The corner of Felix's mouth tilted down. He stared at Jasmine a minute longer before he trained his eyes away from Jasmine and his sight caught on the clock that was hanging on the wall. "It's lunchtime. Don't you want me to go to the canteen?" asked Felix.
Jasmine rubbed her tummy hearing the word canteen. She was indeed hungry. However, after what had happened at the canteen yesterday and hearing what Mama V said last night, she still wanted to avoid Olivia.
She still didn't know the actual reason Olivia was being 'nice' to her. She was really scared if Olivia was really interested in her. Not that she was homophobic, it was just, as much as she respected other sexuality, she hoped others respected her sexuality too, as a straight woman. Respect should come in both ways. Don't use her current emotional vulnerability to bend her according to their preferences.
