Derek was already standing inside the round wooden gazebo when Megan arrived at the backyard. It was windy and the trees and ornamentals complemented the serenity of the yard, it was beautiful and the air was fresh but Megan no longer found the yard special as she used to because she had now seen something more better to adore. She stood there for a while to idolize the man inside the gazebo.
Megan smiled awkwardly when Derek caught her stare, she instantly blushed. She breathed in and out and finally walked into the gazebo and stood beside Derek.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?"
Megan was the first to speak, she looked ahead, she was referring to the trees and flower plants around. The wind was blowing around and making her brown hair messy. She was really curious about what Derek wanted to talk about.
"It's how you choose to see it."
Derek replied without interest, he seemed bored and wanted to finish with things as fast as possible.
"Oh…you don't think it's beautiful?"
