"(Why did it stop in all of a sudden?)" Erland wondered. He cautiously opened the door of the carriage and walked out, just to see a sight that made him rather underwhelmed.
The coachman of the carriage lit a cigar and was smoking it to his heart's content. He did not consider to even yell and tell Erland why he was stopping.
"You could have told us before you suddenly stopped the carriage." said Erland, looking at the man with curiosity. The man was still silent as ever.
"Excuse me?" Erland approached the man who was still silent as ever.
"(He wasn't this silent when I hired him...What's wrong?)" Erland stayed in his place with cautiousness.
"(Could the light of the cigar hints something?)" Erland furrowed his eyebrows. He could yet not sense anything around him. Logi caught up with him, leaving the carriage empty.
