"Elton, take me to a nearby bar that's open where I can have a good drink and afterwards, I'll tell you what you're curious to know." Jesy murmured loud enough for Elton to hear.
But instead, Elton chuckled and it soon turned into a loud laughter inside the moving vehicle. The laughter was totally filled with disbelieve.
Jesy stared at him silently without uttering a word to interrupt his laughter. Right now, she wasn't sure how she felt, if it was anger or something else but whatever it was, it was hard to explain or even describe.
She was still in shock at what she just found out. Jesy barely knew Lydia, apart from a few exchange of words and glances, there was nothing else between she and Lydia, but she would never have tagged Lydia as someone who could associate with someone like Nelson.
