Christina looked at the place that George brought her with furrowed brows.
'He brought me to a church?'
"What are we doing here? Are you trying to convert me?" asked Christina.
George chuckled, "I don't know you have humour in you," said George. "Convert? That's a new one. I'm taking you here in hope we can get married in front of god. I forgot to ask you what religion you're practising," added George, while rubbing his chin in a thinking pose.
Christina snapped her head towards George, "Wh-what?!" She looked around the church and noticed a few people were setting up chairs and tables, as well as catering arrangements at the clearing beside the church building.
There was panic in Christina's eyes. 'Is mom doing things behind my back? Did she plan a wedding without my knowledge?' Christina asked in her mind. She felt a dreadful feeling washing over her.
Christina's hands slightly tremble.
