As the vote was announced, Erland's soul was getting dry out of worries. He took a gulp as the citizens declared their vote.
"The ones who wish for Mr. Hephaestus to get arrested, raise your hand please." said the leader.
Many citizens rose their hands. It dried out Erland's soul even more.
"The ones who wish to let Mr. Hephaestus go raise your hand please."
Once again, many rose their hands. But it seemed equal to the ones disagreeing. After a while of suspense, Arne rose his hand which made the agreeing side large in numbers.
"Congratulations, Mr. Hephaestus. You shall investigate the matter by yourself. Of course, helps are allowed...But please refrain from any suspicious activities."
