"You should have at least told us that you were leaving at least, even if you want your destination to be a secret." I told her
"Well, if we did, you all would have stopped us, and we would have stayed." she replied
"Damn it, your answer is the same as the original."
"Well, I told you, I am a copy, how is me? Did you manage to actually see her?"
"Yes, I have. Through that good-looking idiot over there."
I pointed at the so-called lord of the blue rose, who was now just rubbing his cheeks against that fox and playing with the fox without any shame. I want to find the person who chose the word champion and lord as the title for someone who merged without power, I'll kill them because I'll die of embarrassment if I'm telling everyone that's e's my champion or lord.
"So what are you guarding? Are there any secrets here that we can exploit to our advantage?"
"Well, that's why I'm here, aren't I?" Mom chuckled "As you've noticed, this house is the very same house where we all used to live, it's also a treasure in itself. but as for actual tools, they are mostly useless, they can be used as a relic for decorating, but their main use is to only defeat the guardian dragon."
"Dad wouldn't leave only useless things behind, there's got to be some other, I don't know, grand blanket or something, he was quite proud of the time of him creating the first blankets. Maybe there's a grand blanket that can make you stronger if you use it every time you sleep."
"I said mostly, don't forget that." Mom reminded "There are definitely ones that are definitely useful, there's the staff of the first mage, there are seeds of the first roses that sprouted after you original ones, they can be used as great medicines.
"There are the papers where Jerah wrote why he deluded the potency of the demon bloodline, it also explains why he chose to bless the village of Paradis, who is a descendant of the first-ever summoned person.
"And this was before the famous first 2 heroes. He then dedicated the fighting style of his ancestors to us, which is why we gave the villagers who are born there the benefit of growing stronger every time they practice it. And last but not least, in this house, there's a pair of our original wedding rings."
"Wedding rings?" I then started to think back on it "Back then, you both used this never melting candle that you guys called the candles of eternity, something about representing your never-ending love for each other. You did wear some later when the humans and demons started it, but you 2 don't value it enough to make it a treasure."
"Well, these ones were made by us both instead of just Jerah." she responded with an amused giggle "I made one for him and he made one for me, but before we can put it on, the humans and demons dedicated a ring to each of us, so that's the ones you saw, we wore them so that it shows the 2 races that we value them equally and wish for unity."
"Hah, you 2 must feel bad now that you know that the first goddess wished for unity between the 2 races." Perseus said as he's now giving that stupid fox a small back massage.
The 2 didn't have any retort to that, Terrence just kept his usual smiling expression, but I can see it wavering just a little bit, Mark's face was neutral, but it was obvious that he was questioning his morals quite a bit.
I have seen and witnessed many humans who came before me, they all wanted my powers in order to vanquish the demon lord and some even wish for the extinction of the entire demon race, they told me these false stories and rumors of what the demons are up to, and I sense nothing but sincerity in their words.
They truly believe those stories as they were raised that way, but I knew in my heart that this was not what our parents wanted, humans and demons are to live together in harmony, and the idea and concept of racism were very hard to understand at first.
Eventually, I started to learn about it, and yet I still can't understand its idea, Mom and Dad had a harder time as they were the creators of every living being on the planet.
"So, what do your wedding rings do?"
"Well one of its functions is that they'll fly to the first couple it sees and insert themselves on their finger," she answered, "They can take it off of course, but even if they throw it away, it will appear within their body, most probably in their pockets. But the other powers are that the couple can speak to each other in their minds no matter how far they are.
"The couple's powers are also stronger and amplified if they are in close proximity, most of its other powers are mental health-related like they can soothe the others by sending a relaxing and calm aura through the rings to soothe their partner, a lot more that is similar to that."
Well, Perseus can use that with Leilah, heck, he can use it with that fox, because...well...Leilah is quite envious of that fox, he's too close to it. But nevertheless, useful for him and Leilah, that's like true love right there, even if my sister has gained some weird and scary characteristics.
"So, where's the ring and all these other stuff?"
"The ring, you'll have to search through the house yourselves, as for the others, I can help direct you to them, but bring out a paper, and I can draw out its direction." she requested and Perseus just got out a scroll and a pencil.
He handed it to her as I then search throughout the house, I think I know where it is, she used to like to hide things in a kitchen cabinet to keep things out of the gods' hands.
So I went and search there, and once I opened a particular cabinet, I see this small ring case, and out of nowhere, the case burst open and something flew fast and attached itself to my ring finger while the other flash flew out of the kitchen.
I checked my ring finger and I can see a ring attached to it.
