They gathered around the North Gate. The Sun had risen its first light shined upon the village as the people stood there for their elder's final message before leaving their hometown,
"Peace to you all." he said and the sadness was clear in his eyes and his words were clearly in pain he continued "Today we are leaving our hometown, Our fallen our memories the Good and some Bad but I know by the dept of my heart that we'll rise again, A time will come when we defeat these Evil things but for now we must live for the sake of our youth, let's go!"
He finished and they began to leave the village slowly they left and when half of the population was out, they heard the same voice coming from the forest. It was him with his soldier he said "Tua na ki kash tué na kish!!"
and the Weggros started to run at them shouting, the people panicked and rushed to leave the village the archers sat on their horses and charged and constantly hit them with arrows but they wouldn't stop they kept charging but by the grace of God they were at a distance the villages left the village but Nas said to Woermann "We might have escaped but they will catch us we can fight them but the forces coming from Engirine will catch us and it's all over for us, what do we do know!!" Nas shouted but Lee came forward and shouted.
"Run Run go as far as you can!" Lee went to the gates, but Woermann followed him he grabbed him and said, "What are you doing, you can do this!!" he tried to pull him, but Lee escaped and said, "No go go far away as you can go now!!"
Woermann cried "I will not leave you, by my life." but Lee punched him in the face and spoke.
"No just fucking leave the evil catch if we run, I will hold them" he gave his green cloak to him and said while crying "You are the Elder now and tell Gerald I love him he is the best brother!"
He then closed the door while Woermann returned crying he heard him shouting hard.
"I have achieved my goal father, come here bastard yes clean sweep!" and then the voice of Lee shouting was heard and then silence.
The villagers were at a safe distance, as Woermann approached he said to the people.
"We lost him, we lost him I couldn't save him!"
he punched himself twice, but Estrog approached and said, "Calm down Brother you tried we must leave now!" Woermann controlled his emotions and said, "Keep moving keep moving!"
In the night they reached a forestry area where on their left and right was a forest Woermann said calmly "Rest here we will move at first light of sunrise make less fire for less attention."
The villagers set up their camps and Woermann said to his soldier "Be on guard, I know they will attack, silence is dangerous!"
The soldiers were on guard, Woermann was sitting on a fallen branch of some tree when Nas approached him with two apples and offered him one, he sat down with him and said after taking a bite from the juicy red apple "Eat it late night you must be hungry, help yourself." Woermann smiled and said, "Thank you!" and took a big bite from the red apple, Nas asked him "Darien, why he is so unsociable, is something wrong with him?" he again took a bite while Woermann answered.
"No no he is all right, just because he has suffered too much, His mother died when he was just 17, the man and the two kids found last here were his brothers and father, he loved them so much, His grandma whom he had loved by heart was killed in an ambush by Wegrros.
Now he thinks that his Comrade means I die, he will not have reason to live." he further after taking a bite "he says you are a good commander he is honoured to fight by you!"
Nas who was saddened said, "Me good commander, I'm nothing but a useless brat, that night it was a fluke I commanded otherwise I am just dumb and scared I just hide it!"
Woermann looked at him and said happily "No one is useless or a brat he is a legend, but you just have to find it there!" he pointed his finger to his heart he further added, "You are a good commander but don't believe in yourself."
Nas puts his hand on his chest where his heart feels and little confident and says, "You are the greatest man I have ever met you are not a comrade but a brother to me Woermann!"
Woermann was happy and said while smiling and looking at the shining stars "Uh I have never felt this happy before my bro...." he didn't even complete his sentence when an arrow came and hit him on his left chest making him fell backwards, Nas grabbed him "No no brother, AMBUSH!!" and the Wegrros emerged from the forest and and the battle begin as the human were ready they didn't get a massive blow but the Wegrros on the trees where constantly firing at them, Nas hid Woermann inside the branch and said "Protect the women and children, bring the Wegrros on the trees down!" as soon as he finished he felt a hand on his back and it was Darien who said "I'll take care of them." he ran and grabbed a rope and throws it on the tree and climbed up and he was cutting them like it was a child's play for, on the ground Nas stood who said "Is he even Human." he continued to fight the Wegrros but then he heard the women shouting and he knew what might have happened he again shouted "Protect the women and children!!"
He rushed to the women and children resting site when on his way he met with Thasarai who said to him "Going there, let's go toga.... Oh watch out!" he pushed Nas and two arrows hit Thasarai chest he fell down while Nas shouted "TH oh no don't" He looked and the position of the fired arrow and saw a Wegrro General who was laughing he grabbed his sword and rushed at the General and he climbed a body of Wegrros and jumped giving an overhead attack but The General dogged it kicked Nas but he blocked and got back and attack The General from left side but he parried it and disarm him Nas fell on the ground tries to reach his sword but The general stomps his hand Nas screams while The General puts his blade upside down and said "Good luck in hell you pest!!" he was about to impale Nas when an arrow came on a nick of time and hit the General on his hand making him fell back Nas stood up picked his sword and looked back it was Lucia they both nod and Nas came closer to the General who tried to stab Nas with a dagger which was on his left hand but Nas dismembered his arm General screamed While Nas Said "Hell for you!" and he beheaded him and the head came clean of spilling reddish black thing to spread all over the ground. The Wegrros Were Retreating while Nas angrily said, "Shoot them non shall leave unwounded or kill them it better." arrows came but many retreated safely. Nas took a deep breath and heard the women and the children crying and said to himself "God why these poor kids? What have they done wrong!"
He heard Lucia crying he came closer, and his soul left his body, he saw Niansa's body lying flat on the ground with her neck slashed he said.
"Why when how." Kerunlé came close and spoke.
"She was ganged upon by the Wegrros who slit her throat I was far away I couldn't save her, I'm sorry." Nas cried and suddenly remembered Woermann he rushed to the branch and Gastat followed him as well Gastat was shocked when Nas pulled out Woermann.
