appropiate sizes.

He washed them and pierced all those parts with a stick to cook.

The town of hell, which lies in the Infernal desert. It's population is less than 200. It is more like a group of residents gathering together rather than a town. It gaved off the sense of quietness and more liked a dead town because of the dryness.
"Fruits, fruits"
"Meat"
Only the faint voices of the shopkeepers from the market could be heard.
"I am amost out of water" Noah thought as he passed through the empty market.
"Hey, where do I get the water?" Noah asked the fruits sale man.
"Are you new here kid?, there is not water here. We only eat fruits to relieve thirst. Want some fruits?".
The sale man got a fat body which looked like a enormous balloon with strong hands attached to it. He got a red hat which was obviously smaller than his head size. The eyes looked like it was looking for a prey and above the mouth lied a dirty brown moustache.
"Eh? Yes".
"How many?"
"Emm, about five?".
The shopkeeper put five fruits which seemed like it was going to rot the next second in the bag and gave it to Noah.
Noah took out one of them from the bag and started eating it right away.
The shopkeeper stared Noah in the eyes with a straight face and said
"It would be 250 silver coins".
"Eh?"
"What? Don't tell me you don't have money".
"Money?".
The shopkeeper observed Noah's face with eyes filled with disgust, doubt and anger and suddenly threw the punch at Noah's face.
"Ah!".
Noah flew away because of that and blood came out of his nose.
"If you don't have money now, you will work as my slave to pay back, you punk. You think the world is so easy that you will get free food like that?".
He walked closer to Noah as he said that.
People started to gather around as they hear a fight.
The shopkeeper threw another right hand punch at Noah's stomach.
Blood mixed with saliva came out of Noah's mouth.
Noah lied on the ground while holding his stomach because of the pain. He was shivering.
"Oh, you have a item hmm?" the shopkeeper said as he saw the item wrapped with clothes on Noah's back.
"I will take this as a payment"
He reached out his hand to take the scythe.
Slash.
With the sound of the cut, the hands reached out to take the scythe were no longer attached to arms.
"Ahh!!!".
The place was filled with sharp screams and blood of the shopkeeper.
Noah cut his hands with the sword.
"I-I am sorry"
The people's murmurs and gasps in the crowd made Noah extremely annoyed and uncomfortable.
He ran away from that place which was filled with the swears of the shopkeeper and the crowd's voices.
Noah was scared.
"No matter how strong a person is, he will feel fear if he has done wrong"
Noah recalled the words of his gramp.
"I was wrong" Noah thought as he recalled the eyes of the shopkeeper which was filled with disgust and the looks of the people.
"I guess I will just continue the journey" Noah said as he gave his back to the exit of the town of hell.
