Chapter 11 - scorpions pit 11

On a small hillside, on a hot day, Nephthys was resting with her amor missing a few parts and one axe was damaged, while the order was slightly ok in a way only the leg plate of the armor was ok,

I have been hunting for about 2 weeks now for what I thought was supposed to take only a few more to level up toke me about a lot more.

I mean I counted 7 but I had to kill 23 to go up to the next level and I had to make time to train my climbing skills and harden them.

the only progress I made was in climbing as I can now go up the wall like an actual spider speed and can support even the most difficult angle.

I also killed 11 more scorpions which greatly reduce the number of scorpions in the area but was later occupied by another group of scorpions that came out of the sand

they seem to live here before but were later chased out when their population became too much however I am not part of their group so I am not sure of this.

By observation, it seems like my thoughts were right as after 2 scorpions fought over a particular hole the one that lost returned to the desert.

Gathering my thoughts together I found that it became easier to concentrate on a particular goal or objective which takes commitment to a whole new level.

I mean, I don't feel tiered of killing this scorpion and could do it all year long, if I wanted to but the decision has not been made yet.

The only downside of this is that I can get lost in my actions being time absent

I am now prepared to hunt the 3 meters scorpion whose cave I have been eyeing, I waited for some hours as I see the scorpion coming back looking seriously wounded.

I jumped from high above slamming my axe to its head and breaking the axe.

I quickly maneuver my way to its side and pull out my sword from the inventory stabbing its stomach from the side.

I ran as the blade cut through it taking out some of its legs before moving to the side.

I ran a few meters away from it, taunting it to come after. in anger, the scorpion dragged its body running after me.

it was just a few cm from my position, then the sandy ground gave way making it fall into a pit full of scorpion legs that I made into spears inside.

I could hear the monster's last roar as it died. I felt my whole body was bust full of energy before breaking another wall in me and sending me to the next level.
