'I still remember it like yesterday even though a year has passed.
That night as usual I lay in the garden admiring the night sky lit by a diamond silver disk moon with twinkling stars like scattered moon dust in the sky as my gaze was soon attracted by a shimmering purple star that threatened to outshine the moon.
I focused my attention on this star only for a split second as immediately my consciousness was drawn into a brand new world. Splendid rivers of multi-colored light flowed in different directions but despite their limitless numbers they seemed to originate from a singular source.
From that singular point I saw the figure of a gigantic being with golden spiral eyes sitting atop a massive throne. Following his gaze, I found that he was looking at the countless rivers that seemed to flow from him.
The rivers were filled to the brim with infinite amounts of bubbles, concentrating further it seemed that the bubbles were made of limitless amounts of multi-colored dots which when one gazed further into magnified into boundless yet miniscule dots.
It appeared that each time I focused my attention into anything it will magnify and show what it constitutes. But what I saw next left me dumbstruck. Observing one of the many miniscule dots I found out that it was a planet filled with creatures on their knees prostrating!
Shockingly all those miniscule dots were planets and from planets, spiral galaxies and the bubbles were universes then the rivers were…
One thing they had in common though was that they were all in their knees prostrating towards the gigantic being. As if sensing my shock, he turned towards me before standing up and bowing towards me shattering the vision.'
Waking up only to find out that I have been unconscious for a month.
That was the least of my worries as I soon found out that I was pregnant!' reminisced Laila Hesperia as she gently rocked the baby in her arms.
Her body swayed to and fro, her hair black as night tied to a bun with a jade hairpin exposing exquisite facial features with her body adorning a white dress wrapping around her, exposing her bountiful contours. She wore a gentle expression filled with love as she looked at the baby in her arms.
"Now eight months later here you are my beloved son" muttered Laila Hesperia before she plastered a sweet kiss on Fritz's chubby face.
…
A year has passed since Fritz was reborn in Gaia; a multiracial world boasting the Human, Memnon, Elven and Dwarve'n races. A world divided into three continents namely the Emerald, Terran and Bataillen Continents. Each of the continents were ruled by a singular race as normally Elves and Dwarfs were regarded as the Spirit race.
The Emerald continent was inhabited by elves and dwarves, the humans established the Augustus Empire ruling over the entire Terran continent with the Memnon race occupying the Bataillen continent though from time to time they threatened to invade the other two continents.
A world where strength was truth!
According to Fritz's mother, Laila, they were not residents of either continents as they resided in a region called the Abyssal Grand Canyons which was regarded as a forbidden zone. Apparently the region they were staying in was at the most central part of the world as it was at a place where the three continents intersected.
Fritz asked his mother why it was regarded as a forbidden zone but all he got as an answer was a mischievous smile from his mother claiming that he will know when it's time.
Another intriguing yet shocking thing he heard from his mother was that they were staying in a Pocket World isolated from the world which is why apart from him, his mother and her two maids he couldn't find anyone. Even though prior to reincarnation he already knew that his mother wasn't 'normal' this discovery surprised him.
Days passed by as Fritz lived a hermit lifestyle with his mother though he was eager to explore and prepare to enter the world there was nothing he could do since his superpower hadn't awaken and all the other Wish's would also be utilized when he had awakened his superpower.
He wasn't disheartened by this though as he didn't spend his days idly rather he picked up the basic sword, dagger and fist training every day with his mother every morning and in the afternoon he indulged himself in learning about world history, language, herbs, medicine and beasts, dungeons and portals.
Any kind of information he found enriching and useful he properly studied, thus spending his time productively and happily as his cold expression softened as time passed and it had been a very long time since he was this happy.
The burden in his heart slowly lessened as a forgotten memory unfurled in his mind as in it appeared a blurry and foggy appearance of a female figure whom with each day became clearer and definite though the process was slow.
Currently all he could see was the color of the emerald dress she wore but the rest were obscure! This was a knot in his heart.
