"Good morning, my love." Lucifer woke up to a soft voice chirping in his ears.
He smiled a little while shuffling in the cozy bed, hands stretched over his head after a very tiring sleep. Well, he didn't sleep that bad but just that not for long as the girl beside him had the capability of keeping him up at nights. She was kind of like a magic which he never imagined to have in his dark life but he also knew that she wouldn't be able to accept his truth. As if anyone would be appreciating the fact that they are hooked up with the devil, himself and that was one of the reason he hid his identity from her. He trusted her as much as he trusted Selene but human is always a human and they would never be able to accept anything celestial as real.
"I have to go for work." She whined while shaking him more.
"Can't you take few days off? It is not like you need that job to survive." He complained.
