Beep-Beep-Beep..
The sound of the ringing alarm woke Clara from her sleep and she quickly reached her hand to the side table to turn it off.
Stirring a little Clara then opened her eyes and found Mello hugging her to sleep. The boy was fast asleep and refused to wake up even after the disturbing sound of her alarm.
'Must be the jetlag' she told herself as a smile appeared on her lips as she kissed the little bundle of joy in her arms before climbing down the bed.
Getting ready, Clara stepped out of the room and found Abby already preparing breakfast in the kitchen.
"Oh you are ready, already," Abby said turning to her friend who was ready for work.
Abby had woken up earlier as she had a meeting to attend via conference call. So once she was done attending it, she decided to prepare breakfast for them.
