Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

The fortune teller lady asks Ivy to ask her the questions she wants to know.

"Well, as my mom asked, I want to know when will my marriage will be and how my life will go on. Yeah, that's what my questions are," said Ivy.

"Alright, shows me your both hands." Said the fortune teller lady.

Ivy shows her both hands. After seeing Ivy's hand palm for a few seconds, she said.

"Now I will grab your both hands and will close my eyes. When I ask you to ask your questions, ask again the questions you asked. If you have more questions, ask in the meantime while I am closing my eyes and ask me. When you know your answers and are done with your questions, say, 'I'm done." The fortune teller lady told her instructions to Ivy.

"Alright, I understand," said Ivy, a bit confused.

"Then, shall we start? Now, grab my hands."

Ivy grabs the fortune teller lady's hand. The fortune teller lady closes her eyes, and in a few minutes, she asks Ivy to ask her questions.

Ivy asked the questions again, "When will I get married and to who?".

"Soon, soon you will get married to a man." said the fortuneteller lady.

"Then who am I going to get married to?"

"It's quite hard to say because I see two men and the man does not seem like a normal human being at all. Seems like the fate is in your hands whoever you choose that the person you will be married to." said the fortuneteller lady.

Ivy gets shocked and confused at the same time. When she remembered the Critter Forest story which Richard told her and they made plans to go for a visit. So, just out of curiosity, she plans to ask about is it the man maybe is 'Michael'. Before she could ask, the fortune teller said.

"You better be careful, even the fate in your hand, for choosing your own partner in this life, but they will be more problems you are going to face. So, go nowhere. You are not familiar with the places."

After saying the words, she opens her eyes and asks, "You are with your questions, is it?"

"Wait, what?! I didn't ask the questions yet, and you had said some random thing out of nowhere." Confusedly, said, Ivy.

"Huh? So, why did you that you are done with your questions?" asked the fortune teller lady.

"No! I said nothing."

"It is so unusual of me, but why did I open my eyes if you didn't say you were done?"

"Well, can I know why you said I cannot go somewhere I'm not familiar with? asked Ivy.

"I can't answer the question because whatever you asked, and I answered while I closed my eyes, I won't remember it. That's my power." Explained the fortune teller lady.

"Alright, thank you for your time. How much should I pay?" asked Ivy.

The fortune teller lady smiles and replies to Ivy, "You need to pay, just live your life truthfully, honestly and happily for yourself."

Ivy thanks the fortune teller lady and leaves the room. Her parents both are waiting in the living room and chatting happily with the cute little girl.

Ivy walks toward her parents. Charly notices Ivy and asks, "Are you done receiving your answers?"

"Yes dad, shall we go home now," said Ivy.

The three say bye to the little girl and walk out of the house. 'The little waves goodbye to us cutely. On the way to our home, mom didn't open her mouth to ask what the fortune teller lady saying or anything about it until we arrived home.'

'We come to the home when mom enters the house, still didn't ask me anything, but she goes to freshen her up before she is entering the bathroom. She tells dad to cut the ingredients for the dinner. I go to my room and freshen myself up, then sit in front of my dressing table doing my skin routine. While doing my skin routine, the fortune teller lady's words pop up in my mind.'

"I didn't even tell or asked her about the vineyard or the critter forest and as she said not go to any unfamiliar places. Then, the vineyard is not a familiar place to me. Should I tell mom, no, maybe it's the best thing not to tell her about it? Or else she will freak out." Ivy mumbles.

"Dear, the dinner is ready. Comes out and have it together," said Charly.

"Yes dad, coming," replied Ivy.

After having dinner, the three of them are sitting in the living room silently watching television. That's when Rosa opens her mouth and asked, "So Ivy, what did the fortune teller lady say about your married and life?"

'Finally, she asked.' Ivy thinks in her mind and says, "She said I will marry a great guy and not worry about it."

"It is really, oh my god! I hope soon I will see my son-in-law." happily said, Rosa.

'Of course, you will, but I don't know when. Is it a lie? No, it is a white lie. Yeah, I just don't want to hype my mom by saying what the fortune teller told exactly.' thought Ivy.

"Are you that happy now, honey? After hearing the good news you're waiting for," asked Charly to Rosa.

"Of course, dear, I'm cloud on nine now. Anyway, Ivy, I know you don't have a lover now but if anyone proposes to you, you better not reject him and bring him here. If he is from a good family background, good and generous person. He will be my son-in-law. Alright!" said Rosa excitedly.

Ivy smiles awkwardly and says, "Tomorrow, at noon, I'm going back to my home."

"Oh honey, I'm going to miss you," said Charly.

"Then why don't you both come live with me there? asked Ivy. Even she knows the answer.

"Come on, you know we love this place and being comfortable to living here. If we leave with you, who is going to take care of my baby gardens," said Rosa.

"Yes, dear, where your mom is, there will be me, and you know that. I can't leave your mom because I love her so much." clingy said Charly.

"Oh, come on honey, day by day you're talking, becoming so cringe. Anyway, let's get to go to sleep now. Tomorrow morning, we need to do and pack side dishes for our Ivy." said Rosa.

"It's alright mom, I can cook when I have time or will eat with my friends or will order food. No need to worry about it," said Ivy.

"No way how my dear daughter can always order food or eat out. We are happy to do it for you," said Charly a bit worried.

"Alright, alright, I'll happily bring the foods you both make," said Ivy happily.

"Then, enough with our small talks and let's go to sleep now. Goodnight, dear," said Rosa to Ivy.

"Goodnight, Ivy. Have sweet dreams," said Charly to Ivy.

"Goodnight, dad and mom. Have a sweet dream too," said Ivy and goes to sleep.
