Jason walks out of the vineyard's main gate door and hops into his car before driving his car. Jason calls Michael to inform him.
*Ring...Ring...Ring*
"Hello, Jason" spoke Michael.
"Hello Sir, good morning. I've prepared the task you gave and today I came to the vineyard to inform the workers to clean up the cottage and the lighting staff will set up by next week, Friday in the morning. I personally will come on Friday again to check up on the place." stated Jason.
"Wow, you always make me impressed with your take and full of responsibility, Jason. That's why I trusted this job with you. Thank you for your help, Jason." Michael praised Jason.
"It's my pleasure, sir. Hope all will go well," said Jason.
"Alright Jason, I'll hang up now. Safe drive to the city."
"I will, sir. Thank you," said Jason.
In Michael's mind, 'I hope everything will go well. I'm really excited to see her again, the love of my life again.' Michael thinks in his mind.
Time passes by now, 10:30 am something, and Ivy reaches her hometown. She parks her car beside her house and gets out of the car to open the car boot and takes out her luggage, then closes the boot. She goes into her house; knocks on the main door.
*Knock...Knock...Knock*
"Mom? Dad? Are you guys in the house? I'm back!" said Ivy, while waiting for them to open the door.
"Seems like they're not home. Where did they go without informing me?" pouting Ivy.
Something came to her mind, which is a spare key always hidden under the small flowerpot beside the entrance door for emergencies.
"Yeah, right, I totally forgot about the spare key. Let's open the door and wait for them inside."
Before Ivy bends down and takes the spare key, a familiar voice calls out her name.
"Ivy?"
She turns around and sees the person, but she already knows whose voice it belongs to. Yes, it's her mom.
"Oh, my dear Ivy, you came earlier than you mentioned." said her mom.
"My lovely daughter has back! Welcome back home dear." said her dad, who is standing beside his wife.
"Mom and dad where have you two been too? questioned Ivy.
"We both went to buy some ingredients for making some of your favourite dishes. Oh my, did you wait so long? Let's get inside." said worriedly her mom.
"Yes, dear. Let's get in and we'll take about it," said Ivy.
Three of them get inside the house. Ivy goes to her room to put her stuff in there and comfortable clothes at home. Her dad and mom go put the ingredients in the kitchen and her mom is making some drinks for them to have it. Ivy comes out of her room after changing her clothes and sits on the couch. Ivy's moms take the drinks and some snacks to the living room where her husband and Ivy were.
"Here, dear, have some drinks and snacks. In a few minutes, I will prepare our lunch, which is your favourite food," said Ivy's mom excitedly.
"Yay sounds good. I will help you, mom," said Ivy.
"No Ivy, you drove the car here, you must be tired better to be rest." caringly said her dad.
"It's alright dad, I'm not tired at all."
"Alright, then have the snacks first. And Ivy... I want to talk to you about something." suspiciously said Ivy's mom.
"Mom! Don't tell me to go on another blind date. Dad, do you know something about it?" asked Ivy.
"No, no, no, I didn't know what you were talking about. You better explain to her, honey," said Ivy's dad to his wife.
"Well, we're going to meet a fortune teller." Her mom told the truth.
"What about meeting a fortune teller? Out of nowhere, why we are going to meet that person? Don't tell me is that why you told me must come to our hometown this week," asked Ivy furiously.
"You can in that way or in another way to meet you too." said her mom.
Her dad keeps silent and didn't interrupt their conversation. Yes, Ivy's dad's name is Charlie Laurier. He is a calm person who loves a peaceful environment. As happens in the household, he won't interrupt the conversation between mother and daughter, only the times he needs to. But Ivy's mom, Rosaline Laurier, is an outspoken person. She expresses her opinion directly with no worrying, but not in Ivy's marriage life. Because wherever she speaks up about the marriage things, Ivy won't go to their hometown to visit them for a few weeks and won't respond much to her mom. But this time, Rosaline is being reticent for weeks for Ivy to come to the hometown and talk slowly.
"Look Ivy, you're already at the age of marrying someone and your dad and I are becoming older. So, we want to see your marriage and play with our grandchildren before we close our eyes. I don't want any envious or regretful feelings when I die." Rosa stated her points.
"Well, I think I will not die soon. I have a long life ahead," said Charly.
"Honey, I'm being serious here. So, don't make funny jokes."
"Alright, sorry ma'am. My bad dear." Charly said while looking at Ivy.
"Huh, can I know why you suddenly want me to meet the fortune teller? If you have a good reason, then I will meet her and, in my viewpoint, I don't trust them. Most of them are con artist, who is pretending to be the one and cheats the innocent person to get their money." Ivy stated her point.
"First, I also didn't believe in her, but after hearing what she told me. I can't say I won't believe her, but I have most of my trust in her," said Rosa.
"Yes Ivy, I also didn't trust a fortune teller, but when we both met her, we can't believe everything was the truth, the only truth," said Charly.
Her dad surprises ivy with what he told her because he won't speak nonsense.
"So, can you guys tell me, now what the lady fortune teller told to you guys about?" asked Ivy curiously.
